"Dude! What took you so long?!"
Dylan looked over and when he saw Michael, he imdiately got up from the sofa and walked towards him with a huge smile on his face and exchanged a bro hug with his best friend.
"I arrived on ti though"
"Yeah, I'm just ssing with you"
Michael let out a chuckle, then turned his attention to the two won in the living room and said, "How have you two been doing lately?"
"We're doing good, we were just talking about the recent rger of our two guilds" Allison smiled while Athena nodded, which was followed by her saying, "Anyway, it has been a while since you've visited. It must be very important that you ca on a short notice. Maybe you can enlighten us while Mom is finishing up with the dishes?"
Her eyes were twinkling while staring at Michael, she had been feeling extrely curious when she heard that Michael would be joining them for dinner tonight and bringing with him sothing very important to talk about with her brother and his girlfriend.
Michael first looked at Dylan, who seed eager to know about it too, but Michael didn't want to talk about business right now so he just flatly refused and said, "I'll tell you guys later after we're done with dinner. Anyway, Miss A, do you need a hand?!"
Successfully deflecting the question, he imdiately walked towards the back of the house, ignoring the scowling Athena on the sofa while Dylan and Allison exchanged a look as the forr shrugged his shoulders since he also doesn't have any idea on what's going on with his friend.
'Don't look at . I don't have any clue'
"That slls delicious! It's been a while since I've tasted your cooking, Mrs. A" Arriving at the kitchen in the back of the house, Michael was imdiately hit with a whiff of the tantalizing sll that Adalind is cooking and he couldn't help but sniff the air a couple of tis as he wanted to savor the sll, making his stomach rumble.
While Michael is helping out Adalind finish, the three people back in the living room are currently discussing Michael.
"Hey, do you think he had gotten or found out sothing very important in the ga?" Athena inquired at the other two in the room, alternately looking at them.
Dylan just shook his head and replied, "He would have told if it was anything about the ga"
"But you told us he ntioned Allison preferably being present tonight" Athena argued while suddenly hugging Allison.
"Well, I don't know. Let's just wait after dinner like he said. It's not like he's going to run away from us" Dylan didn't want to bother anymore and just shrugged his shoulders and left them for the dining room and wanted to prepare the table for the feast.
On the other hand, Athena slowly broke the hug and looked at Allison and repeated the sa question she threw to her brother.
"What do you think, any ideas? I'm really curious and I just want to scratch this itch!"
Allison can only shrug her shoulders at her curiosity and said, "I also have no idea, so it's useless asking "
"Maybe it's about money or maybe a business venture? Since my brother is no longer tight on money, it's not impossible" Athena was so persistent that she started laying down her own assumptions and Allison could only smile and listen to her, feeling helpless inside.
'What's suddenly her deal? I've never seen her act this way before' Allison can only feel confused seeing Athena's behavior, but it never once crossed her mind that the young teen before her is just having an unrequited love and was a little excited about his visit.
It was only after almost two hours later that Athena finally got her answer.
"What?! You're giving out noble titles?! That's…insane!"
Hearing the news from Michael, Athena couldn't help but feel excited!
It wasn't just her, Allison and Dylan were also feeling it, especially the forr since they would be able to do a lot of things they weren't able to do before if they managed to acquire a noble title, though the downsides would still be apparent since it ca from a small territory.
But from the eyes of a businesswoman, she knows the benefits would outweigh the disadvantages it brings.
"Aside from us, who else knows about this?" knowing that this news wasn't just for them, Allison still couldn't help but ask since she needs to find out who their competitions are.
Michael looked at her and replied, "Currently your guild, and if Amanda had given the news to Jenny by now, then War Angel too"
"The two of us discussed giving the two Baronet titles to your Fla Rose Guild and War Angel since you two are our closest allies right now. On the other hand, the Knight titles would be auctioned to the highest bidders, preferably to players with lifestyle professions" he continued.
Dylan interjected as he was curious about one thing, "Wouldn't it be better to just distribute them to your guild mbers instead of auctioning them out to outsiders?"
Turning to his friend, Michael said, "I didn't think about that, but knowing them, they probably wouldn't even look at it since one of them is already a Knight and she's still unsatisfied by it"
"Still, that's great news" Athena softly muttered while pondering deeply about sothing in her mind.
"Anyway, how's the quest for the Main Quest going?" Now that whatever he wanted to say is out of the way, Michael finally had the chance to ask them about their current endeavors in the ga.
"We're still preparing and we're also waiting for Ripley and Storm Moonlight from your guild to arrive since they were the only ones who were interested in joining us, but we'd probably move out tomorrow at the latest" Allison replied while she was busy constructing a ssage on her phone with contents about what Michael had just told them.
She would probably have to dispatch a separate team to Snow Village once she's back in the ga, though the chances she'd lead it are slim.
'Hmm…I guess, I'll give either give this opportunity to Maverick or Miya, but I'll have to ask them if they're interested'
