Chapter 202: Immortal Establishnt Level 4
"Did you miss ?" Ed spoke in a rather relaxed manner for soone entering the enemy range. As expected, no one bothered to talk to him, and the old man with the long katana sent a flying slash towards him.
"Not exactly the kind of welco I would have liked," Ed said as if the attack didn't concern him. He used Space magic and redirected the attack towards the quiet young man.
The young man put his hand up and blocked the attack, causing an explosion to go off inside the tent. This caused the tent to blow away and the five of them were exposed to the sun. The young man opened his eyes and glared at Ed.
"Don't look at like that; I only did it to protect myself. He's the one that attacked first." Seemingly in a playful mood, Ed mocked the commanders.
"Let's do this the right way, shall we? No need to be 'so serious'!" Ed clapped his hand and walked to a position where all four of them were in front of him.
"Ah, it's kinda noisy around here. Let's change the scenery." Ed clapped his hands and the surroundings changed imdiately. It still looked like a wasteland, but there was no sun. It was nightti so the moon and stars illuminated the place along with several torches spread around the area.
The four commanders felt a shiver go down their spine as they tensed up. All of them withdrew their weapons and were about to rush at Ed.
"Wait wait, we'll fight but in a second. We still haven't introduced ourselves."
"My na is Edward Avalon, son of Arthur and Elizabeth. The one who will murder you all in a second," said Ed while bowing towards them. The four commanders seed unimpressed, but they put their weapons away and did the sa as Ed.
"Maria," said the woman that seed to be acquainted with the man that was killed by Ed. She didn't bother to ask about his fate, as Ed's presence said everything.
"Alexander. By the way, kid, if this is your doing, you have bad taste." The old man said while looking around at the surroundings created by Ed's dinsion.
"Letif," The quiet young man said and went back to silence.
"Adriana," the silver-haired woman said. Before they could do anything, Ed looked at her and said, "Lilliana, the person that was sent to Aaragon. Was she your sister?" Just as Ed finished talking, Adriana rushed at him with an incredible speed.
She was told that her sister was killed in a horrific way, but she didn't know who did it. No one realized who Ed and the others were back in Aaragon since only the guards were still alive. She couldn't spare the ti to go back and interrogate the guards, and she couldn't even recover her sister's body since Ed had incinerated everything in the castle.
"YOU I WILL NEVER FORGIVE!" Adriana approached him at a speed unlike any he had seen before. However, he had done his job, as he riled her up enough so she wouldn't be able to focus on fighting.
"I'm the one that will never forgive you for your deeds." Ed's expression turned into a serious one as he withdrew Shusui. Those that saw the weapon rembered it and put on their guard, except Adriana. She continued her charge even though she saw Ed preparing to attack. She tried to use her speed to catch him before he could finish preparing, but she failed, as just as she was in front of him, he released a flying slash.
"Kuh!" Adriana frowned as she blocked it with both her hands, making her retreat tens of ters to the back. Then, she did a movent with her hands, as if slashing with them, causing the slash to dissipate.
"Is that all you can do?!" she shouted and approached him again. Ed's slash didn't injure her, as only a patch of red skin appeared on her delicate arms.
"Of course not," said Ed as appeared behind her, attacking her with another flying slash. But, before he could do anything more, he was attacked by Alexander. The old man's speed was more terrifying than Adriana, as he pursued Ed without lagging behind.
"So, level four, five, six and seven. Did you guys decide on this order of cultivation level or is it a coincidence?" said Ed as he studied their levels. All of them were above Immortal Establishnt level 4, which ans stronger than Edgar who fought Arthur.
"As expected, it's too much even for , hmph!" Ed barely dodged an attack by Maria, who seed to use her hands instead of a weapon. Adriana recovered and assaulted Ed back with a rapier in her hands.
"Oh? Why are you retreating, Sir Alexander?" Ed found it odd, as he saw Alexander sheathing his Nodachi and retreating to the back.
"I do not wish to kill you in such a state." Ed thought about it and finally understood. Alexander was talking about fighting one on one, but in this case, Ed was already fighting two at once. Alexander retreated once others interfered.
"I don't really mind, you know?"
"I'm glad you don't because I'm not as chivalrous." Letif appeared behind Ed with a saber in his hands. He attacked him so many tis per second that Ed actually got a couple of cuts on his abdon and arms.
Maria then attacked Ed with a high kick, which he guarded with his shoulder, sending him flying. He crashed a couple of tis on the ground, and when he got up he found Adriana trying to stab his eyes. He escaped by using a short teleport.
"Okay, ti out! Just like I said, this is too much for right now. But of course, I know my limits, so why did I co here to fight you people at once?" Ed's words hinted that he had a trump card, making his opponents put up their guard even more.
'Activate the Berserk skill,' Ed spoke to the system in his mind.
[Are you sure? We didn't try it out you know?] The system asked him, knowing what his answer would be.
'It's okay. We're the only ones here, so I won't hurt anyone before collapsing.'
[Alright.]
All of a sudden, the commanders could feel Ed's power increasing.
Immortal Establishnt level 1.
Immortal Establishnt level 2
Immortal Establishnt level 3
Immortal Establishnt level 4!
"Aaah! I can still think straight hahaha!" Ed's outburst of laughter shocked the commanders. Even his voice carried hints of his power-up.
"Really, my luck was really good," Ed spoke as he looked at a skill in his status.
