Chapter 392: You're Still Green, Kid.
A few minutes later, Michael and the rest finally reached the foot of the mountain and arrived at the small rest area on the site.
He and Greg didn't imdiately spar because Michael wanted to get the two pups quickly checked up first.
So Eunice volunteered to send them to the veterinary along with Amanda who joined her in their car, they didn't even care how the fight between their boyfriends would go down.
Talk about girls getting their priorities straight!
And so, without any choice, Michael could only face Greg for spar in the open space beside the rest area.
With the start of the long awaited battle, the crowd that were with them before quickly buzzed with excitent as they quickly turned their attention towards the two n facing off each other, and even the others who didn't hear about it earlier and was about head ho postponed it as they also stayed back to watch when they heard what was happening from the others.
Michael shook his arms and stood in a stance and looked at the man a distance before him, "Are you ready?"
"Wushu?" Greg raised an eyebrow when he saw Michael's stance, and it only intrigued him further as his fighting spirit burned brighter than ever!
Michael smiled saying, "You can say that"
Greg just smiled as he also went into his own stance, he raised his hands in an eye level position, with his head protected, his chin-tucked, and Michael couldn't help raising an eyebrow with that as he was very familiar with that fighting technique.
"Krav Maga, huh?"
The spectators quieted down as they slowly took out their phones and started recording, and their numbers were still slowly increasing because the people who were just passing by beca curious when they saw the crowd of people and joined in the fun after hearing about what was about to happen.
"This is gonna be so lit~! I hope it becos trending when we upload it to WeTube later" said a young teen to his friend while focusing his attention towards the two n in the center who hadn't moved an inch since they were in their fighting stance.
One second.
Five seconds.
Ten seconds.
Michael and Greg just stood there and didn't move an inch.
They just looked at each other as they studied each of their facial expressions, and with every passing second, it made the spectators a little hard to breathe with anticipation building up, and they didn't dare to blink and kept their eyes wide open as much as possible as they knew that the mont the two n move, would be the deciding mont of victory and defeat.
And they didn't want to miss out on it!
Any sane man would have stepped forward and stopped this fight from happening, but this world wasn't adverse to this kind of fight because they know that it's just a spar between two fighters, and they were really open to this kind of thing because there are even martial arts tournants being held across the world.
Even more popular than the Olympics had been.
And for god's sake, there's even a couple of police officers who ca to join the fun when they got a report about animal abuse earlier, and ca here and are now stuck here because they didn't want to quickly go back, and at the sa ti, they were also here to prevent anything that would escalate into deadly fight.
Michael was carefully observing Greg and thought to himself, `This guy is good, anyone in my position would have been stumped because it looked like there's no flaw in his defence, but…'
There's no buts, Michael just rushed ahead because he's got a lot of things in his hands and doesn't want to waste any more of his ti with this aningless spar!
"Whoa~!"
The spectators let out an exclamation when they saw Michael rushing at Greg, while the latter quickly tightened his defence as he didn't dare to underestimate what attack Michael would throw at him!
Greg's eyes flashed and thought, 'It's coming!'
Or so he thought, but Michael suddenly ca into a quick halt and suddenly threw a whip-like kick towards his left side!
'What!'
Greg was startled as he was expecting that Michael would either throw a punch or tackle him with how fast he was going, and because of his actions, it slightly disrupted his rhythm.
But as an experienced fighter, he didn't lose cool as he was just a little startled.
He quickly raised his left leg to block the attack, and prepared to quickly throw a counter the mont the kick landed.
But reality is reality, because not every expectation would happen.
"Shit!'
This ti, Greg cursed aloud when he saw Michael's kick had miraculously changed its trajectory like a vine whip and was now striking towards his head!
Greg gritted his teeth and blocked the attack with his left arm!
Pow!
"Holy moly!"
"Can soone tell what the heck just happened!?"
"Why did it suddenly strike his head? Wasn't that attack supposed to strike his body?"
The spectators exclaid loudly when they saw what happened, but those with keen eyes clearly saw how it ca down, and they were...shook!
'What the hell is with that kick?'
'Wasn't that a z-whip? There's actually soone who could execute that move in this city?'
On the other hand, Greg stumbled to the side as he felt his arm screaming in pain!
'So heavy!'
Greg quickly regained his footing, and looked at Michael casually standing there with a heavy expression as he could finally feel what those thugs from before had felt earlier, and he wouldn't even be surprised if hears that the thug from before had gotten a really bad broken jaw.
'His kick is as powerful soone hitting you with a tal bat with all of their strength behind it'
"You good?" asked Michael with a smile.
With a heavy look on his face, Greg replied, "Yeah, let's continue"
Swoosh!
This ti, Greg decided to charge ahead and attack, instead of defending as he knows he would certainly lose if he did so.
Greg leapt towards Michael and spun in the air and threw a spinning back kick to Michael!
Seeing the attack heading towards him, Michael lightly shook his head and thought, 'This kid clearly hadn't experience any life or death battles for him to throw a move like this'
With no surprise whatsoever, Michael just slightly dodged to the side and skillfully took a couple of steps forward and struck the unguarded Greg with chop on his neck.
Pak!
Greg didn't even have the chance to properly land on the ground when he just limply fell on the ground.
"You're too green, kid"
"..."
"Whoa!!!"
There was silence for a few seconds as the people watching them didn't know how to react at this abrupt ending, but it was quickly followed by deafening cheers at the end.
"Holy...sh*t! Did you guys see that!? Did you f*cking guys see that!? Everything happened so fast, it's amazing!" The WeTuber was shouting loudly in excitent before his cara along with the deafening cheers from the people around him, which made the scene even more amazing!
With the people cheering around them, Michael sat on his feet and poked Greg who's on the ground, "You okay, kid?"
"I'm so embarrassed, I didn't even land a single hit on you and I lost" Greg weakly replied while hiding his face with his arm.
Michael just smiled, "Get up, it would even be more embarrassing for you if you keep lying on the ground"
In the end, he didn't have much of a choice but to stand up, and the mont he did that, the people around them started clapping, which made him a little bit better.
After a short interview with a couple of people, and with the local TV Station who surprisingly ca over to interview their short spar, finally ca peace.
Following that, Michael and Greg can be seen sitting at the rest area with a few people around them who are still here and discussing what happened even when the sun had already set as the night slowly settled in.
"How co I couldn't see your attacks?" Greg asked Michael as he took a big gulp of his bottled water.
Michael thought for a few seconds before saying, "Maybe because I've had more experience than you?"
Hearing that, Greg's eyes quickly lit up and hurriedly said, "Are you saying that you've constantly been sparring against another soldier like !? Maybe a retired veteran!? You gotta let et him!"
"Eh?"
'What the f*ck!? When did I say that!?'
'Are we really conversing in English!? How co I suddenly can't understand you!?'
