"Awoo—"

After being knocked over for the forty-ninth ti, Little Flower finally couldn’t help but let out a mournful Wolf Howl. Whether it was due to the impact or lack of strength, it trembled and lay on the ground, seemingly without the power to rise and fight again.

Mo Yan hurried over, and seeing Little Flower disheveled and in a sorry state, she couldn’t help but hug its neck with a heart full of pity, "It’s okay, Little Flower, you just haven’t fought enough to beat it. Once you have so fighting experience, you’ll definitely knock it flat."

Little Flower looked at Mo Yan, its proud wolf eyes filled with the discouragent of defeat. It whimpered a few tis, struggled to stand up, and positioned itself in front of Mo Yan, facing the other wolf and letting out a series of fierce growls.

Mo Yan felt tears welling up in her eyes. This little guy, knowing full well it couldn’t win, still insisted on shielding her. Did it forget that she had Space and would definitely not be hard by that wolf?

She could tell that this wolf with formidable combat power had no intention of harming them; otherwise, Little Flower’s provocations wouldn’t have resulted in just being swatted away without a scratch on its body.

Watching Little Flower’s actions, sothing seed to flash in the eyes of the wolf. It raised its head to look at Mo Yan, who was shielded by Little Flower, its almost human-like eyes sparkling with an unusual light.

Up close, Mo Yan could clearly see the appearance of the wolf. When she saw the triangular patch of golden fur on its forehead and its uncommonly large size compared to ordinary wolves, she finally rembered that it was the alpha of the pack that had hunted wild mountain goats last winter, the sa one that had followed her and gifted her a wild mountain goat.

"You..."

Mo Yan furrowed her brows, unsure of how to begin. She didn’t sense any malice; on the contrary, judging by this wolf’s previous behavior, it was clearly trying to curry favor with her.

The wolf seed to know what Mo Yan wanted to say, and raised its leg, intending to step forward. Little Flower, thinking it wanted to harm Mo Yan, braced itself to attack again, but the wolf, without a second thought, swatted it away once more.

The wolf approached Mo Yan and gently scratched the palm of her right hand with its paw. Mo Yan suddenly realized: This fellow was after her Space!

Was it that last ti, when it hadn’t hard her and even brought her a goat, it wanted to exchange for Spirit Spring Water?

Thinking of this, Mo Yan looked at it with a very peculiar gaze. Was this a Wolf Sprite?

Seeing that Mo Yan didn’t react, the wolf scratched her again.

Mo Yan took a deep breath, took a wooden bucket out of Space, placed it in front of the wolf, and poured in Spirit Spring Water.

Seeing the Spirit Spring Water, a look of surprise clearly flashed in the wolf’s eyes. When it saw the bucket was only half full and not filling up anymore, it peered at Mo Yan with dissatisfaction, making a low grumbling noise.

Mo Yan’s eyelid twitched. This fellow couldn’t find the amount too little, could it? When she added more water, the wolf just looked on, unmoving.

"Drinking too much at once can make you uncomfortable. Just drink this bit for now!" After adding a little more, Mo Yan refused to pour any further, despite what the wolf wanted.

The wolf scratched her again, but seeing Mo Yan unwavering, it reluctantly gave up and dipped its head into the bucket to start drinking.

Watching the wolf’s head completely occupy the bucket’s opening, Mo Yan sighed at the wolf’s size once again; compared to Little Flower, it was like an adult compared to a teenager—not surprisingly Little Flower was no match and could be knocked away with a single paw.

Little Flower watched the wolf drinking deeply with envious eyes, tempted to seize this opportunity to snap its neck. However, unsure of its chances of success and fearing it might get killed instead of killing, it decided it wasn’t worth the risk.

After weighing its options, Little Flower sensibly decided to temporarily spare this creature that had disgraced its wolfhood.

Just like Yanyan had said, it was the lack of fighting experience that led to its defeat. With ti dedicated to intense training, it would surely knock this arrogant creature flat with one swipe of its paw.
