Unlike the Spider Puppet, the fish pond requires a large number of stones.

A full 400 stones!

If it weren’t for spending 200 stones to craft the [Sli One-Ti Incubator], Han Qiwu could have built the fish pond in one go.

But its capacity is a bit small, only holding five fish—not even enough to fill up Little Shui for one al.

Though, to be honest, Han Qiwu really wants to try the taste of caviar.

Eating fish at all the ti is a bit boring.

After thinking for a while, Han Qiwu ultimately decided not to build a fish pond for now. "Sharpening the axe won’t delay the chopping of wood; better save so money to upgrade the axe and pickaxe first."

Caviar, wait for .

The other building options haven’t appeared yet; maybe, like the livestock barn, they’ll unlock the next one after purchasing the first.

Anyway, there’s no point in stressing over these things in the current situation.

Even if unlocked, there’s no money or materials to construct them.

After making up his mind, Han Qiwu opened Master Gongshu’s special supply and selected a fence, which was his purpose for coming here today.

All for the eggs. Protecting egg-laying hens is everyone’s responsibility.

Broiler chickens: "????"

[Blocking Fence]

[Materials Required: Wood (46/5)]

[Note: The blocking fence is perfect for keeping livestock contained]

Since he didn’t know the size of the fence, Han Qiwu decided to use up all the materials he had on him and made nine fences in one go. These things would be useful in many places in the future.

Once he had more materials, Han Qiwu planned to properly organize the farm layout.

[Crafting Ti: 10 minutes]

After deducting the materials, Master Gongshu walked into the yard, pushed open the door, and smiled as he asked, "How about a fish pond? Want to build one?"

"Not yet. The fish pond’s capacity is a bit small, and I’m strapped for cash lately—planning to save up and upgrade my tools first." Han Qiwu looked at Master Gongshu expectantly, "Is it possible to get a discount...?"

"Getting a discount? That’s simply impossible. Let tell you in advance, the fish pond’s capacity can be upgraded, and it doesn’t require spending money." Master Gongshu chuckled and said, "Still, upgrading the tools first is the wiser choice—I’m rooting for you."

After speaking, Master Gongshu walked into the forge to start working on the fences.

A fish pond that can be upgraded? Without spending money? Could it be that the fish themselves dig through the mud to expand the pond? Han Qiwu mused curiously.

While waiting, Han Qiwu pulled out *"Flower Fairy in My Ho"* and carefully read it line by line.

Ten minutes later, Han Qiwu received the fences.

The blocking fences looked exactly like the wooden fences in animated films, each being sixty centiters long and one ter wide, with mortise-and-tenon joints to connect them.

Putting away the items, Han Qiwu thanked Master Gongshu before leaving the blacksmith’s workshop.

Sitting on his small electric scooter, Han Qiwu opened up the map and discovered that Zhuang Zhu’s butcher shop was located on the eastern side of town—not too far from here.

Well, let’s go over and have a look—even if I don’t buy anything, checking out the at prices would be worthwhile.

Following the map, Han Qiwu rode to Zhuang Zhu’s butcher shop within ten minutes or so.

Zhuang Zhu’s butcher shop was also by the riverbank—its storefront faced the river, while a stone tile house stood behind it.

Just like the blacksmith’s workshop and museum, Zhuang Zhu’s butcher shop was another building that only interacted with Han Qiwu; there were no other townsfolk around.

Before he even got close, Han Qiwu heard the sound of a couple arguing coming from the house behind the butcher shop—it sounded quite heated.

The appearance of the butcher shop resembled those found in ancient dramas, with several strings of cured at and sausages hanging on the stall, alongside four or five large chunks of at. The big cuts of at had perfect coloration and fat-to-lean ratios, and the knives on the stall glead brightly enough to reflect light.

"Dare to get into fights again? Feeling bold, huh?"

"Ow, ow, ow—Madam, I was wrong, I won’t dare anymore! Please let go, or my ear’s going to fall off!"

"If I catch you again, you’re doing fasting for ten days!"

"Alright, alright."

With a rush of hurried footsteps, Zhuang Zhu ca out of the house, rubbing his ear as he walked. He wore a half-opened tank top, rough linen pants, cloth shoes with thick soles, and had a physique larger than the average person.

A at-clad assassin.

"Kid, did you just overhear sothing?" Zhuang Zhu grinned at Han Qiwu sowhat sheepishly.

"Didn’t hear a thing," Han Qiwu quickly waved his hands and said.

Are you joking? This guy is the assassin who wielded the Fishgut Dagger to slay King Liao of Wu!

Teasing him is just asking for trouble.

Han Qiwu rely wanted to buy so at and treat himself to a good al.

"Not possible—you’re close enough that you must’ve heard sothing, so share your thoughts." Zhuang Zhu shook his head and said, "If you don’t say anything today, you won’t be able to buy at from ."

Alright, Han Qiwu finally understood what this was all about.

A little test, huh?

"Give a mont."

"No problem."

Han Qiwu turned around and searched for information about Zhuang Zhu on his phone.

After a minute of browsing, Han Qiwu smiled confidently.

This was practically a freebie!

"Mr. Zhuang Zhu, anyone who can yield to a woman can surely rise above a group of n. I think what you did was entirely correct." Han Qiwu said seriously.

"Well said! Wise n think alike! You’re speaking my language. However, I’m no mister—I’m just a butcher." Zhuang Zhu smiled, satisfaction in his voice. "Take a look around and see what you’d like to buy."

With that, Zhuang Zhu turned and walked back into the house.

"Got it."

Han Qiwu wasn’t surprised by this outco; after all, that quote was originally said by Zhuang Zhu himself.

The term "fearful husband" originated from Zhuang Zhu’s story.
