"Is this how you welco your alpha?" Darren asked. The people present looked at him like he had gone crazy. Since he reduced his aura they could not feel anything and thought him to still be the sa boy that they all knew.

"What right do have to co here and claim to be our alpha?" One of the pack mbers’ presents asked with arrogance. "You don’t have what it takes to be an alpha. Your scent and aura are even less than when you were a kid."

"We have an alpha and he is not you." Another pack mber said in arrogance that irked him to the bone. It took everything in Darren not to walk up to those two and strangle them to death.

"Why are you here, Darren?" An elder among the people asked.

Darren kept his silence as he watched the ever-changing expressions on the faces of the people. He knew his silence was annoying them but he couldn’t care less about how they felt. They deserve every bit of annoyance and punishnt that he will put them through.

"Speak, Darren. We don’t have a whole day to wait for you to open your mouth to say sothing." Soone whom Darren recognized said from the group.

"Did I ask anyone to co and wait for ?" Darren asked in a lazy tone as he lazily rested his back on the couch. "I ca ho to take what is rightfully mine and here you are trying to make a big deal out of it. tsk, tsk."

"There is nothing of yours here, Darren. You should leave." the sa man whom he recognized said.

"You said you have an alpha, right?" he asked and looked at them for a while. "Well then, call him out. Or is he too cowardly to show up when his position is threatened?" he asked again.

His question made them all frown and glare at him with murderous intent. "Who do you think you are, Darren? What makes you think that anyone here will be willing to follow you and acknowledge you as their alpha?"

Hearing that, Darren yawned out of boredom and looked at them with bored eyes and said, " Whoever refuses will die." he said and closed his eyes, not at all bothered about them. "And Seb," he called. "this is a warning to you and everyone else if you are wise, you will not do what you are thinking of doing."

His words angered them all and they thought of killing him at once. They still rembered their alpha and Luna and the way they died. They believed Darren had a hand in it as funny as that sounded he was the only one who was with them when they died and he disappeared right after the incident. How they wish he was also killed. But not every wish can co true so here they were.

"Will you call your ’Alpha’ or should I bring him out myself?" Darren asked as he opened his eyes and stared at the people once again.

"Go and get the alpha." The elder man told a guard who imdiately left to relay the ssage.

"Good. That’s more like it." Darren comnted.

The news of Darren’s return had traveled throughout the pack and more and more people were coming to the pack house to take a look at him for themselves. The number kept on increasing until the pack house was almost full but Darren did not give any face and kept his eyes closed as if there was no one else there with him.

Seeing his behavior, the more experienced people could feel sothing was up with him. He didn’t feel threatened even as there were so many people around him ready to attack him at any mont. They wondered what must have happened to change him so much and give him so much confidence.

"Your alpha isn’t taking seriously, maybe I should give him a reason to hurry up and co to ." He thought out loud. "Maybe I should...." he said, nodding his head at the idea.

He woke from the couch and scanned the room filled with people looking at him with disgust towards him. Before they could register what he was trying to do they found the man whom he recognized as Seb going through the wall of the pack house and breaking it with a loud thud.

"Gamma Sebastian!" the exclaid. They were so shocked they could not believe it. Was he the sa boy who was the only oga of the pack? Even now his aura and scent were still very small and almost unnoticeable, so how was that possible? They soon recovered from their shock and the guard stepped forward in front of everyone else. Just in case.

"Gamma? Hmm, I see. Not bad. Not bad at all." Darren comnted while dusting up his hands.

Sebastian finally recovered and stood up. He glared furiously at Darren for slamming him through the wall but even he couldn’t understand how Darren was able to move so fast and grab his neck that he couldn’t even react.

"Subdue him!" Sebastian commanded and the guards matched forward circling Darren ready to attack him from every possible side. Before they could launch an attack, they felt an outburst of a strong aura that subdued them all keeping them in their place.

Darren let go of the restraint on his aura as soon as he knew they were ready to attack him. He didn’t want to waste his precious energy fighting underlings when he was here for the big bad wolf. The alpha.

"Now, you should behave yourselves and don’t poke the wrong nerves again," he warned.

The whole pack felt his aura as it exploded and filled the entire pack house and licked beyond it. It terrified them. They have never seen or felt anything like it. Not even their alpha had such a strong aura around him. But then why were they not able to feel it before?

They looked at Darren like he so sort of monster. That thought brought back the mory of Darren’s father and now they agreed with him that indeed Darren was a monster.

Outside,

The mont Darren let out his aura, the alpha felt it and paused in his movents. He has heard that Darren is back and wants to take back the alpha position of his father and that he even looked weaker than when he was little. What he felt now was the exact opposite of what he was expecting. How could Darren release such an aura? He rushed to the pack house speedily followed by his beta.

He walked in and saw every mber of his pack had gathered at the park house but no one cared to make a move even after walking in they didn’t even greet him. They just stood there and were staring at a young man sitting comfortably and leisurely on the couch.

"Darren!" he called.

"You must be the alpha that they respect so much, Alpha Lucas. am I right, Lucas? Darren asked. The look on his face was stern. The carefree attitude from before was long gone as he rose and stared down at Lucas.

Lucas was eight years older than him and he was among those he hated the most in his childhood and he still hates him the sa right now as he looked at him.

Lucas could not believe that Darren was the man standing before him now and was the one who released the aura he felt earlier. "Just to be clear, Darren, why are you here?" Lucas asked using his alpha tone trying to dominate Darren.

"I am here to take back what is mine," Darren replied with an ice-cold tone, spreading his aura around making sure no one else interfered.
