When the sun rose, its feathers would beco bright gold and eventually resemble beautiful flas.
Chiy reminded Lin Yuan of the legendary vermilion bird from his previous life.
Yet, it was also different from the vermilion bird because the vermilion bird wielded fire-elental energy, but Chiy’s power lay with light and the heat naturally associated with it.
This ability was along the sa line as the one that the Mother of Bloodbath gained from the Sky Sundial Jade Spider.

However, it was clear that Chiy was not only going down the path laid down by the Twilight Willpower Rune.
When the sun set, Chiy’s feathers would darken.
This was a characteristic that Chiy had never displayed in the past.
The cloud patterns that sloughed off from Chiy’s body crawled back onto Chiy’s body after its feathers darkened.
Sound-type energy was intangible.
But now, Chiy could control the cloud patterns and manipulate them into musical notes. The musical notes could produce any sound that Chiy wanted by clashing the musical notes together.
With a wave of his hand, Lin Yuan used Source Sand’s Close Guard Sand to form a wall of sand.
Lin Yuan said, “Chiy, try to use the musical notes to use Shatter Sound Attack.”
Chiy collided the musical notes together, and each collision produced a sound hamr.
When the sound hamr hit the wall of sand, it broke into many smaller hamrs that crashed through the wall.
Source Sand was now Fantasy V.
The wall of sand produced by Source Sand’s Close Guard Sand should be able to easily handle the attacks of any of Lin Yuan’s feys.
Every ti the other feys evolved, Source Sand would help them to test their new powers.
It was clear that Chiy was not using its full power when it collided the musical notes together and used Shatter Sound Attack.
Although the wall of sand broke under Shatter Sound Attack’s second attack, this did not an that Source Sand was weak but that Chiy had beco stronger.
However, Chiy was not done with putting on an exhibition for Lin Yuan.
Many musical notes fell from Chiy’s feathers and started to crash together when Chiy flapped its wings.
The bounce of every musical note produced a sound hamr each ti they hit against each other.
When he saw the nurous sound hamrs, alarm bells rang in Lin Yuan’s head.

This barrage of sound hamrs was much weaker than the first attack.
But when the thousands of sound hamrs slamd into the sand walls, the power was so explosive that it imdiately detonated seven walls of sand.
Granules of sand littered the Spirit Lock spatial zone.
Luckily, Lin Yuan had used a shield of Close Guard Sand to protect all the other feys in the Spirit Lock spatial zone. Otherwise, Chiy would even have blown up its own nest.
By now, even the block-headed Chiy was aware that it had caused trouble.
Chiy just wanted to show Lin Yuan its new ability, but it had not intended to cause damage.
But at this mont, Chiy did not even have the strength to apologize because the final usage of Shatter Sound Attack had sapped all of its spiritual power.
