"Huff! Huff!"
The party of five finally stopped in their tracks and started catching their breaths.
"Our turn is coming close, are we still going to that dungeon or should we call it a day?" Gojojo asked his companions in between breaths and inside, he also was relieved that the werewolves this ti didn't chase after them unlike the ones they encountered during their earlier hunt.
Cereal Killer looked at the ti then turned his attention towards their EXP bars before saying, "I think we have collected enough EXP points just enough for us to level up after we have successfully raided the dungeon"
"You're the most experienced with that place, so we'll follow your lead this ti"
"Right, this will be our first ti doing it, so we'll be depending on you!"
[Gojojo has transferred the party leadership to Cereal Killer]
[You have beco the party leader]
With the agreent of all the mbers, Gojojo transferred the leadership to Cereal Killer.
"Thanks!" Cereal Killer answered with a smile, understanding why they did that.
'Guilds are really stingy with Dungeon Guides' while walking back to Port City, Cereal Killer thought about the actions of the Guilds, where they have made a business of selling dungeon guides.
This act allowed the nine major guilds to keep the other guilds in check. Causing the smaller guilds into pouring a lot of ti and money in raiding and conquering dungeons, and by the ti they did all of that, the major guilds would have already occupied more profitable dungeons.
He can't really say anything about it since their guild, Fla Rose, is also doing the sa thing and these guides are also not privy to ordinary mbers.
This of course made the life of the casual players harsher since most are forced to join a guild even if they didn't want to be bound into one.
While those players that really don't care about anything happening in the ga are those players in between 50-60 years of age as all of them just kept minding their own business like going camping, fishing, hiking, or traveling the land on foot along with like minded people.
"I really envy those old people. Every ti I see them, it makes realize that I have never really traveled around the world of this ga since we only focused on leveling up and making money" Itel, the Archer said when she spotted a group of players ahead of them.
Cereal Killer and the others looked over and saw them too, players whose equipnt screams of 'Adventure'!
Equipped with frying pans, fishing rods, a pot for a headgear, or any other weird stuff not seen or worn by ordinary players.
'Traveling huh…should I ask Minerva to go traveling after we are done with the Unique Quest?' Cereal Killer thought while staring at the fishing rod swaying from side to side.
The aged female player noticed his stare and smiled at him when she saw his eyes looking at the fishing rod attached on her backpack.
'Seems like a good idea'
With that small episode, the gang finally arrived before the gates of Port City.
"I've already seen this multiple tis, but damn this sight still shocks , those gates are truly humongous" Bear Kuma, their Tank with a very distinct eastern features exclaid with amazent while passing through the gates of the city.
"Just imagine if this kind of city actually existed in the real world" Gojojo comnted in passing.
As the team headed towards the shopping street, Michael, two hours ago, had arrived at Jenny's place.
"Say hi to them for ! And don't forget your take out food!"
Tina hurriedly got down from the passenger side and eagerly went behind the wheel.
Leaning on the window from the passenger side, Michael gazed sternly at Tina and said, "Don't go over the speed limit, don't run a red light, and if a police wants you to pull over, then calmly pull over, got it? I don't want to see my car on the news in a car chase with the police because soone got nervous. I will hold you accountable if anything happens, you hear young lady?"
Rolling her eyes, Tina replied with an excited giggle, "Geezzz, I know. You nag like mom, makes wonder if every adult slowly becos the person they hated the most when they were young, a person that nags a lot"
Listening to her, Michael let out a chuckle while he turned to look at the ground..
Looking back up, Michael said with a slight smile, "Just be careful on the road at night, got it? If anything happens, call for help or the police. Don't do anything stupid that could endanger you"
With a thumbs up as an answer to Michael, Tina said with impatience, "Got it! Can I go now?"
"Alright, have fun tonight!" Michael answered.
"Thanks! Bye Amanda! I'll be borrowing the car for a bit! Don't worry, I'll bring it back tomorrow in one piece! And nice seeing you!" Slowly driving off, Tina yelled from the car while waving at the figure standing by the front porch of the property.
Amanda smiled and waved back as she sent her off with her eyes.
Listening to those words, Michael had the thoughts of going after his car and yanking Tina out of his car to finally ease his worries for good.
"Hi babe! As I said earlier, Aunt Adalind insisted on having stay for dinner. I'm sorry for coming here late" Michael imdiately opened his mouth as he didn't want Amanda to talk first since it's a surefire way that he won't be able to say anything back.
"And before you get angry, I brought a few spring rolls and a pack of chicken adobo with , didn't you say before that you're craving for chicken adobo?" Michael continued, showing his best smile, his hands holding the food he brought ho, outstretched towards Amanda.
Amanda let out a sigh and put down her arms, "I'm not mad, just don't do this next ti and make sure to give an earlier heads up for sudden changes so I won't waste my ti waiting for you"
"Thank you babe! I'll keep that in mind!" Michael imdiately brightened up and quickly wrapped his arms around Amanda and gave her a passionate kiss, and received a passionate one in kind.
