At Coldshade City,
Crysta stared at Jarred with a look of disapproval on her face. The man had been insisting on letting everyone know that he was a witch and not the human they thought her to be, including the governnt.
It was absurd that he had to think of doing that when they both knew what would be at stake. It may not affect him directly but it would affect her. They had gone over and again dragging the sa topic but they were atoll standing on opposite lanes never agreeing.
"You will do no such thing, Jarred," She said with her hands on her hips.
"What are so afraid about?" He said also looking frustrated with the never-ending conversation. "Tell everyone and you wouldn’t have to hide anymore, you do what do best openly." He stated that it was the best idea ever proposed.
She glared hard at him and walked away, she had no more words for him. He had proven himself to be her enemy with this one conversation and she didn’t need to stay any longer to get more of this shitty stuff from him or the rest of the humans humans. "Are you coming back?" He asked like it was her duty to return there, to him.
She stopped in her movent but she did not turn to look at him. "No," Ca her firm reply and he chuckled and ran his fingers through just hair.
"You are angry now, darling, go out, calm down, and co back let’s discuss this properly." He said walking over to her and standing right behind her, h pi led up a strand of her hair and started playing with it when she gave him a hard glare.
"I am clear-headed, like you, I do t make decisions in haste, but I think them through." She said and the smile that was on Jarred’s lips faltered.
His face hardened and he let go of her hair. "You can go if you can leave this facility." He said and stepped away from her.
She clenched her fists and turned to face him fully. "And I will show that your little gizmos are nothing compared to real power." She turned around and walked away right after saying that.
Jarred imdiately took out his phone and made a call to the people stationed outside to stop her. "Don’t let her walk out of here," he ordered red before disconnecting the call. He turned on the screen to the security caras. He started at the one that capture and watched as she moved closer to the exit and was stopped.
He smiled. He had never seen her act or fight.
He had inky seen her do a few tricks which he noticed to be very easy for her. Seeing this made him feel thrilled. It was ti he saw the true power of a witch. Especially one who is to have the head of witches had she not been defeated by another. He folded his arms across gs chest with a remote to the caras in his hand, paying close attention to the screen.
Outside, Crysta stood surrounded by the many humans who have to stop her according to Jarred’s orders. "Miss Crysta, please go back inside, we do t want you." The head of the guard around the facility spoke but she feared at him and spoke no words to him neither did taking a step forward or backward. "Miss, Crysta..." He was about to ask her to return inside again when the ground opened and swallowed him whole and closed up again.
Everyone around was shocked to see this.
They never thought she was a nonhuman. She had been with them for so long that they didn’t doubt her as a human. They often thought her knowledge of humans to be from her last experience in their hands and her research on them. But seeing what she was capable of doing right was a great shock to them.
It didn’t take a second longer for them to aim their weapons at her and she chuckled. Humans were so predictable and disloyal. They will turn on you the mont you no longer share the sa view as them. They will only stand by you when you are of use to them, and share the sa interest as them, the mont they think or feel you are no longer on the sa page as them, they throw all of that away without thinking about the many ti you must have help and saved them. The mont they feel or think you are on a different side, they try to eliminate you as quickly as possible. How ridiculous was that?
"Step aside," She ordered but they matched forward coming at her. She sighed very tiredly and closed her eyes. She looked at it and turned to look at a cara that was behind her and smirked. She knew he was behind the screen watching her at this mont. She had seen him do it many tis before. "You asked for this Jarred," She said looking straight at the cara. Her green eyes edited a green glow and the whole facility began shaking and the ground began cracking.
Seeing what was happening, the mbers of the facility started to fire at her but every bullet or weapon used didn’t reach her and dissipated even before it could get close enough to harm her. She raised her right hand and smashed through the air and half of the facility started to crack and break until it all fell to the ground leaving the other half standing.
She then turned to the foolish humans who still surrounded her and a sadistic smile appeared on her and vines sprouted from the ground stabbing them to their deaths. After making sure that none of them were left alive, at least none of those who ca after she was left alive, she stepped over the dead bodies and crossed over the pool of blood that surrounded each body that now lay lifeless on the floor, making sure her heels didn’t step on any of it. The humans disgusted her and their blood even more so.
Shoe gave one last glance at the cara she was looking at early and disappeared into thin air as if telling him that he could hold her even if he had more power than his weak human army.
Back inside, Jared gritted his teeth and clenched his fist so hard that the remote on his hand was crushed and ruined, no longer of use. He had underestimated her and the power of the spell casters as they so call them. He had lost a good asset and she took his soldiers’ lives with her and on top of all that, she had cost him millions by destroying half of his facility.
He threw the shattered pieces of the right on the table and walked away. He had always made preparations and thought that they would be enough to deal with those creatures but who would have thought one which was capable of causing so much damage without even exhausting her strength? It was ti he made more preparations and strengthen the ones he had already made.
