The Wild Boss [Naga] has gone berserk!
Attack power 10%! Defenses 10%!
"Wha..what the, double berserk?!"
The Fla Rose Guild had skillfully grinded down the health of the Wild Boss, but just when they thought it's finally on its last legs. A huge change suddenly occurred that took everyone by surprise!
The Naga let out a high pitched scream, and its body started to slowly enlarge as it gained more muscle mass!
From its original height of five ters, it grew by an additional one ter!
"Stand your ground! Ready yourselves, it's coming!" Maverick yelled as he imdiately employed multiple buffs on himself and with his yell, everyone around him quickly regained their focus as they also followed suit.
While also taking advantage of the ti that the Wild Boss is undergoing its second berserk state, the players quickly organize themselves in favorable positions, especially the frontline players encircling the Wild Boss, every single one downed potions to replenish their sparse reserves.
In a hidden corner of the battlefield, a small group of knights is watching the battle from a small cliff, hidden behind the trees, and from there, they were able to have a wide range of view over the battlefield, but would make the people below impossible to spot them.
"Are we not gonna lend them a hand, General?" a Knight stood a step behind a brawny looking old man and carefully asked him.
The old general looked at the battlefield with a focused gaze while answering, "No, I want to see if there's at least one Guild that can carry their weight around. I don't like carrying luggages whose only use is to beco a cannon fodder"
"After all, our enemies this ti are no ordinary monsters and we need all capable hands we can get, even if it ant that we also had to rely on our long-ti enemies. Besides, a few of the elites in that guild haven't even taken action yet. It shows confidence on their side and if they do manage to take it down with minimal losses, then we can entrust more things for them to do" the old general continued while watching the battlefield and occasionally looking over at the people on the hill in the distance, his eyes flashing with a colored hue, a telltale sign that he's making use of so kind of spell.

The knight beside him wanted to say sothing, but decided to shut his mouth in the end. Though his eyes were imdiately distracted by sothing from the corner of his eyes and slowly looked up.
"That bird has been circling around us for a while now. Does soone among those people own it? That would an they already know we're here" the knight beside the general murmured while looking at the small dot circling in the sky above the battlefield.
"A Great Eagle, that's not sothing you see everyday. It seems like there's a pretty skilled Ranger among them" the old man said after squinting his eyes and taking a good look at the creature flying in the sky above.
The knights who heard him exchange glances and everyone only had one thought in their mind, 'His eyes still haven't faltered even at his age huh? What a tenacious old man, he truly deserves being the most accomplished general in the kingdom'
On the other hand,
"Are they still there?" Minerva asked.
"Yeah, it seems they're intent on watching us," Storm Moonlight replied while she was making use of a skill that allows her to access what her bird sees.
"Let them watch then"
On the battlefield.
Skryaaaah!
The Naga raised its trident and attacked the players around it in a sweeping attack!
"Ahhh!"
The players within the range of the attack scread as they were flung away and just the wind generated from its swing made the players on the edge of the AOE stumble backwards.
"Goddammit, hold the line!" Maverick yelled through the guild channel with gritted teeth as he stopped the Naga's attack from advancing any further with his shield and his whole weight behind him!
Heavy Slam!
The Naga stared down at the human who had been thwarting him since the beginning. Its eyes released a cold glow, it quickly pulled its trident back up in the air and swung it down once again, this ti with more force behind it!
Rock Solid!
Maverick quickly grabbed his shield with both hands, ready to take the blow!
Bang!
The reverberating sound of a tal clashing against each other rang out as dust billowed around them.
"Graaahh!"
Maverick had taken a knee from the impact and caused a small crater around him, he yelled and exerted every force his body could produce as the veins on the surface of his skin started swelling from his exertion.
The Health Bar on top of him had already started blinking, he had barely survived with a miniscule health left.
It was a miracle since the healers in the guild weren't able to react in ti as the Naga's attack had happened too fast. Too fast that Maverick was the only one who had anticipated it since he had been the one in the receiving end of most of the monster's attack and was able to quickly guess its intention.
Healing Light!
"M-Mav! Hang on!" Miya, his cousin and the one who have been leading the Healers in the guild couldn't help but yell in fright when she saw his precarious situation and imdiately threw a healing spell towards him.
There was a mont of silence on the battlefield because of the scene before them, but the onslaught quickly resud on Miya's yell as the healers once again brought their Tank back to life and the rest continued their assault on the monster.
But this ti, sothing not part of the plan is taking place.
"He was just a shy away from having a full health, now he's just a shy away from getting killed. That Boss had almost taken him out in a single blow, are you sure that we continue to remain watching? It's clear as day that the monster isn't just an ordinary Wild Boss at this point" Ripley said with so impatience in her voice.
Even the Wizards attacks are proving futile since their most prided spell is still on a long cooldown and that the spells they were able to use for the ti being are the Basic and Interdiate spells like Fireball, Rock Bullet etc.
"It's healing" Storm Moonlight added, not only her but the others also saw that there was suddenly an increase in the health recovery of the monster.
"Sh*t" Minerva muttered under her breath before giving Ripley a reply, "Not yet, Maverick is still holding on. They need to take down the Boss by themselves, and only then will our value rise in the eye's of that old man"
From the start, Minerva had already figured out the purpose of the old general when she heard about them spying at them from a distance.
Ripley looked at her from the corner of her eye and saw the varying degrees of expression on the woman's face and thought, 'It's clear that she's agitated at this point. The more we remain here, the more her guild is in danger from being wiped out. Is she that confident in them or do they have a trump card that we haven't seen so far?'
