Sofia’s POV
When we got to the north wing and we stood in front of the my forr room.
I looked back at the Bia then at Mia. I opened it then I walked in and they followed
"Close the door," I said and they did.
The room was quiet for a while then Bia spoke.
"Miss Sofia, Where are the dress you need us to help carry."
"I saw the way you two acting during the eting." I said without turning to look at them.
I heard them both gasp softly behind .
"You looked guilty. Very guilty and I think I know why.
"We didn’t..." Mia started, but I cut her off.
"Don’t lie to ,. You both shouldn’t dare to lie cause you what I capable of right? " I said, my voice was still seeet but serious.
"I’m giving you a chance here. The quadruplets are going to get to the truth eventually so you might as well just tell now so that I can help you. You know I’m the wuadruolatas precious girt and they’ll listen to . Or do you want to be executed and publicly disgraced?" I said.
I turned around and looked at them and they still wouldn’t budge. I saw it in their eyes that they didn’t want to admit it so I had to make them scared.
"I could literally go Back there and tell Damian that you weren’t anywhere close to and that you could be the potential killers don do you know what her do? I asked and they nodded at the sa ti.
"They’re going to believe because, I’m their Golden girl and they love so much. Anything u say us what they do." I said to them
The twins looked at each other with tears forming in their eyes. They were shaking now, both of them. Their faces had gone pale as death.
"So tell , what did you do?" I asked as I walked closer to them.
Mia started crying softly. Bia put her arm around her sister, but she was shaking too. Her lip trembled as she tried to speak.
"We did it. We... we tried to kill Heaven." Bia whispered.
I kept my face neutral as I tried to hide the satisfaction that was bubbling inside . "Go on."
"It’s because of what she did to our brother. It was because of her that little neither is no longer here so I thought that we would kill her"
"Our brother was everything to us. He raised us after our parents died. He was all we had. And she took him from us. She deserved to die for what she did and you know it Miss Sofia."
I rolled my eyes but I didn’t let them see it. Foolish girls that have been believing for years now. When in truth, I was the one reapinsibel for his death.
I had punished Heaven to starve for day without food or water and their foolish brother had decided to feed her secretly. So I had him beheaded for going against my will.
And now Heaven was paying for it. I couldn’t help but smile in my mind.
I nodded slowly, as if I as agreeing with them "okay, I know what she did to your brother but Where did you get the curse? The moonbane venom? That’s not easy to find."
The twins exchanged a terrified look. Their crying stopped for a mont, replaced by
Fear.
"We... we can’t say. They made us promise." Bia whispered.
"Who?" I pressed further. "Who gave you the curse?"
"We can’t tell you," Mia said, her voice shaking. "They have our grandma, our only family left. They’re holding them sowhere. If we tell anyone, they’ll kill her. They said they have eyes everywhere. They’ll know if we talk."
"These people," I said carefully, "they forced you to do this?"
So you an to tell that these people could we you to do this?" I asked confused that any other person would want to hurt Heaven asded from .
Bia nodded miserably. "Yes! We received a letter weeks ago but we thought it was just a prank so we didn’t listen.
"Then a masked male camr to us in the kitchen just days ago and he had a knife to my throughly aging that I should do what the letter said or that I amd my grandma would I’ll be dead." Mia said.
"They knew about our brother. They knew how much we hated Heaven and I don’t know how but they knew.. They said they could help us get revenge. They gave us the curse and told us exactly how to use them," Bia continued. She had her head down.
"We didn’t have a choice so we did it as justice for our brother and also to save our harassnt," Mia said with pity eyes.
"Well," I said finally, letting out a heavy sigh.
"I should go tell the quadruplets what you’ve told . They need to know who tried to kill their mate."I tools a deep sigh. MI was acting like I care when I damn knew that I didn’t give a damn
The twins faces turned to horror. They looked at like I had just sentenced them to death.
"Miss Heaven please you can’t do that. We did this for you too. So that she would be gone and you would have the quadruplets all to yourself," Bia hurriedly said.
I snapped my head to the side to look at the fool that just said that.
I looked her intensel then walked towards her and stood in front. My face was just inches away from kissing her.
"What did you just say?" I asked .
Bia couldn’t read the room. "Miss Sofia I was saying that I did it fo..."
I didn’t let her fisnish her sentence. I grabbed her neck imdiately and sweeter it tight. She was piting and I hated being pitied.
"How dare you pity ?" I groaned.
She struggled to fight and hitting my hand but I was stronger than her. I was a Beta’s daughter and she was just an ordinary Oga so she couldn’t win against .
"Miss Sofia, please forgive my sister. Please let her go," Mia begged
I eventually let go of her neck. Bia stumbled back as she held her neck and tried to breath. Mia held her close to her.
"Don’t you dare to pity again. Do you understand?" I shouted
"Yes, yes. We understand, Bia said in between trying to breath.
"I’ll go tell go let the quadruplets know who tried to kill a Heaven," I said.
Bia and Mia were being rude and they had the guts to pity because I wasn’t the quadruplets mate. So maybe I really wanted them dead now.
"No!" Mia cried, lurching forward to grab my arm. "Please, Miss Sofia! Don’t tell them! They’ll execute us!"
"Please! We didn’t want to do it! We were forced! You have to believe us!" Bia begged as she fell to her knees
"You said you would help us!" Mia sobbed. "You said you would protect us! Please, we don’t want to die! We don’t want to be beheaded like our brother!"
Both sisters were on their knees now, crying and begging. Their palms were together and they were shaking in fear.
"Please save us. We’ll do anything. Anything you ask. Just don’t let them kill us." Bia said as tears were now running down their cheeks
I looked down at them for a long mont, and that was why I wanted. I wanted them to be vulnerable.
Then I slowly knelt down to their level, my face softening into a warm, kind smile.
"Alright then. I’ll save you," I said with a smile on my face
They looked up at . "You will?" Mia whispered.
"Yes," I said. "I’ll make sure nothing happens to you. The Alphas won’t execute you. I promise."
"Thank you," Bia breathed. "Thank you so much, Miss Sofia. We’ll never forget this. We’ll do anything to repay you."
I reached out and patted their hands, my touch gentle and reassuring.
"But there is one condition." I said.
As they tensed up as they waited to hear what I was going to say.
"As long as you keep your mouth shut and do what i ask of you then, I won’t say a thing," I said.
The twins nodded frantically. "We won’t say anything, We’ll never tell anyone. We swear." They said at the sa ti.
"Good," I said turning my back to them and then looking towards the mirror of the dresser.
As I watched them wipe their faces and struggle to their feet, I felt deep satisfaction.
Now that I had their secret, I could use them as I wish and he would have no choice but to obey .
"You may go now," I said hoping that they would keep their mouth shut and not confess.
They turned to leave. They opened the door but the froze. Soone was standing right at the door as if they were trying to listen to out conversation
