"Did you save so for ?" Sylvan Cheney curled his lips and asked.

"I did, I did." Jasmine Yale quickly nodded, "Are you almost back? Butler Santana tried the pastries I made and said they were delicious."

"I’m on my way ho, wait for half an hour."

"Alright, are you driving yourself?"

"Yes."

"Then I won’t disturb you. I see the weather isn’t great, it’s very windy, so please be careful."

Jasmine Yale carefully reminded him a few more tis before reluctantly hanging up the phone.

Even though it had only been a few hours since they parted, she still missed him as soon as she woke up.

She busied herself in the afternoon making so pastries and looking over the project proposals he gave her. Although she didn’t have much freedom, she felt more fulfilled.

Fulfillnt was enough.

Jasmine Yale lowered her head, her fingers sliding on the tablet, while waiting for him, she focused on the docunts.

Once clueless about finance, she’s now co to understand so basics.

With him teaching her, even the dullest things seed interesting to her.

Beside her was a cup of hot tea. Before, she also liked sitting at ho waiting for him, no matter how long it took.

The wind outside was strong, making the trees in the yard rustle and sway.

The weather forecast said it would rain at night and there’d be a slight drop in temperature.

Near Qingming, it always tends to rain more.

However, no matter how cold it got outside, the Cheney Residence was always warm.

The lights warmly illuminated the floor.

"Innovation is the soul of the product..." Jasmine Yale softly read the English from the copy, making notes on the blank docunt.

Sylvan Cheney had always told her that the first step to mastering a copy was to morize it well.

She rembered his words and always consciously morized the key points.

Regardless if it was for him or for herself, learning more was always beneficial.

She read a few more pages of the plan, and the living room door was pushed open.

Almost imdiately, Jasmine Yale looked up, her eyes sparkling: "You’re back!"

She jumped off the sofa and ran to his side in her slippers.

Since he just ca back from outside, Sylvan Cheney’s clothes and fingers were cold, so Jasmine Yale unconsciously wrapped her hands around his.

Her casual actions gave Sylvan Cheney an impulse, an impulse to pin her against the wall and kiss her deeply.

"That was quick. Did you speed again?" Jasmine Yale teased, bending to get him slippers.

Sylvan Cheney grabbed her arm and, with a swift turn, really pinned her against the wall, his tall body trapping her in front of him.

"Hey!" Jasmine Yale pressed her hands against his chest, having no idea how she’d wound him up again — as soon as he ca back, he acted as if he was unsatisfied.

His cold lips landed on her neck, his hoarse and repressed voice murmured slowly in her ear: "Don’t move... let kiss you for a bit."

The ticklish feeling he gave her made Jasmine Yale bargain: "Just one..."

"Yes."

Sylvan Cheney kissed her neck, enchanted by her fragrant scent.

His kiss was a bit cold, making Jasmine Yale shiver as if electricity coursed through her.

"Mmm..." Moved, she also wrapped her arms around his neck.

His kisses transitioned from her neck to her lips, gradually deepening.

Even though he only kissed her once, that one kiss was long and lingering.

After a long ti, Jasmine Yale stood on her tiptoes, breathless, weakly clinging to his neck, her eyes glistening: "That’s enough... let’s eat."
