Zhenzhen, however, ca over hesitantly and wrapped her arms around her sister’s arm with a look of admiration, "Big sister, why did you just throw a rock at that big snake and let it go, and it just obediently left?"

As soon as Mo Yan heard this, she felt that it was ti to tell him about the Red Python, lest the creature suddenly show up at their house next ti and scare him.

"That snake is the Red Python, which I encountered when I went into the mountains before. It ca to our house this ti to find . If it cos again, don’t be afraid. If I’m not here, just pretend you didn’t see it, and definitely don’t provoke it."

After hearing this, Zhenzhen’s eyes shone even brighter, "Big sister, you’re so amazing. Even such a big snake wants to play with you. Can you call it over to our house next ti? Zhenzhen really wants to touch it." That big snake looked so majestic!

"No way!" Mo Yan rejected the idea without a second thought, "Although it won’t harm , you are not necessarily safe. How can we invite such a dangerous creature into our ho?"

She didn’t want the Red Python to co looking for her at all, naturally, she wouldn’t bring it ho intentionally. Besides, if the villagers found out, they might have bad intentions, as such a big snake could be hunted and sold for quite a bit of silver!

"Well... okay then!"

Zhenzhen felt sowhat disappointed but admired her big sister even more in her heart.

Seeing that Xin Er wouldn’t wake up anyti soon, Mo Yan asked Zhenzhen to watch her for a while because she needed to go out and see if that creature had really left. If it hadn’t and was scaring villagers venturing into the mountains near their ho, that wouldn’t be good.

The Mo Family’s courtyard was very large, spanning seventy acres, but sixty acres were enclosed, so there was more than just the main entrance gate. Small side doors were placed on each side for convenience.

Mo Yan opened the east side door, which was the side the Red Python had crawled in from.

As soon as she stepped out, she saw the creature lying lazily in a straight line beneath the wall. Upon seeing Mo Yan, it’s snake eyes brightened, and it slithered over quickly.

"Your wound from the knife should be healed by now, so you ought to return to the mountains. Why did you co to find ? You’ve scared my sister out of her wits."

Seeing that only a faint scar remained where its belly had been cut, and that it was healing well, Mo Yan was annoyed by its frightening arrival and kicked it.

The Red Python hissed, sticking out its tongue to signal its innocence. It had never left the mountains before and didn’t know humans were so easily frightened. If it had known, it would have co stealthily at night without being noticed.

Understanding why the creature had co, Mo Yan took it to a hidden spot and brought out half a basin of Spirit Spring Water from the Space. She also took out a basket of eggs and a basket of fruit.

She had originally planned to catch a few chickens for it, but after thinking about how it had fainted Xin Er, she decided not to.

Seeing all these treats, the Red Python felt so moved it almost cried. This human kept her word, giving it so much good food in one go. It didn’t want to leave this human anymore.

Watching the creature devour everything in no ti, Mo Yan twitched the corner of her eye; her resolve to send it away and never let it co back solidified even further.

The Red Python, satisfied, swished its tail, oblivious that its hopes of clinging to her were about to be dashed. It was thinking of returning the next day, assuming that after a while, she might let it stay.

It didn’t consider that, being so large and unable to disguise itself as a dog like Little Flower, Mo Yan would likely never let it stay. So, when Mo Yan sternly voiced that it should never co back again, the yearning in the Red Python’s heart shattered into pieces.

Listening to the Red Python’s continuous hissing, it nuzzled Mo Yan’s leg with its large head, begging her to change her mind.
