The voice made imdiately angry and I frowned as I pulled my dick out of the red-haired vixen in front of , turned around and looked up just in ti to see Matthias, one of the bodyguards standing behind with his head bowed as he waited for my response.
’My response’ which was a strange concept seeing as I had nothing to say. In fact, my brain felt jamd, devoid of coherent thoughts as I stared straight at him.
"Alpha...?" He muttered with his head tilted to the side.
"Whose location has been found?" I hissed, blinking in annoyance when he took a step back. From the look on his face, it was quite obvious that he was taken aback by my question; But do I care?

"Who the fuck has been found?" I hissed again snappily, and this ti, he responded by lowering his head, his voice slightly shaky as he whispered;
"Her."
"Are you dumb?!" I didn’t intend to be so loud but the words had co out that way, resonating around the room with such tempo that even the vixen— whose na I couldn’t rember— scuttled off the bed, whilst wrapping the bedsheet around her body as she went.
"Whose presence or location is so important that you would barge in on at a ti like this?!" I growled, forgetting to add the rest of the sentence, which was:

He gulped and lowered his head one more ti, and I swear to the goddess, sothing about his overall overly timid nature riled up so much, I wanted to smack his face so hard that he’d lose a tooth or more.
I was however about to do that, seeing as he still hasn’t said a thing yet when suddenly, he took another step away from and muttered:

I froze.
"Huh?"
"Miss Leilani Sinclar’s location has been found and she is currently sowhere within the city."
While he spoke, I couldn’t help but notice the way he would turn to look at the red-haired girl as if half expecting her to crash out at the ntion of Leilani’s na.
She didn’t. If anything, she seed clueless.
No wonder he’s been refusing to talk about it in front of her...
"When?" I rasped, feeling my heart skip several beats in my chest. "How? Since when have you known about this?"
"Since five minutes ago." He answered quickly— a little too quickly. "I had to co in to tell you about it because you said to do that regardless of what you’re up to," he answered, and once again, I noticed how his eyes darted to the girl before coming to settle on . "That’s why I ca."
At the sound of his words, I smiled. Hell, I tried to keep that smile at bay but no matter how hard I tried, it was as good as impossible.
Just the re thought of having her around filled with so much glee, then there was the possibility that she could co back to now— to us— to beco Luna.

My eyes suddenly thinned as I turned to look at the girl who for so reason still hasn’t left the room, her wide eyes filled with apprehension as they darted between I and Matthias.
Seeing her now made annoyed for no reason and I found myself snapping at her even before I realized what I was doing.
I yelled; "Get out!"
For a second, she froze like a deer caught in the headlights before slowly turning away to pick up her discarded clothes from the floor.
"?" She whispered— more like shrieked.
"Yes, you!" I snapped in irritation, "we’re done here. Get out!"
And with that, she scurried out of the room like the devil was hot on her heels, her dainty feet hitting the ground with a soft pitpat sound as she went.
It wasn’t until she was fully gone that I allowed myself to heave out the sigh I had been holding ever since and then I turned to Matthias and hissed;
"Find out exactly where she is."
"I have." He answered without an ounce of hesitation.
"And where is that?" I snarled,
"At a hospital. A hospital in the middle of the city, built specifically for werewolves, witches, Lycans and vamp—"
"Saint Nyx?" I cut in quickly, interrupting him.
"Yes, Saint Nyx." He answered with a nod.
"Then get to Saint Nyx this instant!" I bellowed, throwing on my clothes with the speed of lightning before rushing out of the room like the devil himself was hot on my tails...
And to be very honest, I think he is.

At this point, I was practically living like a hobo in the pristine hospital halls while jerking awake at intervals to any sounds whatsover. I was restless beyond asure, and to top it all, there were still no news cornering Jarek yet or what other asures we could take to get him safe.
Because I have been living off these walls for so long, I was so tired, I could hardly keep my head up. In fact, I was already dozing off but snapped awake when Caelum ca to sit close to , the warmth of his skin seeping into my dress as he drawled;
"You ought to rest, Lani."
I turned to him... slowly, tilted my head to the side and smiled— one that didn’t quite reach my eyes— as I said; "I know and I will."
"When?"
"Soon." I answered again with a smile. "I’ll definitely go ho when I am certain that he is okay." And with conviction, I added: "...and I know he will be okay soon."
"Leilani, I understand where you are coming from but at the sa ti, I think—"
I kind of already knew what kind of he thoughts he had, and for that reason, I didn’t even give him the opportunity to say it before I rushed out;
"Please, Caelum, I know he will be fine."
Just as I said that, a young nurse with smooth almond face walked over to , a small smile plastered across her face as she bowed; "Miss Leilani, right?"
"Right." I answered with cocked eyebrows.
"Mr Frostclaw is awake."
