Watching the six n who were acting like buffoons, Mo Yan had no patience to engage in a war of words with them; she was simply waiting for them to produce their so-called evidence, and then she would "crush" it with a single blow. No matter how capable they were, she was determined to make it impossible for them to turn the tables.

The six n had also heard the quarreling outside and, worried that the situation might change, did not dare to delay any further. They emptied all the contents of their small cloth bag onto the table. Four clumps of hair piled up on the table, unexpectedly matching the colors of Xiao Hua Dabai, Mao Tuan, and the Golden Beast.

At first glance, these four clumps of hair seed quite convincing, and those unfamiliar with the four creatures would probably believe that this hair indeed ca from them. However, no one knew better than Mo Yan what their hair truly looked like. With just one look, she knew that the hair had been taken from other wild beasts and then treated with dyes to make it look identical to the hair of the four creatures.

They were conspicuously lacking the scales of the Red Python, which were probably too rare. Each scale was as large as the palm of a baby’s hand, and a missing scale would leave a noticeable gap that others could easily identify. The difficulty in faking this was too great, making it imdiately apparent.

The person who set up this trap was not entirely without brains. If the four creatures had not drunk from the Spirit Spring Water, eaten food from the Space to improve their constitution, and gone through Xue Tuanzi’s decades of tempering, it would truly be difficult to distinguish these clumps of hair from the real thing.

But fake was fake. No matter how similar the appearance, when compared with the hair of the four creatures, the texture was utterly different.

In the world, no two leaves are the sa, and even within the sa species of wild beast, there are subtle differences in the hair between individuals, although they are not readily distinguished by the naked eye or touch. Yet, the hair of the four creatures now amplified these subtle differences several fold, and one needed only to compare them side by side for a short ti to notice the difference, even for those with poor eyesight.

Mo Yan’s confidence swelled, and even as more and more voices erged around her, disparaging her family and the five creatures, she remained unaffected and in good spirits. This ti, she genuinely smiled.

The six "victims" saw the smile on Mo Yan’s face and looked at each other, confused. They had been certain their plan would succeed and they would receive a generous compensation, but suddenly they were not so sure.

How could Mo Yan fail to notice the flicker of guilt in their eyes? Her smile grew even more radiant, "This is the evidence you’re talking about? Is there anything else? Why don’t you bring it all out at once, after all, we should be thoroughly convinced to pay that Three Thousand Liangs of Silver, shouldn’t we?"

At the ntion of Three Thousand Liangs of Silver compensation, the previously uneasy six n instantly forgot their anxiety and stared fixedly at Mo Yan. One of them, unable to contain his impatience, said, "Yes, there’s more, but you must first bring out the Three Thousand Liangs of Silver. If we’re in a good mood, maybe we’ll give you the evidence and not take you to the Governnt Office to sue for letting your beasts attack us."

"No!" Mo Yan instantly refused without a second thought. The remarks that followed seed casual but sent a chill down the spines of the six n, "Who knows if these four clumps of hair were not collected by you when the five creatures were shedding their fur the other day, purposely setting up this trap to falsely accuse them and extort compensation? You must provide additional evidence; otherwise, we will not accept your claims!"

The six n, feeling guilty and unable to produce any excuses on the spot, appeared flustered. This gave the leading governnt officer, who had not been able to get a word in until now, the opportunity to interject. He urged repeatedly, "Miss Mo is making sense. If you have other evidence, then present it quickly. Otherwise, you can’t just use those four clumps of hair to prove that you were bitten by the five beasts."

At that, the six n exchanged glances and, under the pressing gaze of the others, reluctantly rolled up their sleeves, unraveling the white bandages wound around their faces, necks, and arms, coil by coil.
