“You think you can find a husband better than Sanlang?”
“Sanlang is very good, but unfortunately, I have no feelings for him.”
“Fine,” the matriarch pointed her finger towards Qiao Xiaomai, “Rember what you said today.”

The matriarch gave Xiaomai a dirty look before storming out of the yard towards the gate.
After leaving Qiao Xiaomai’s house, she held her anger in as she walked ho.

Once she got ho and saw Zhu Hongyun, she directed her rage onto her.

Hearing these words, the matriarch decided not to hit Zhu Hongyun anymore, she sat down on the bed to mull over why all three would be singing from the sa hymn sheet.
One wanted to marry and the other wanted to receive, but now they were both denying it.
