Dabai is fine!

Mo Yan felt a wave of relief wash over her, and her whole body relaxed. A gentle breeze passed by and she suddenly felt a chill on her sweat-drenched back from the tension.

Seeing Mo Yan, Dabai barked urgently and began leading the way, walking ahead. Little Flower did not let Mo Yan get off and quickly trotted to follow.

The path Dabai took was full of disarrayed rocks and thickets, which was difficult to traverse. Little Flower struggled to keep up, and Mo Yan, sitting on its back, swayed unsteadily. She wanted to get down and walk on her own, but Little Flower would not allow it.

Before long, the woman and two wolves arrived at the bottom of a cliff. Mo Yan imdiately spotted a figure in black, lying on a pile of rocks not far away.

Mo Yan’s heart tightened again. Could she know this person? Otherwise, Little Flower would not be so anxious.

With this thought, she hurriedly got off Little Flower and ran over. When she carefully turned the person over and saw his face, she couldn’t help but be startled: Why was it him?

With features as refined as jade, and sideburns cut like a knife, just one glance was enough to imprint his visage in one’s mory—it was none other than Xiao Ruiyuan.

Mo Yan nervously placed her hand under his nose and felt a faint breath of warm air. This set her at ease—being alive was a good sign.

Xiao Ruiyuan was severely injured; several cuts on his black outfit revealed lacerated flesh. His complexion was ashen, his lips devoid of color, and his skin was ice cold to the touch, indicative of excessive blood loss.

Mo Yan quickly assessed the situation, but dared not move him fearing he had fatal wounds that could worsen with a wrong move. The most pressing matter was to get him to the city to see a doctor. If he continued to bleed like this, he wouldn’t need death to claim him.

But Xiao Ruiyuan was unconscious, and here she was alone, unable to carry the tall and heavy figure of Xiao Ruiyuan. Dabai and Little Flower might not be able to carry him either; even if they could, the jostling journey back would probably claim what little life he had left.

The only solution now was to place Xiao Ruiyuan inside her Space and carry him out. Ti was of the essence in a rescue, especially when the individual was the savior who had rescued her from human traffickers. Without hesitation, Mo Yan took him into her Space.

To prevent him from waking up and discovering the secret of the Space, Mo Yan cut a piece of cloth from the hem of her dress and tied it around his eyes, then bound his hands with another strip of fabric.

Having done this, Mo Yan had initially wanted to leave Dabai in the Space to watch over Xiao Ruiyuan and to have Little Flower carry her down the mountain, but Dabai was unwilling to stay. After Dabai barked at Little Flower, the smaller wolf lay down beside Xiao Ruiyuan.

Dabai then looked at Mo Yan and bent its forelimbs, the sa gesture it made when Little Flower had carried her.

Mo Yan understood Dabai’s intention and touched its head gratefully. Without any fuss, she quickly mounted Dabai and left the Space.

Compared to Little Flower, Dabai was faster and more stable. In just a couple of monts, Dabai had carried Mo Yan down to the foot of the mountain.

There were forty li from Liu Yang Village to the city, and traveling by horse-drawn cart would take considerable ti. Considering Xiao Ruiyuan couldn’t withstand rough travel, it wasn’t appropriate to transport him directly to the city for treatnt.

After so thought, Mo Yan had an idea. She took Xiao Ruiyuan and Little Flower out of the Space, removed the cloth from his eyes, and untied the strips around his wrists. She instructed Dabai to guard Xiao Ruiyuan while she and Little Flower went to the construction site to find Mo Qingze.

"Dad, I encountered Sir Xiao in the mountains, severely injured. Hurry and find so n to carry Sir Xiao down," she said.

Upon hearing that his benefactor was in trouble, Mo Qingze didn’t bother to ask further questions. He quickly found several n on the construction site, grabbed a door panel, and followed Little Flower to the foot of the mountain to carry the injured man.

Mo Yan hurried to the thatched shelter, wrote a note on a piece of paper, stuffed it into her purse, and when Little Flower returned, she tied it around its neck, repeatedly instructing it:
