Heaven’s POV
We were on our way to my room. Mrs Higgins held my hand while Becca was by my side.
I am so grateful for having them with . My neck was still hurting and I felt like fainted but Mrs Higgins supported my balance.
We were halfway through the east wing when Sofia called from behind us.
"Heaven, wait!"
I stopped walking and turned around to see Sofia walking towards us, still wearing the white dress, just to mock . She had that sa evil smile she always had when she was about to do sothing really bad.
She ca towards us until she was standing in front of us blocking our path.
"Go get tea imdiately," Sofia said sweetly.
Mrs. Higgins got irritated. She drew closer, like she was protecting from a vicious lion.
"She’s not going anywhere, and she needs to get ready for her weddi..."
"Do I look like I care about whatever she needs? Besides, you need to learn to mind your business, you old hag," Sofia cut her off.
My fingers curled into a fist and my nails dug into my palms. Mrs. Higgins didn’t deserve to be insulted because of . She didn’t deserve to be treated like this by Sofia.
Becca suddenly stepped in with a bright smile. "I’ll get it, Miss," she said quickly, trying not to escalate the matter. "How would you like your tea?"
Sofia turned her head towards Becca in disgust and her evil smile disappeared. She looked like she was about to slap the life out of Becca.
"And who the hell are you?" she asked.
"I’m Becca, the Luna Heaven’s handmaiden."
Sofia head fell to the back as she laughed mockingly. She laughed so hard that she almost began to cough. It was the kind of laugh you hear when soone says that pigs can fly.
Becca turned to look at . She was completely confused.
"Did you just call her Luna?" Sofia said, pointing at .
Then stepped closer to better. "Luna my foot."
Becca took a step back. She felt intimidated. I’m sure she felt small. That was the exact sa way I have been feeling for the past five years anyti Sofia confronts .
"You must be new. Otherwise, you would have known to never call this thing a Luna." Sofia said
Sofia was trying to do to Becca what have been doing to . She wanted to destroy her just like she did to . I should have defended Becca, but I couldn’t say anything. I couldn’t even defend myself.
"Today is your lucky day, or I would have had you killed for not minding your fucking business," Sofia said quietly.
She would have really done it. Sofia was a very dangerous person. As long as she had the quadruplets, my mates, by her side, she would always have her way. They would always do what she ask , even if it was killing an innocent person as long as she was happy.
I knew this because it had happened before.
Two years, I wasn’t given food for twenty day as punished. An oga male had offered food out of pity. Sofia found out and told the quadruplets to punish the oga.
The oga was then killed. His head was cut off in front of the entire pack. It was the most terrible thing I had witnessed after my parent’s death.
Becca’s face turned pale. Her smile had disappeared, she was really terrified.
Sofia turned back to . She shifted back into her evil sweet smile. "Now, heaven, go get my tea. You rember how I like it, right?"
I slowly nodded, how can I forget how to make it when I’ve made her tea every day for the past five days.
"Good girl," Sofia purred. "I’ll be waiting in the Alpha’s chamber"
What! She was going on the their chambers in less than two hours after our marriage.
This was supposed to be my wedding night and she was ruining it for , like she always do.
I was about to leave when Mrs. Higgins pulled closer and grabbed my arm tight. "She’s not going anywhere. Now move, evil girl."
"Go get it, heaven."
The command ca from behind us. I already knew who it was, but I wanted to confirm, so I turned and saw the quadruplet standing there. It was Damon that spoke. He had his hands in his pockets as he looked at .
I was so embarrassed. He heard everything Sofia had said to . They heard that she ordered around like a servant and they are allowing it.
"B...But she just got married to all four of you," Mrs Higgins said in shock.
"So what, did we cut off her hand in the process?" Dylan said
"At least, let her freshen up and take off her wedding gown. Can’t you show her just the least amount of respect." Mrs Higgins said.
"No," Damon said.
I looked at each one of them, trying to see if I would find any sign of softness or guilt, not defending , but I didn’t find anything. It was like they didn’t know at all, it was like I wasn’t even their mate, like they didn’t just claim and mark just hours ago.
They were the sa n who told that they liked and wanted to be their mate and wanted to get married to .
Now that all their childhood wishes had co true they turn their back on because of my father sins.
"No no no, this is so unfair", Mrs Higgins cried out. "Don’t you have a conscience? She’s your ma..."
I touched Mrs. Higgins arm, signaling her to stop. I shook my head gently, trying to tell her that I was already used to being treated like this. I knew that fighting would only make things worse and get punished.
"You rember how I take my tea, right?"Sofia asked quietly.
I nodded looking away from her.
"That’s good," Sofia said turning towards the quadruplets.
"I’ll be waiting in there with them,"
she pointed towards their chamber, making sure that I saw exactly where she would be.
She walked past and intentionally pushed my shoulders.
She went towards the quadruplets. Damon put his arm around her waist possessively, and she giggled, leaning closer to him. It looked like it was their wedding night and not mine.
My heart shattered into pieces, and it ached really bad.
I took a deep breath, trying to act normal. I didn’t want them to see how much they hurt . I couldn’t give them the satisfaction.
I walked past the quadruplets. A tear was trying to drop but I stopped it.
I hoped that at least one of them would stop , but they didn’t even look at , not even once.
