Just as Mo Yan shook her head with a smile, thinking she was hallucinating due to lack of rest, that persistent voice in her mind sounded again: "Wow, Yanyan, you’re here, you finally ca in to see !"
This ti, it was unmistakably ringing in her ear.
Mo Yan was startled and swiftly turned toward the source of the voice, but saw nothing. As she puzzled over this, the voice ca through once more: "Yanyan, the Jade Table, co to the Jade Table!"
At these words, Mo Yan carefully discerned the direction, realized indeed the voice was coming from the Jade Table, and quickly ran towards it.
The voice’s ergence was too eerie, and she hadn’t discounted the possibility of danger, but with the Space’s upgrade being so filled with oddities, and the voice having awoken her from the outside through a slender connection to the Space, it would have been effortless for the voice’s owner to harm her now that she was inside the Space.
She believed even more that this Space, which had been with her for two lifetis and had been upgraded through the accumulation of rit, wouldn’t harbor any malevolent figures or things, much less cause her harm.
The Space had expanded to ten thousand mu, equivalent to a large circle with a radius of one thousand five hundred ters. It took Mo Yan a while to reach the Jade Table. She instinctively looked at the rit Pearl at the heart of the table and found it had returned to its clear and sparkling appearance. However, peculiarly, on the surface of the sphere there appeared a pair of marble-sized round shiny black spots. When she looked over, those round black spots playfully blinked and on closer inspection, they were a pair of glossy black eyes!
Holy smokes, those were really a pair of eyes! The rit Pearl had actually grown a pair of eyes! Mo Yan was utterly flabbergasted.
Seeing Mo Yan’s dumbfounded expression, the pair of eyeballs seed delighted, slipping and sliding over the rit Pearl as the voice ca with a tinge of urgency: "Yanyan, quick, set free, I’m almost suffocated inside!"
Regaining her composure, Mo Yan looked at the blinking "Little Dot" on the rit Pearl. She didn’t find it terrifying. Instead, "Little Dot" felt very familiar, like a good companion, or even a family mber.
Yet as it urged her to set it free, Mo Yan was sowhat baffled: "How should I set you free? Do I need to smash the rit Pearl?"
Upon hearing this, "Little Dot" gave Mo Yan a contemptuous look and rolled its eyes: "Yanyan, silly! If you smash the rit Pearl, how are you going to keep accumulating rit for the Space’s upgrades?"
Being called "silly" by a pair of black spots, Mo Yan almost spurted a mouthful of blood in frustration, and said in annoyance, "You didn’t explain clearly, how would I know how to set you free!"
"Little Dot" twirled around, seeming a bit embarrassed, and muttered: "I kind of forgot!"
"Pfft!"
The voice was obviously mature and completely unsuitable for coquetry; suddenly adopting such a coquettish tone, Mo Yan was sincerely unable to cope and couldn’t help but burst into a snicker, quite ungraciously.
