A silent ambush is incredibly deadly for those in a five-star hotel...

The mont the door swung open, Eddie fired directly at it, the bullet piercing through the not-yet-fully-opened wooden door, hitting a gunman in shorts in the abdon.

Typically, when a bullet hits, people don't usually scream; the sudden muscle contraction would instinctively put them in a rigid state.

However, this guy was a bit different. The mont he got hit in the abdon, he instinctively fell to the ground and rolled while pulling the trigger of his pistol...

"Bang..."

"Ratatat..."

"Shit..."

Cal flashed in, finishing him off, cursing under his breath as he dashed into the room, wildly shooting at a slightly ajar door.

Bullets pierced through the door, killing the gunman hiding behind it. Due to the angle and room layout, Cal lost his line of sight, forcing him to slow down and wait for his companions to catch up before proceeding to clear the other room inside.

anwhile, the gunfire alard the person in the last room...

Mountain Eagle motioned to Cal and Eddie, decisively rushing to the last suite's door. He quickly swiped the keycard and gently pushed the door, then imdiately stepped back to the wall.

As soon as the door opened, a burst of gunfire erupted inside...

"Bang bang bang...," a Glock 17 shot bullets past Mountain Eagle, hitting the opposite hallway wall.

The opponents seed panicked, not noticing the number of bullets left in their guns.

Mountain Eagle held his breath, waiting for a few seconds before suddenly crouching and turning around, his VSS aid inside the room...

"Ratatat..."

The gunman fell the mont he got shot, and Mountain Eagle decisively stepped forward. This ti, he wasn't in too much of a hurry because the room's situation was beyond his expectations...

Taking a stride and passing through the over-two-ter corridor, Mountain Eagle edged closer to the living room, hugging the wall. As his gun pointed at the target, he saw a red-haired woman in only her underwear, holding a gun at a young man in a hoodie on top but nothing else below...

The suite's living room had a row of computers. Although the ninth floor was without power, several laptops still provided so light sources.

Plus, the dim ergency lights from the hallway illuminated the door, revealing Mountain Eagle to the two.

The hoodie-wearing young man, clutching his bleeding head and sitting on the floor, scread in terror upon seeing Mountain Eagle, "Don't shoot, don't shoot, I'm one of us..."

Mountain Eagle didn't know how he ca to be "one of them." Faced with such a strange scene, he pointed his gun at the indecent red-haired woman...

The red-haired woman realized Mountain Eagle seed indifferent to the hostage. She shouted loudly, "Don't shoot, or I'll kill him. He's with the CIA..."

Mountain Eagle paused, quirking a smile as he glanced at the hoodie-wearing young man curled up in fear, saying, "What is the CIA doing in Romania?

And why are you with the Edward Foundation's people?"

With that, Mountain Eagle pulled down the scarf covering his mouth and said to the red-haired woman, "Do you recognize ?"

The room was very dimly lit, but with a little light, the red-haired woman imdiately recognized Mountain Eagle, saying with a horrified expression, "It's you, Mountain Eagle..."

Mountain Eagle naturally nodded, saying, "Of course, who else did you think it would be?

CIA?"

Saying this, Mountain Eagle looked at the hoodie-wearing young man who seed about to wet the floor, and he chuckled, saying, "Why would the CIA collaborate with the Edward Foundation?"

The hoodie-wearing young man was a tech specialist. His original mission was to collaborate with the Edward Foundation, leveraging technical skills and several NGOs they had long-term sponsorship with to alter Romania's political landscape for geopolitical gain.

He really didn't understand why the red-haired woman, who had been in bed with him monts ago, suddenly turned hostile...

Faced with Mountain Eagle's question, the hoodie-wearing young man, with a voice tinged with tears, said, "I don't know; I'm just on a mission..."

Turning to look at the red-haired woman, who was extrely low in spirit, beside him, he sorrowfully said, "Why did you hit ?"

At this mont, the red-haired woman was also confused because Mountain Eagle had appeared too suddenly...

Both sides had just exchanged fire during the day in the mountainous outskirts, costing the Demon Group significantly, losing nearly half of their manpower.

Yet by nightfall, Mountain Eagle had managed to infiltrate the heavily guarded Radisson Hotel, appearing silently right in front of her.

The Red-haired Woman understood the combat capabilities of the Demon Group better than anyone; these people were elites with real combat experience, yet they failed to mount any decent counterattack.

In the imagination of the Red-haired Woman, Mountain Eagle shouldn't be able to accomplish this; at least, he couldn't have figured out her base in such a short ti in an unfamiliar place. Only a CIA black ops team has that capability.

As the Rawi family's delegate from the Edward Foundation, the Red-haired Woman felt uneasy...

Because she knew well that the Rawi family didn't play a glorious role in the battle outside Baghdad.

At that ti, the United States was overwheld by the dirty bomb issue, and once they realized the problem, the CIA would stop at nothing to co knocking.

Thus, the mont she realized she was under attack, the Red-haired Woman pushed away the hoodie man pressed against her, trying to use him as a hostage, searching for a chance to escape, even if it ant buying a little ti.

