"Even so, you won't abandon Vivian," Atropos did not show any emotion because of his words, and said calmlly.
As the eldest of the Fates, she controlled the cutting of life's threads, embodying logic and maturity devoid of sentint.
Vivian and the queen Morgan may have been the sa person, but Atropos... no, all three sisters knew the truth.
The mont Vivian reached out her hand to Promise and he grasped it, the fate once sealed had already been altered.
Even the sudden manifestation of the Temple of Fate, intercepting Morgan as she was transported Promise, had not been a coincidence.
Promise stayed silent, deeply considering Atropos's words. After so thought, he arrived at his conclusion.
"I suppose... I probably would do that," he admitted. "She was willing to entrust her life to at that mont, so I think I'd still want to help her rewrite her original fate."
"But at the sa ti, as I said from the start, I know how twisted this world is. I have no intention of letting it persist indefinitely."
After hearing his words, the second sister couldn't help but curl her lips and say.
"So, you're saying you want to help the one called Vivian change her destiny while also ending the era ruled by Queen Morgan?"
"Whether to rewrite or end her rule," Clotho spoke, her usual soft tone laced with calmness. "In every future I've seen, it all represents her release... Promise, you're as greedy as ever."
After her words fell, the corner of her mouth twitched slightly upward, betraying a small smile despite herself.
Seeing this, even the eldest sister, Atropos, couldn't help but tease her younger sister. "Dear sister, he's practically insulting you, and yet here you are, smiling."
Clotho turned her head away, pretending not to hear Atropos's words.
The latter, however, paid it no mind, as it wasn't her but their second sister, Lachesis, who began laughing uncontrollably.
Returning her gaze to Promise, Atropos asked, "So, what exactly do you plan to do?"
Faced with her question, Promise lowered his head, deep in thought, recalling everything about this Lostbelt's Britain.
After a long pause, he finally spoke.
"Currently, she, who has been saved as part of the Rain Clan, is still Vivian from the Sea of Stars, carrying the fairies' mission."
The mission from paradise was to have the six clans of the fairies acknowledge their mistakes and inherit the mysteries forged by the Holy Sword.
They needed to ring the Pilgrimage Bells corresponding to the clans and forge the Holy Sword in the Furnace of Stars—a sword that, in proper history, was ant to be forged by the six primordial fairies to save the world.
And as soon as the Holy Sword was forged, the premise of this Lostbelt's existence would vanish, and it would naturally dissipate.
"I want to rewrite her fate. Therefore, I hope she can fulfill her original mission-ring the Pilgrimage Bells and forge the Holy Sword."
This was about the past.
But in the distant future, in the reign of the Winter Queen Morgan, who had already taken on her future role:
"At the sa ti, as she rings the six Pilgrimage Bells in the past and forges the Holy Sword, I will end the Lostbelt in the future in the sa way."
Promise raised his head and shared his thoughts with the three Fates before him.
To forge the Holy Sword simultaneously in the past and the future, and to end the Lostbelt together.
Hearing this, before Lachesis could fully process it, Atropos, the rational eldest sister, nodded and said, "It seems you intend to deceive the world, deceive destiny... Rewrite the past while aligning the future with it.
In doing so, with both edited, the past and future of the Lostbelt would no longer matter." Once Atropos explained, the other two sisters naturally understood.
Running the feasibility of this plan through her mind, Lachesis looked at Promise with a speechless expression, even rolling her eyes.
"Promise, you really are as skilled as ever at humiliating us, aren't you?"
At her words, even Atropos agreed inwardly.
After all, she had been pondering this issue for a long ti before Promise arrived, but was unable to think of a viable solution and here this guy was able to fo up with an answer in such a short ti.
As a result, all three sisters turned their gaze to Promise, staring at him silently.
Stare-
"Uh... ahem, well, I think I can actually explain it." Promise, who felt a little uncomfortable being looked at, quickly coughed lightly and smiled to hide his embarrassnt.
"Okay, you explain it." Lachesis nodded, not giving h any way out, and looked at him with a playful expression.
After stamring for a while, Promise finally gave up, shrugging in resignation.
Well...I'm not explaining. What's wrong with so humiliation? It's not like it's the first ti!
Looking at Promise's helpless reaction, Lachesis clenched her fists, clearly wanting to punch him.
But just as her chest began to heave, and her heart raced so intensely that she nearly fainted, she noticed Clotho protectively positioning herself in front of Promise and looking at her
vigilanly.
With an exaggerated eye roll, Lachesis promptly fainted in front of the other three.
For the often frail Lachesis, fainting had beco such a common occurrence that even Promise had grown accustod to it.
"Still, if this is the plan, the events of the past must remain hidden from the Lostbelt King,"
Atropos continued.
"That's not difficult at all!"
As soon as those words fell, Lachesis, who had just fainted, suddenly sprang to her feet with
surprising energy.
Almost as if she had been waiting for this exact mont, she pushed her younger sister Clotho straight into Promise's arms.
"My adorable and capable sister, who even managed to deceive Athena until the very last mont-how could she not manage to keep a little Lostbelt King in the dark? Promise, this ti I'm entrusting my precious sister to you. Make sure you protect her well, alright?"
What happened afterward, Promise couldn't fully rember.
As he fell from the Fate Temple, which stood outside the world, all he could rember was Lachesis's lodious laughter, Atropos's gaze that seed to soften, and the feeling of holding a small, delicate goddess tightly in his arms.
When he opened his eyes again, he found himself truly in the Lostbelt of Britain's Fairy
Kingdom.
But this wasn't the past belonging to Vivian's era-it was the future ruled by the Winter
Queen, Morgan.
Under the quiet canopy of an ancient forest, with the afternoon sunlight streaming gently through the leaves, Promise found himself lying on Clotho's lap beneath the trees.
As he slowly opened his eyes, he instinctively looked up, eting the gaze of the goddess Clotho, who had co to this Lostbelt with him.
Feeling a bit dazed of a mont, Promise was still trying to figure out what was happening.
"Ah, finally awake, huh? I've been waiting for you for quite so ti,"
A slightly teasing voice, interrupted his thoughts.
Then, another figure entered his vision-a breathtakingly beautiful magician.
With long white hair and srizing crimson eyes that seed to intoxicate any man who looked into them, she leaned forward, her radiant presence filling his field of view.
She smiled softly, standing gracefully in front of Promise.
With just a glance, Promise imdiately recognized her identity and almost blurted out,
"rlin?!"
"rlin? Oh no, I'm not him," the girl replied calmly, blinking innocently and smiling without the slightest hint of panic. "But, well, it's natural for you to mistake for him, because I'm his sister-the lovely Lady Avalon!"
