In his past life, Bok Taejin considered himself sowhat of a foodie.

He had tasted many exquisite dishes and wouldn't hesitate to travel far or spend a lot of ti just to experience unique delicacies.

However, as the world changed, many ingredients that were once commonplace beca difficult to find or were even protected.

So dosticated livestock breeds teetered on the brink of extinction, with only a handful of small villages still raising them for consumption.

Trying to buy them in the market had beco nearly impossible.

Bok Taejin had once felt deep sorrow over this, but he was powerless to change it.

The only thing he could do was eat as much delicious food as possible while he was still alive.

And then, he arrived in this world.

The lingering mories of this body never told him how delicious the food in this world was.

Before following the forr Sect Leader, the original owner and his family had been on the verge of starvation.

After joining the One Flower Sect, the Sect Leader had already practiced inedia and didn't care about eating, so he had no cooking skills.

He rely cooked things enough to make them edible.

When the original owner grew a little older and had to cook for himself, he was barely able to make food edible.

Naturally, he never thought of food as anything special—only as sothing to fill his stomach.

Bok Taejin's sigh of lant lasted only for a mont before he quickly drank down the rest of the soup in his bowl—at soup was best enjoyed hot.

The remaining portion had already cooled to lukewarm, and if he waited any longer, it would be too cold to enjoy.

After finishing, Bok Taejin still felt a lingering craving as he gazed at the steaming pot.

This was just great—after tasting the soup, he felt even hungrier than when he had first stepped out of the house.

Perhaps the hot soup had sped up his digestion and stirring up the hunger he had previously suppressed.

After thinking for a mont, Bok Taejin sat down next to Im Beomhyeon and asked, "Brother Im, thank you for saving today. What is this place?"

Im Beomhyeon raised his eyes and glanced at the Second Uncle, who was sitting on a bench nearby while watching the sunset.

Then, he said, "This is Hwayang Village. Kid, you ca all this way without even knowing where you were? And you even crossed through the Jade Blossom Mountain Range?"

As he spoke, he gave Bok Taejin an appraising look from head to toe and then clicked his tongue and sighed, "With your little body, it's a wonder the demonic beasts didn't bother to eat you. Maybe they thought you weren't worth the effort. Even ordinary wild animals didn't bother with you—now that's rare."

Bok Taejin's face flushed red slightly.

He stretched out his hand and, with a thought, summoned the Sect Leader Token of the One Flower Sect into his palm.

Im Beomhyeon stared the token in shock.
