She pulled out a handkerchief from her bosom and motioned him to wipe his sweat.

Xiaomai raised an eyebrow upon hearing this, “Alright, let’s go ho.”
“Okay.” Tong Sanlang responded, casually wiping the beads of sweat on his forehead and stuffing the handkerchief back into his pocket.
The two bid farewell to Shopkeeper Zhou and climbed onto the ox-cart together.
Once they had left Bailu Town and saw that there were no people on the road, Xiaomai imdiately took a bowl of water out of her space, “Drink up.”
Tong Sanlang had been feeling weak all day. Despite resting half of the day, he had exhausted himself under the burning sun. During that ti, not only his face had turned red, but his lips also beca extrely pale.
It hurt her to see him like that.
That damned Zhu Hongyun!
Tong Sanlang took the bowl and emptied it in one gulp, “Another one please.”
After drinking two bowls of spiritual spring water, Tong Sanlang’s slightly flushed face returned to normal. With water droplets still hanging on his lips, Xiaomai looked at him, leaned forward, and planted a hearty kiss on his mouth. “You dummy.”

“You’re already a rich lady.” Tong Sanlang laughed.

Technically, since she’s now married, she’s no longer a Miss and should be addressed as Lady Tong.
But between her and Tong Sanlang, she was the dominant one. So she’s just Xiaomai, not Lady Tong.
“So I’ll really be working for you in the future. Please provide for ,” Tong Sanlang joked.
“Don’t worry, I’ll definitely provide for you.” Xiaomai patted his shoulder and then leaned on him, umbrella in hand, “Let’s go ho and see what grandpa has to say.”
