In The Vampire Territory,
Cillia walked into the room where Dmurri was resting and found him sitting with his eyes closed and his head against the headboard. "You want to see ?" William asked and made her way towards the bed.
Dmitry opened his red eyes and stared at her, he made no movents but she felt he wanted her to move closer. She walked to the head of the bed and stood with her arms across her chest and raised a brow at him. "Sit," He said and patted the space next to him. "I have sothing to discuss with you."
Cillia looked at him with squinted eyes, but she’s at beside him on the bed. "What do want to talk about?" She asked also leaning against the headboard.
"The shifter training camp." He replied and she sighed already knowing where their conversation will be heading and who it was that had told him about it. "Cillia... ?"
’I know what you want to ask." She says cutting him off. "It has not been easy trying to track down the place and I am still on it."
"The witches?" He asked.
"They are orphans, " She stated. "They were not as promising as they are now when they were young, so no one paid any attention to them," Cillia said while trying to rember exactly how everything happened in the past. "They were neglected by the witches’ coven and were forced to fend for themselves at a tender age. Eventually, they both disappeared and no one sought for them. No one cared. I believe it was at that ti that the lycan t them. Outcasts coming together."
"Why didn’t you do sothing about it? They were witches nonetheless, as their leader, you should have done sothing about their condition." He said, not because he cared about whatever had happened to them but because of the outco of it now. If those two ’useless witches’ were taken care of by the coven, then they wouldn’t have been with the Lycan alpha and been a threat to them.
"I was not the coven head back then, Dmitri, there was nothing that I could do for them. When was just like everyone else." She argued.
"Alright, what has happened, has happened and there is nothing we can do about it now." He. Said and caressed the back of her palm. "Can you do anything about the barrier that Leroy spoke of?" He asked and she called at him.
"Do I look that weak that you think I can’t?" She asked with annoyance.
"Just to be sure... "
But before he could finish the bed caught on fire which nearly made him jump to his feet. "I dare you to say that I again."

In the Shadow Moon Pack,
As the days went by, the shifters went back to their daily endeavours but not forgetting to watch their backs as they went about their day knowing that they now had more than just the vampires and rogues to worry about but humans have also been included in the list now.
As they mingled with the humans, they tread carefully not to get spotted by suspicious-looking humans even though the one to die was not them, they still wanted their normal and peaceful life with the humans where they were oblivious of the nonhuman amongst them.
Even the vampires have beco more careful than before, trying as hard as they could to not drink blood from just anyone and anywhere. Unlike the witches who could easily blend in with the human because they were mostly human without their powers.
Darren sat with Kora sitting beside him while he went through so docunts in the bedroom. He didn’t want to keep her from waiting so he moved so of his work to their bedroom so she could sleep, but she did not and rather ca to sit with him.
"You should have so sleep, Kora, I will be there soon," He urged but she just stared at him and then shook her head.
"I am alright, I am waiting."She said and he signed before closing the file and picking her up from the couch.
"I think I am done now," He said while he walked to the bed with her in his arms. He gently dropped her on the bed and went into the bathroom for a shower after planting a soft kiss on her lips. "Sleep now, I’ll be back soon."
After Darren left, Kora tucked herself under the head covers but after a minute passed, she began to feel hot. She quickly moved yh covers off her and lay like that on the bed but the heat did not go away, rather it only intensified. She started to feel uncomfortable. She felt like taking off her clothes and she did without delay but nothing seem to work.
She started feeling as if soone was pinching her from underneath her skin. The room that was originally cold beca suffocating for her. ’Go to our mate, he can help us.’ Gaia said and Kora did not understand what she ant but she dashed into the bathroom, she needed to pour so water on her body to try to reduce the heat.
Darren who was now naked in the bathroom with the shower pouring over him was surprised to see in there. He was about to smile when he saw that sothing was wrong with her. He walked over to her imdiately leaving the shower running and place his one hand on her waist and the other on her forehead trying to figure out what was wrong. "What’s wrong?" with worry laced in his voice.
The mont he touched her, Korafekt the heat leave the spot he touched and she leaned in and closer to his palms that held her. He pulled his hand from her forehead and she growled at him for faking his hand away which shocked Darren a bit. Her skin felt fine to his touch and he couldn’t tell what was wrong but for her to growl at him, it was both a shock and a surprise, that he didn’t hate. "Kora, talk to ." He cajoled her.
"Hot." She said and wrapped her hands around his waist trying to him as much as possible because she didn’t feel that much heat they made body contact. "Very hot."
Darren frowned when he heard her words, the temperature of their room was normal if not considered cold, so what heat was she talking about? But then he rembered sothing and to confirm it, he turned to look outside the window and it was as he thought.