Upon realizing her mistake, the Red-haired Woman didn't drop her gun; instead, she pressed the muzzle again against the hoodie man's head, saying in a low voice, "Mountain Eagle, our target this ti isn't you. If this guy dies, Arctic Fox will be on the CIA's kill list..."

Mountain Eagle was amused by the woman's claim; he shook his head and decisively pulled the trigger, shooting the Red-haired Woman in the shoulder...

The mont the Red-haired Woman was shot in the shoulder, the Glock 17 in her hand fell to the ground. Just as Mountain Eagle intended to approach, the seemingly clueless hoodie man suddenly picked up the gun and aid it at Mountain Eagle...

Mountain Eagle noticed the guy's movents, but as he was preparing to shoot him, a large-caliber bullet was fired from the rooftop of a building opposite the hotel, piercing through the glass door of the balcony and hitting the hoodie man's back.

The VSSK large-caliber sniper bullet is sowhat different from the common 12.7mm anti-material ammo; its structure resembles more of a pistol bullet, so its range and power are slightly inferior. However, for an unprotected human body, the result is no different...

The large-caliber bullet changed direction as it penetrated the glass, and upon impacting the hoodie man, it was like skewing into his back and then opened a bowl-sized blood hole in his chest...

The forceful bullet carried with it a large amount of flesh, bone shards, and lung fragnts when flying out, with several splinters piercing into the Red-haired Woman's calves, causing her to groan once more.

anwhile, Cal and Eddie also rushed in from next door, seeing the situation in the room. Eddie approached and glanced at the fallen Red-haired Woman, whistling lightly and saying, "Mountain Eagle, was this smooth or not smooth?"

Mountain Eagle checked the watch on the inside of his wrist, nodded, and said, "We have ti; find a suitcase to pack her in, let's retreat..."

Saying this, Mountain Eagle moved over to a few computers still brightly displaying their screens and glanced at them while Eddie and the others were busy.

He couldn't understand the highly technical stuff, but a few continuously shaking dialog boxes showed they were communicating with the outside via the internet. Though the contact was unknown, the words like protest, demonstration, funding, erging inside made Mountain Eagle realize he hadn't frad these people...

They indeed have connections with several NGO organizations that organize protests and even provided them with funds.

With this discovery, Mountain Eagle felt much more relaxed. He looked over at Cal, who was bunching up so gauze and stuffing it into the shoulder wound of the Red-haired Woman, and laughed, "Buddy, take it easy. I still have a few questions to ask this Lady..."

Cal clearly wasn't accustod to sparing the fairer sex; he clamped the Red-haired Woman's mouth with one hand and twisted the gauze roll with his other hand, forcefully stabbing it into the wound...

Seeing the Red-haired Woman flailing like a shrimp on land, Cal called out to Eddie, who was searching for a suitcase: "Quicker..."

"Coming, coming..."

Eddie cleaned out a suitcase that looked the most expensive and conveniently carried a carry-on suitcase with a combination lock to the living room...

Handing the sowhat heavy suitcase to Mountain Eagle, Eddie assisted Cal in stuffing the Red-haired Woman into the suitcase while saying, "We checked their equipnt earlier; these people are very well-equipped. If it weren't for this sudden attack, taking them down would have been tougher.

This woman doesn't seem like a prostitute; even now, she still felt like unwinding with soone in bed. The stuff in her room has so value..."

Mountain Eagle lifted the carry-on suitcase to feel its weight, nodded, and said, "We've been here for about 10 minutes; let's leave here first."

As he said this, Mountain Eagle glanced at the computers on the table and said, "These things are enough to keep the Romanians busy."

A few minutes later, Mountain Eagle boarded the 7-seater SUV brought by Blood Fox. After the vehicle left the Radisson Hotel, he took out his phone and sent a ssage to the Romanian agent who had provided support earlier and then directly discarded the prepaid phone in his hand...

Squeezed in the last row of seats, Cal looked at the ti as the vehicle left the hotel range, sighed, and said, "Thirteen and a half minutes; if it weren't for Eddie talking too much, we could have been faster...

But I'm indeed getting old; my heart is still racing a bit!"

Eddie turned around and tossed a bottle of mineral water at Cal annoyedly, "That's because you forgot to take your antihypertensive dication; low pressure 110, high pressure 220. It'd be a miracle if your heart wasn't racing."

Cal paused a mont, quickly pulled a dication box from his pocket, found the ds intact, and let out a long breath, saying, "Luckily, I haven't lost them. For more than a month, Tiffany has been watching over my dication intake, but now she hasn't called for two days, I forgot."

Mountain Eagle looked at Cal opening the dication box, tossing several differently colored pills into his mouth, and drinking a sip of water to wash them down, annoyedly said, "You don't need to remind to keep an eye on Tiffany's situation; they are now in Moscow, and there's soone protecting them."

Cal breathed a sigh of relief: "Then where do we head next?"

Mountain Eagle took out the GPS, marked a position, and handed it to the driving Blood Fox, saying, "Head here...

This is an abandoned Farm; we'll catch our breath there and then, tomorrow, sa ti, we'll visit the 'Bayonet Gang.'

I've already scouted 'Bayonet Gang's' base with a drone, and so people there are acting quite strange, not like gang gunn..."
