After raising his realm to the peak of the Martial King Realm, Feng Yun decided to improve his physical cultivation.

At this ti, Feng Yun was sitting in a barrel filled with a spiritual red liquid; the spiritual energy of the liquid was being absorbed into his body continuously. His body was getting stronger each second.

This is the body tempering fluid that he purchased from the system store, along with the dragon blood pills. Feng Yun’s body strength was improving very fast using these two thods.

While Feng Yun was raising his strength, the sword saint also started consuming the pills.

The Sword Saint had already begun swallowing the Nine-Origin Ascension Pills one by one. His aura flared higher and higher with each pill until, like a sword piercing the heavens, he reached the Peak Great Saint Realm. His eyes snapped open, sharp enough to cut the void.

After stabilising his realm, he once again ca to et Feng Yun.

He looked at Feng Yun, a rare grin spreading across his scarred face. "Boy, if I were ten years younger, I’d call this a dream. Now, I might just believe you when you say Hu San will die."

Feng Yun smirked faintly. "Believe it, Senior. Tonight, the Black Wolf Guild loses its fangs."

...

The night hung heavy over Black Plain City, thick clouds blotting out the moon. The streets around the Black Wolf Guild were eerily silent, as if the city itself was holding its breath.

At the guild’s gates, two guards leaned against their spears, bored expressions painted across their faces. They had no warning. A faint hum pierced the air, and the next mont a sword light streaked across the night sky.

The massive gates, reinforced with beast bone and iron, split apart as if they were paper. The sound was deafening, echoing across the district like thunder.

The guards never even had a chance to scream — their bodies were sliced cleanly, falling to the ground in two halves.

From the darkness stepped two figures.

One was tall, his robe plain, his back straight as a blade. His eyes burnt faintly with sword intent, and in his hand was a simple sword without ornant. Yet even the sight of that blade would have made seasoned cultivators shudder — for this was the blade of legends.

The Sword Saint.

Beside him stood Feng Yun, calm yet sharp, his spear resting loosely in his hand. His gaze carried none of the hesitation of a youth; instead, it held a cold edge that sent shivers down spines.

The night of reckoning had begun.

Inside the guild compound, alarms blared as bells rang. Lights flared to life one by one, illuminating rows of ard n.

In the central hall, Hu San sat like a mountain, his eyes flashing with rage. The death of his younger brother, Black Tiger, had been a humiliation. But the fact that it was done in public, before the city, had made it unbearable.

Now the source of his fury had co knocking on his very gates.

The ground trembled as Hu San rose, his presence filling the hall. Dark red qi surged from his body, forming the shadow of a monstrous wolf behind him. Its eyes glowed, its fangs bared, its aura pressing down on every man in the hall.

"Feng Yun," Hu San growled, his voice shaking the rafters. "And the Sword Saint. You’ve delivered yourselves to my door."

His n roared in unison, bloodlust filling the air.

The Sword Saint stepped forward, his gaze calm. "Hu San. The Black Wolf Guild has stained this city long enough. Tonight, it ends."

Hu San sneered. "Old dog. Once you were untouchable. But the years have passed, and you are not the invincible man you once were."

He lifted his hand, and the wolf-shaped qi howled into the sky. "I’ll kill you first, then tear your brat apart."

With a roar, Hu San lunged. His palm strike carried the weight of a mountain, claws of crimson qi stretching for the Sword Saint’s throat.

The Sword Saint’s eyes narrowed. He drew his blade.

The world seed to freeze.

A single arc of silver moonlight cut through the night. It t Hu San’s claws head-on, the impact shaking the ground. Tiles shattered, walls cracked, and dozens of guild mbers were thrown into the air from the shockwave.

Hu San staggered back a step, a thin line of blood on his palm. His eyes flashed with fury.

"So you really have recovered..."

The Sword Saint advanced, his domain unfurling. A tide of sword qi poured forth, enveloping the battlefield. The very air seed to sing with blades.

But while the two giants clashed above, the guild compound sward with enemies. Hundreds of Black Wolf Guild mbers surged toward Feng Yun, weapons raised, their roars filling the air.

Feng Yun stood calmly in the courtyard. His fingers flicked, and with a low hum, the ground beneath the guild lit up.

Golden lines etched across the earth, weaving into a massive formation that expanded outward in a blink. The guild mbers froze, their bodies tense as the qi around them shifted.

The next mont, blades of condensed light erupted from the ground.

Screams split the air as the first wave of n were sliced apart, blood splattering across the stones. The sword formation whirled like a storm, cutting down those who tried to rush him.

Feng Yun’s eyes glowed faintly as he controlled the formation. With each gesture, sword qi curved like serpents, skewering n through their armour.

"Kill him!" one of the captains roared.

A dozen elite cultivators charged, but Feng Yun’s lips curved faintly. He raised his hand, and the formation shifted.

"Heavenly Dragon Binding Chains!"

Golden chains of qi erupted from the ground, coiling around the captains before they could even blink. Their eyes widened in terror as the chains tightened, holding them helpless.

Feng Yun’s spear flickered, and in monts their bodies collapsed to the ground, lifeless.

Blood pooled at his feet, the stench of iron filling the courtyard.

Above, the Sword Saint and Hu San’s battle shook the heavens.

Hu San’s claws split the air, shredding clouds apart. The Sword Saint’s blade answered, cutting those claws into fragnts of qi. Every collision sent waves of force crashing down, toppling walls, splintering wood, and crushing n caught beneath.

"You can’t kill !" Hu San roared, his body radiating the might of a quasi-emperor. His wolf phantom grew larger, its howls shaking the night. "But I can kill you!"

The Sword Saint’s gaze was sharp as ice. His blade rose, and with it, his sword domain expanded further. An ocean of swords shimred into existence, pressing down on Hu San.

"Your arrogance will be your grave."

The two clashed again, their battle splitting the night sky with flashes of light.
