A few of them had deceived a young girl from Ta Lei’s tribe who ended up committing suicide out of self-loathing.
Given the circumstances, Ta Lei rembered Su Yiren teaching him that a superior had to be ruthless when it was necessary.
Thus, Ta Lei ordered the trouble-causing adventurers to be killed in front of the entire city and their bodies to be strung up on the city walls.
In less than a day, their bodies were picked to the bone by birds.
Ta Lei’s grueso thods stamped out any ideas that anyone in the city had of disobeying the laws.
Su Yiren continued to collect information dutifully as she communicated with Jin Qianxun to understand the Truth Association.
Jin Qianxun was afraid of the Truth Association, but he had already sworn his loyalty to Lin Yuan in Oak City.

When Jin Qianxun received these resources, his fear slowly started to change.
He would never be able to receive the resources that Su Yiren gave him from the Truth Association.
Thus, Jin Qianxun started to willingly offer information to Su Yiren instead of her pressing him.
Su Yiren learned fresher information about the Truth Association from Jin Qianxun.
