"Hey~ what are you doing here, Mike?"
The front door opened wide, revealing Jen who was looking at Michael with a little confusion in her eyes, probably because she's not expecting him to drop by this ti of the day.
"Is that Mike?!"
Before Michael can even answer her, Amanda's voice suddenly sounded from sowhere inside the house, shouting.
"Yeah! I don't know why he's here though, did you call him to co over?!" Jen yelled back while she slightly turned her head sideways, but her eyes never left him.
"No! But aren't you going to let him in?!"
"Sorry about that, it just baffled a little since we were just talking about you"
Jenny didn't answer back and instead looked at Michael for a mont before she gestured for him to co inside, and Michael had a sorry look on his face and gave her a not so smile you give to soone when you have inconvenienced them.
"Sorry for suddenly dropping by without notice" Michael said as he set foot inside.
"It's okay, it's nothing to worry about" Jen answered as she made her way towards the kitchen with Micheal just following behind her.
"Hey babe, why are you here?"
When the two arrived at the kitchen, Michael saw his girlfriend putting sothing inside the oven, who only then turned her attention to them after.
"I was on a jog and decided to drop by and see if you have already told Jen what we discussed earlier" Michael replied and casually grabbed a glass of cold water from the refrigerator like he was in his own ho.
"What thing?"
Jen looked at Michael then at Amanda, her gaze filled with inquiry to the subject that Michael was talking about.
"I was supposed to talk about it with her over dinner" Amanda calmly replied while taking her apron off and placing it over on a nearby chair.
"Okay, I'm leaving now since I just dropped by to check on you two"
"Ohh sure, be careful on the road"
"I will, see you later Jen"
Michael said and gave Amanda a quick peck on her lips and after saying his goodbye to Jen, he quickly made his exit.
Jen didn't say anything until Michael left, "So, what's this thing that Michael had ntioned earlier? It look kind of important for him to suddenly drop by like this"
"Michael is planning to develop his village.
So he's planning to distribute so nobility titles to attract players into his land, but of course, it will only be possible later since access to Neverwinter is still blocked due to the stalemate between the Monster Horde and the Kingdom Alliance" Amanda replied, she tried to sound nonchalant, but the smile on her face can't hide the expressed anticipation of seeing her friend's reaction after listening to her words.
"W-what?! Is that true?! That's aweso news if it is!"
There was a short silence, but when Jen finally registered her friend's words, she exclaid in shock, her eyes sparkling!
"But what to do? My shoulders are really hurting right now~"
"Leave it to , bestie! I'm really good at giving massages!"
Satisfied at seeing her friend's reaction, Amanda grinned, but as she was about to break the news to her, she suddenly thought of wanting to take advantage of this, and Jen, who had been eager to acquire a Noble Title lately, had quickly gotten the hint and imdiately complied with a huge smile on her face.
"So how will players get this nobility title~?"
"Well.."
On the other hand, Michael had imdiately resud his jog after leaving Jen's place and made a turn towards a small road that leads towards the forested area situated beside the subdivision.
"I wonder how those two are doing after starting a civil unrest to erupt in a country?"
While on the run and greeting the neighbors he t along the path, and ahead of him, Michael imdiately spotted one of the many "television" scattered around the country and saw the news being broadcasted and it imdiately reminded him of the two people who ignited the civil unrest in that country because of their ddling and couldn't help but chuckle out of amusent.
"Though they're lucky that it didn't erupt into an all out civil war or those two would certainly get swept in it due to their involvent" he muttered under his breath, Michael hadn't forgotten the rules for people like them in this career are prohibited from certain actions that would lead into a civil war since it would cause a huge disruption on the jobs of the local "contractors" and would result in hostilities.
"Those people are quite amazing though, they must have planned this coup for a very long ti. The opposition didn't even see it coming and they were imdiately removed in a snap of a finger"
Michael slowly ca into a halt beside a stream and enjoyed the cold breeze, then continued on his way after a short mont of rest.
"Hey neighbor! I see that you're out jogging everyday, you must be pretty fit"
Suddenly, another jogger appeared beside him, Michael just gave the person a side eye, and being polite as he is, he smiled and replied, "Yeah, and you are?"
The person smiled at him while keeping up with his pace, "Elisha, I always see you taking a jog here and decided to introduce myself. I hope I'm intruding into your space"
Michael smiled politely and said, "It's fine, can I help you with anything?"
Elisha glanced at him and thought to herself, 'Is he serious? A beautiful woman is approaching him and that's what he throws at her?'
"Nothing in particular, just trying to get acquainted" the woman smiled even though she was a little frustrated inside.
"Oh~ I see, I'm Michael and it hasn't been that long since I moved here" Michael replied as he really didn't mind the woman. He wasn't thick skinned, he knows the reason why she approached him.
'This would have been a great occasion if I was still single'
