“The ceremony proceeds as planned. The invitations are sent. Postponing would be a joke.” The family head made the final decision.
The eldest master was pleased. “Yes, father.”
The family head waved them off. “Prepare quickly and don’t linger here.”
They all left.
Xuan Louze went to the accounting office with Zeng Huo to withdraw money. “Give ten thousand taels. I want to eat out.”
The accountant was terrified. “No money!”
Xuan Louze pushed him aside and broke the lock, taking out a stack of silver notes. “Let’s go, Zeng Huo. Ti to enjoy ourselves.”
