Mo Yan looked at the "Tongzi" who had grown much bigger and better, a twitch forming at the corner of her eye as she pressed her brother down into the chair, "Stop creating a fuss, you’re too old for this, it’s not appropriate."

Zhenzhen argued, "How is it inappropriate? Am I not a Tongzi? You can’t discriminate against just because I’m older!"

Mo Yan, with a wooden expression, stared at her brother, unable to refute.

Zhenzhen, with a triumphant look on his face, was pleased to have stumped his elder sister.

Mo Qingze looked helplessly at the matchmaker, pointing at Zhenzhen, "If it’s suitable, then let him go!"

The matchmaker, astonished at the sight of a pretty and adorable Zhenzhen with rosy lips and white teeth, hesitated for a mont then nodded affirmatively, "Suitable!"

Although the thought of a son rolling on his father’s bed seed awkward, the absence of a precedent did not make it impossible, neither was there a rule against it. As the auspicious ti waits for no one, they would have to make do!

With the matchmaker’s agreent, Mo Yan naturally couldn’t say much. However, Mr. Liu and Han Zhiyun thought the matter was extraordinary and speculated that if word got out, it might beco a remarkable anecdote. Of course, this was contingent on the fact that the stepson and stepmother could get along with affection and harmony after the bed-rolling; otherwise, it would turn into a joke.

A crowd of people surrounded the young boys and girls as they arrived at the bridal chamber. As the auspicious ti ca, several Tongzi began to climb onto the large bed covered in bright red bedding, rolling around cheerfully.

Zhenzhen, being the oldest, couldn’t compete with the younger children, and was the last to climb up. However, as he was climbing onto the bed, he inexplicably grabbed Shengsheng’s hand and pulled her up onto the bed.

Upon seeing this, Mo Yan thought to herself that this was not good. Amidst the matchmaker’s panicked shouts, she quickly pulled Yun Zhao, who was next to her, into the mix, pushed him onto the bed, and then glared fiercely at Zhenzhen, who, realizing his mistake too late, felt guilty and dared not lift his head.

Despite this unexpected turn of events, which nobody had predicted, the quick redy ant it ca to nothing. Seeing the bewildered expressions of the Yun Zhao siblings did, however, elicit stifled chuckles, as they were playfully urged to roll a few more tis and wish for themselves more little brothers and sisters.

After the bed-rolling ceremony, the sky had already darkened, and everyone left the bridal chamber to rest, needing to conserve their energy for picking up the bride the next day.

When Mo Yan returned to her room, she saw the Six Beasts were already curled up in their nest. During the day, the crowd was too much for them, so they had gone up the mountain together, and their shadows were not seen all day.

Seeing Mo Yan return, the Six Beasts one by one stood up, humming around her.

"Don’t worry, don’t worry, I’m letting you in now." Mo Yan looked at the Six Beasts’ flat bellies, patting their big heads one by one as she sent them into Space.

Ever since Space had its own farm with a large supply of feed, the Six Beasts’ palates had beco ever more fastidious, refusing to eat the prey from the deep mountains, which, though tough-skinned, had not much at. The prey they caught was mostly given to Zhao Mu and others by Mo Yan.

Mo Yan went back to her bedroom to find clean clothes, planning to take a bath in Space before going to bed, when she heard a knock on the door to the small hall.

People with sharp ears could differentiate the slight differences in everyone’s footstep sounds; even so, the heavy knocking told Mo Yan who was standing outside the door.

She quickly put down her clothes and ran to open the door, and, sure enough, there stood Xiao Ruiyuan.

Different from the past, Xiao Ruiyuan was dressed in light blue garnts this ti. Although the cuts were the sa—narrow sleeves and a snug waist that couldn’t conceal his underlying sharpness—this outfit felt much milder and less icy cold compared to before.

The clothing, stitched by Mo Yan in her spare monts, was being worn by Xiao Ruiyuan for the first ti, causing her to stare unabashedly.

Xiao Ruiyuan, moved by a sudden impulse, bent down to kiss the soft lips of the woman before him. He was becoming more and more accustod to being close to her. With each eting, he could hardly suppress this intense urge, but after indulging it, he would fall into a profound emptiness. This feeling made it even harder for him to bear. Yet, despite the harm it caused, he couldn’t get enough.

It was just that he hid it too well; most of the ti, Mo Yan was unaware of the man’s restraint. Sotis, when she saw him feigning disinterest, she couldn’t help but tease him until his lips were swollen, his breaths ragged, and she nearly forgot how to breathe, just to reaffirm her allure in his eyes.

Mo Yan snapped back to reality and hurriedly let him in, asking, "Why are you here? Are you leaving tonight?" Knowing he was very busy, and that these days were not his days off, he should not have had the ti to visit.

Xiao Ruiyuan, very naturally taking Mo Yan’s hand, walked into the room and said, "There’s been a result regarding that matter. The Emperor has given a few days off."
