Aunt Hong i didn’t ride a bike this ti; she simply sat behind Han Qiwu on his little electric scooter and chatted warmly, "My cousin has loved farming since he was young. When he ca back, he took up more than seventy mu of land near the town and even fenced off half a mountain. He grows all sorts of things."

"That’s great. Perfect chance to go over and get to know him," Han Qiwu replied with a smile. The larger the planting area Aunt Hong i’s cousin managed, the higher the chance of getting so sugarcane.

Even though he wasn’t sure yet whether it was a system item, it was still worth going to check it out.

If nothing worked, he could always give a gift and see if raising the favorability might lead to a sugarcane gift.

After all, success takes effort.

"When we get there, just call him Uncle Ding. His actual na is Ding Shuji, but he doesn’t like anyone calling him that. The folks in town usually call him Old Ding," Aunt Hong i continued to explain to Han Qiwu.

"Ding Shuji?" Han Qiwu couldn’t help but chuckle in amusent.

The na did sound rather morable.

After sitting for a while, Hong i felt a bit thirsty. She took out so buffalo milk from her basket, opened it, and drank a sip.

Her eyebrows twitched instantly.

"Xiao Han, this buffalo milk is pretty good! It’s rich and really quenches thirst."

Han Qiwu didn’t turn around as he kept riding, only chuckling lightly. "Glad you like it. I’ll bring you more next ti."

Ding Shuji’s land was located at the northwest corner of the town. Even before they reached it, they could see plenty of trucks and workers gathered there, loading goods in groups of twos and threes. There were also many large trucks with out-of-town plates coming in to pick up supplies—it looked like business was doing well.

After parking the scooter, Aunt Hong i pulled Han Qiwu through the side entrance, cheerfully greeting a middle-aged woman, "Yanfang, business seems great lately! Xiao Ding must’ve saved enough for a few houses by now!"

After saying that, she turned to introduce Han Qiwu, "This is your Aunt Ding. Both of them have the surna Ding."

"Hello, Aunt Ding," Han Qiwu smiled politely.

"Haha, don’t exaggerate. Vegetable prices are high this year, so we’ve earned a little extra," Ding Yanfang, holding a ledger in her hand, looked up and smiled back at Aunt Hong i, "Is the family stocked up on veggies? If you see anything you like, just take it."

After those words, she turned and looked at Han Qiwu, suddenly showing surprise, "Wow, where did you find this big star? He’s way too handso, such a fine young man!"

You had to admit, people who’d traveled far and wide for business knew how to speak eloquently.

And, of course, she wasn’t wrong.

"Got plenty, got plenty," Aunt Hong i waved her hand dismissively. "He’s no celebrity! He’s a graduate student sent over by the research lab to do experints. His na’s Han Qiwu. By the way, where’s Old Ding? I’ve got sothing to discuss with him."

"Let him attend to you. He just finished up and is having tea in the back. Just head straight in," Ding Yanfang replied with a smile. Then, grabbing two tomatoes from a nearby basket, she rinsed them with a ladle of water and handed them to Han Qiwu, "Xiao Han, try these. They’re a new variety and pesticide-free."

"Will do. Thanks, Aunt Ding," Han Qiwu smiled, taking them and inspecting them.

The tomatoes weren’t particularly large and looked rather misshapen, but their surface was a vibrant, sun-soaked red.

He bit into one, making an opening, and then energetically sucked out a mouthful of tangy and sweet juice.

"Delicious! These tomatoes are bursting with flavor." Han Qiwu’s eyes lit up as he complinted while eating enthusiastically.

Hearing his praise, Ding Yanfang couldn’t help but show a hint of pride on her face. "As long as you like them! Pack so to take back later."

"Thanks so much, Aunt Ding."

After expressing his gratitude, Aunt Hong i led Han Qiwu to the back room. Before they went in, she briefly explained to him that Ding Shuji had a young son nad Ding Shuding, who was seven and quite mischievous.

Ding Shuji was sitting there wearing a small undershirt and holding a purple clay teapot, pouring himself so tea.

Upon seeing the two of them, he stood up cheerfully, "Sister i, what brings you here today?"

Hong i cut straight to the point, laughing as she introduced Han Qiwu.

"Hello, Uncle Ding," Han Qiwu greeted warmly.

Ding Shuji waved his hand generously, "No problem! There are still over thirty sticks of sugarcane in the greenhouse at ho. Xiao Ding can’t finish them himself anyway. Go ahead and hack a few down to take back, craving so, huh?"

"Thanks, Uncle Ding. I’m actually planning to use the sugarcane to try making so homade sugar," Han Qiwu said with a chuckle, pulling out two bottles of buffalo milk from his pocket and placing them on the table. "This is buffalo milk, freshly obtained today—it tastes pretty decent."

"Milk? Milk, where’s the milk?"

Hearing Han Qiwu ntion milk, a little boy wearing the sa small undershirt as Old Ding dashed out from the inner room, wide-eyed and searching frantically. The chubby little boy jiggled adorably as he ran.

"Here, here! Xiao Ding is getting handsor by the day. Let your cousin boil it up, then you can drink it!" Aunt Hong i exclaid, scooping up Xiao Ding in excitent.

"Auntie, this milk’s already processed. You can drink it directly," Han Qiwu chuckled lightly.

Upon hearing this, Xiao Ding imdiately squird out of Aunt Hong i’s embrace, ran over to grab the buffalo milk bottle, and said to Han Qiwu, "Thanks, big brother!" as he unscrewed the cap and began gulping it down.

Xiao Ding had sharp ears. Just from what Han Qiwu said earlier, he knew the milk ca from this handso big brother.

The taste of the buffalo milk needed no more description; within a re ten seconds, Xiao Ding had finished an entire bottle.

"Yummy, yummy! Thanks, big brother!"

After saying that, he reached out for the second bottle of milk.

Old Ding quickly reached out and grabbed the second bottle, furrowing his brows as he asked, "Xiao Han, did you add sugar to this milk?"
