There was a new snack stand on the street, and not only the neighboring stall owners noticed, but also the regulars who ca to buy breakfast every morning. Now, with the first few custors trying the food and taking away several pieces at once, those who were still observing flocked over, willing to spend the money just to try sothing new, considering it wasn’t expensive.

The little stand gradually beca busier, and many passersby, curious about the crowd, ca over to have a look. Seeing others enjoying the pancake-like food and slling the delicious aroma wafting from the strange-looking pot, saliva started to overflow involuntarily. They couldn’t help but pull out their money to buy one to satisfy their cravings.

Those who had tasted the fried pancake wraps and egg rolls almost universally liked them. They didn’t just eat for themselves; they typically took one or two back ho for their families.

As more and more people gathered, even with Mo Yan and Mo Danier helping out, Mo Wu was still incredibly busy until the pedestrian traffic on the street began to thin out two hours later.

Though they were running around non-stop, not a single person complained of being tired. Mo Yan, feeling the weight of the money pouch, knew without counting the copper plates inside that, given they had used up nearly all three basins of batter, a large jar of spicy soup, and various ingredients, she could estimate how much Silver Coin they had made.

People continued to co in a steady stream to buy, and after using the last bit of batter and ingredients to make the final fried pancake wrap, Mo Yan and the other two stood resting for a mont before tidying up their things and moving them to the cart.

Leaning against the cart, Mo Wu used her left hand to lightly pound her sowhat sore right arm. Seeing that it was still early and there were plenty of people coming and going on the street, she said with a hint of regret, "If I had known the business would be this good, we should have prepared more. We could have made a lot more Silver if we sold until the afternoon!"

As Mo Yan undid the money pouch around her waist, she replied, "Countess Aunt, there’s no end to earning Silver! From now on, this little stall’s business will depend on you. I won’t be coming over anymore. When it’s just you and Big Sister Dani busy, I’m afraid you’ll be exhausted. It might be better to sell out early like today and go ho to rest, so as not to wear yourselves out."

Mo Wu waved her hand and laughed, "It was only busy this morning for a while; after that, it eased up quickly, didn’t it? We peasants are used to hard work in the fields, which is truly tiring. This is nothing – just moving our arms around, hardly any effort at all."

Mo Danier also nodded repeatedly. She would rather be even busier, as this way her family could quickly earn enough Silver to get her brother a wife.

Mo Yan understood their thinking and, hearing this, had no more argunts to offer, so she dropped the subject.

Upon returning ho, Mo Yan opened the heavy money pouch and poured its contents onto the table. Copper Coin collided with Copper Coin, making a crisp ding-dong sound that was particularly pleasing to the ear.

The mother and daughter of Mo Wu clan, excited, started counting the copper coins, while Xin Er and several others put down their chores to co over and help count. With many hands making light work, it didn’t take long to finish counting, and the final tally was surprisingly high.

"Am I dreaming?" Mo Wu couldn’t believe her eyes as she looked at the strings of Copper Coin on the table. She pinched her thigh hard to make sure she wasn’t dreaming and then counted again carefully. The result was the sa as before – eleven strings.

One string was One Hundred Wen, which was the sa as a coin of Silver. Eleven strings amounted to A tael and a coin of Silver. Moreover, considering the more than twenty loose Copper Coins on the table, they had made just over a tael of Silver in less than a morning’s work.

"Mother, you’re not dreaming. We really have earned Silver!" Mo Danier was also extrely excited. She had never seen so much Silver in her life, and she had contributed to this earning!
