anwhile, outside the warzone, the real world, sothing unnatural had taken root in the skies.

The entire Arsalan Province—Leo’s city—was suddenly surrounded by an unnatural phenonon.

A massive tornado had appeared out of nowhere, and the once-clear night sky turned ominously cloudy. The winds howled violently as clouds roared above, heavy and dark. Thunder cracked across the sky, shaking windows and echoing through the silence like a divine warning.

It was midnight. The city was asleep. People lay in their beds, peacefully dreaming, unaware of the chaos stirring outside.

But sothing was wrong.

Terribly wrong.

This wasn’t just a single tornado.

No... as if summoned by so will, multiple cyclones had erupted across the province, surrounding Arsalan from every direction. Dozens, if not hundreds, spinning furiously—yet unnaturally still—as if forming a barrier.

A wall... A cage?

A long, cloaked figure stood just outside the outer edge of the province, facing the wall of spinning air. The tornadoes hissed and whipped around furiously... The figure couldn’t enter.

The wind, instead of letting them pass, twisted and struck back, repelling even the slightest step.

The person stepped forward, but,

THUNDER!!

Another bolt cracked the sky—lighting everything in white for a fraction of a second.

The figure didn’t flinch.

This was deliberate.

Soone... or sothing... was doing this on purpose.

But by whom?

"Tsk," the figure hissed under their breath, eyes narrowing in frustration.

Back inside the Maze,

Leo and Pride, after a few shared chuckles and teasing words about Ophis’s earlier blunder, continued walking. Leo pushed his thoughts about what happened and focused on the mission he had.

"We’ve been here for what... a few hours now?" Leo grumbled, shoulders slouched. "And still nothing. Just walls. Turns. And more damn walls. And we still haven’t found a single thing. This place just keeps turning... and turning... endlessly."

His voice held a rising edge of frustration. He turned toward Pride, frowning. "What happens if we don’t reach the relic before the tir runs out? We die? The place explodes?"

Pride shrugged lightly, looking forward. "Not sure, but one thing I’m sure when won’t die even if the ti runs out"

So the Place might explode then?

Leo let out a slow sigh, his voice low. "That’s not comforting."

They kept walking, this ti more carefully, stepping only on the smooth stones, avoiding anything that looked out of place.

Then Leo stopped dead in his tracks.

"What the fuck...?"

Pride turned to look—and instantly recoiled.

Before them was a corpse.

But not just any corpse.

Before them lay a body—no, what remained of a body.

A woman’s corpse.

It’s entire torso had been torn open. There was barely anything left inside. It’s blood had long since dried.

The body was slumped forward, crumpled like a broken doll. There was no face—just a smooth, wet mass where eyes, nose, and lips should have been. The flesh had been peeled, ripped, chewed even.

As if sothing had eaten it.

The chest had been opened entirely—ribs cracked and snapped outward like a flower of bones. Inside, there was... nothing.

No heart.

No lungs.

No intestines.

No blood.

Leo stepped back, hand over his mouth.

"E.. this is madness," he muttered.

His voice trembled.

He stared at the thing that used to be a person. The way it was gutted like a wild animal. The sll hit next—a rotting, sour stench that burned his nose and curled his stomach. He gagged.

Then he saw it—

A long strands of red hair, now soaked in filth and blood.

A woman.

He turned pale.

"Who the hell would do sothing this disgusting?" he muttered, his voice shaky.

He brought a hand to his lips, trying to fight the wave of nausea rising in his stomach. The stench was overwhelming. The corpse looked like it had suffered horribly. His chest tightened with dread.

SHIT!!

Pride crouched beside the body, her face serious. She examined the ground carefully and spotted a few drops of thick, black, sticky fluid trailing away from the corpse. Her brows furrowed.

’I’ve seen this before... or at least sothing close to it...’ she thought, her eyes narrowing.

"It could be either the Master of Lust," she said slowly, voice low, "or... Sloth."

Leo swallowed hard.

Valra.

His stomach dropped. His eyes widened in panic.

If this happened to so random girl... what about Valra?

A cold fear raced through him. He clenched his fists.

No ti.

No ti to waste!

He had to find her—now.

Whatever the monster was—it didn’t matter. Valra mattered.

"Co on!" Leo shouted, urgency in every word. "We have to find Valra. Fast!"

He rushed ahead, his feet pounding the ground as he glanced one last ti at the faceless corpse. His heart ached. Whoever it was... they didn’t deserve to die like this.

’May you rest in peace,’ he thought silently, jaw tight as he moved forward.

Pride gave one last glance at the black substance, frowning deeper. Her instincts were screaming, but she said nothing and followed Leo quickly.

The two began running through the Maze, side by side, navigating its cruel traps and shifting corridors. They had no ti to waste. Every second could be the difference between life and death.

Then...

"KYYYAAAA!!!!"

A sudden high-pitched scream echoed from above.

Leo skidded to a stop and looked up, eyes narrowing.

"Huh?"

Sothing was falling.

Fast.

Purple striped panties.

That’s all he saw before—

THUD!!

"ARRRGHH!!"

Once again...

Soone crashed directly on top of him.

He hit the floor on his back with a loud grunt, the wind knocked from his lungs. This wasn’t just another random fall—whoever this was, they were heavier than last ti.

Sothing soft was pressing down on his face.

And not just soft—unreasonably soft.

"Wh-Why... why does everyone keep falling on ...?" he wheezed, his voice muffled under the thick, warm softness pressing into him.

His face was smothered in what felt like two heavy, marshmallow-like cushions. Smooth. Warm. Pressing tightly.

He blinked.

He couldn’t see.

He couldn’t breathe.

His hands twitched, trying to push whatever it was away—but it was just too soft. His fingers sank into the surface.

Then—

"Nng~"

A moan.

A soft, almost whispering moan, right above him.

Leo’s whole body froze.

’Wait... is that what I think it is on my face?!’

He blinked rapidly, still unable to see, still buried in softness.

And as the fog in his mind cleared, the last thing he registered was a glimpse of—purple striped panties.
