It was already dark when he returned to the inn.

As he reached a deserted location, Feng Yun slowed down and waited for them to appear.
With a rustling sound, a few n walked out from the bushes and surrounded him. There were six of them, surrounding him from all sides, from their actions, they didn't seem friendly.
"What do you want?" Feng Yun asked coldly as he inspected the strength of the group, two core formation realm cultivators, and the rest were Spirit Sea Realm cultivators. This group doesn't pose a threat to him. However, he wasn't sure there was no other ambusher stronger than these people.
"You should be dead." One of them spoke as he looked at Feng Yun casually. After that, he gave others a signal.
"Who the fuck are you?" Feng Yun asked again but got no answer.
"Kill him but don't kill him swiftly." As these words ca out of the man's mouth, one person who was standing behind Feng Yun launched an attack.
Feng Yun showed no reaction for a mont, standing there quietly, a little nervous at the sa ti. This was his first fight for survival, he was a little nervous.
Just as the punch was about to land on his back, Feng Yun instantly turned around and reached out to catch the incoming fist. The attacker was stunned by Feng Yun's quick reaction but smirked upon seeing that he wanted to catch his fist.
They didn't have any idea about Feng Yun's current strength, in their information, Feng Yun was nothing more than a spoiled young boy. They ca in numbers to make sure the mission went smoothly in case Feng Yun was protected by an elder, he was the patriarch's son after all.
But Feng Yun walking around alone, made their mission a piece of pie.
However, the next second sothing happened that changed everyone's expression, they saw Feng Yun catching the attacker's fist with ease. Before they could process this, Feng Yun punched the man with his other hand.
However, the next thing that shocked and terrified Feng Yun was when he looked at the terrifying scene in front of him. He never fought with a person and this mont triggered an instant survival instinct inside him which caused him to use his full strength, forgetting the enemy much weaker than him.
"Holy fuck!"
He saw his hand pierce through the body of the man, blood pumping out staining his clothes and arm, a nauseous feeling erupted inside him upon such brutal sight.
He sohow stopped himself from puking and
"What the fuck, what happened here?" The companion of the man was shocked and exclaid loudly.
"Sothing is wrong with this boy, he is much stronger than before. Attack together, kill him." The core formation realm cultivator said.
Feng Yun turned around, a spear appeared in his hand and attacked the nearest person to him before they could group up on him.
He was not aiming for killing deliberately, he just wanted to cripple them. But he didn't hold back either, it was a matter of life and death after all. Feng Yun swung his spear at the man, and the man used his sword to parry the attack.
"Clank!"
With a clank sound, the sword almost broke, and the man was thrown back flying. At the sa ti, Feng Yun used his phantom steps to dodge the incoming attack of the core formation realm cultivator.

"Three!" Feng Yun muttered slowly in his mind as he banished again and attacked the fourth man. One by one, finishing them off. From start to end, he was not hit once and knocked out his every enemy in one attack. The n felt helpless and scared of how Feng Yun was clearing them.
The second core formation realm cultivator realized that they had fucked up today, he turned around and ran away as fast as he could, but how could he escape from Feng Yun. Feng Yun caught up with him in no ti and beat him up.
He pinned him on the ground and beat him up before questioning him, "Tell who are you? Why do you want to kill ?"
