Chapter 1191: Chapter 1082: Not a Mortal

Not long after.

Sowhere within the quiet expanse of dark space.

An endless gloom swallowed all light and scrutiny, leaving nothing to be found.

A pitch-black door stood erect in the darkness, with rolling black fog gushing forth from it.

In front of the pitch-black door, a humanoid form suddenly appeared, as if shaped from the black fog, now solid, kneeling before the door.

“Black Spirit pays respects to the master above.”

The figure made of black fog spoke respectfully, saying: “To report to the master above, the Lamp of Origin has ignited the Fla of Darkness… Divine Jumper’s words… have co true.”

“… Master, it should be Black Spirit who lit the lamp wick, my wisp of black smoke, a secret eye, ignited the Fla of Darkness, becoming the lamp wick!”

Excitent tinged the voice.

Within the pitch-black door, so mysterious power seed to be flowing, and in an instant, it was as though all causal connections of ti had been reviewed before this mysterious force.

“The Dark Mist Fla has indeed been lit… Observing the causality, it indeed relates to you, had you not laid the black smoke in the Forbidden World, this black fla would not have been able to ignite…”

From within the pitch-black door, a whisper emanated, clarifying all causality.

Upon hearing this, the figure known as Black Spirit beca even more excited, saying:

“Master above… do you require your subordinate to fetch this Dark Mist Fla for you… to present to you…?”

Black Spirit was well aware that although it had lit the lamp, the matters involved with the Fla of Darkness were not sothing it could spy on.

Only the entity within the door… was qualified!

The mysterious voice, however, spoke indifferently:

“Only when the twelve lamps are lit can the Dark Origin reerge… It is still early, no need to rush.”

Black Spirit nodded, but a trace of worry surfaced on its face, saying:

“Master, has Divine Jumper… foreseen all of this? Could this be part of his plot?”

The voice inside the door said:

“You are not foolish.”

“The ability of the Fla of Darkness to ignite… indeed has so connection to him.”

“After all, had it not been for him… the Fla of White Mist would not have been extinguished back then, the Dark Origin within the Lamp of Origin would have long been burnt away, and the Forbidden World would have beco the Pure Land of Life that we cannot tread upon.”

“Naturally, there would be no ignition of the Dark Mist Fla today.”

Hearing this, Black Spirit was shocked, never imagining… that all this truly related to Divine Jumper!

“Is he… helping us?”

But at the sa ti, Black Spirit was very puzzled.

After all, given what was said… without Divine Jumper, they would now be incapable of dealing with the Forbidden World.

Yet behind the door, a faint cold laugh could be heard:

“Help? He rely wished to save soone…”

“That person exhausted his own White Mist Origin, as well as the Dark Origin stolen from the ‘Dark Firmant,’ to forge the Lamp of Origin.”

“Igniting the Fla of White Mist certainly could burn away the Dark Origin, transforming the Forbidden World into the Pure Land of Life, beyond our reach… but that would also be akin to burning his own life away.”

Hearing this, Black Spirit’s mind filled with queries, his existence being created not long ago relative to the river of ti, making these matters… hard to comprehend for him.

But, he roughly understood that a mighty being had crafted the Lamp of Origin, the Fla of White Mist ignited, able to render the darkness powerless!

And Divine Jumper, unwilling to witness that mighty being sacrifice himself… thus extinguished the Fla of White Mist?

Yet, the thought made him anxious in an instant…

The one who forged the Lamp of Origin, isn’t that the one upon the Dark Throne today?! Was his background so significant?!

He had once crafted the Lamp of Origin and was saved by Divine Jumper? But how did he die…

Within this lay an endless fog of history, elusive and enigmatic.

He couldn’t help asking:

“… Master above, the one you speak of… is it the person upon the Dark Throne? His presence always leaves us sowhat uneasy, who exactly is he?…”

“Since he has been killed, why allow him to be reborn in darkness, instead of annihilating him completely…?”

Behind the door, the voice indifferently stated:

“It is him.”

“Regarding all about him… ask no further, you only need to know, he does not lie, if he were to lie, we would naturally sense it.”

“He is an eye, an eye we all watch—that undying body of his!”

Upon hearing this, the figure of black fog beca even more startled.

The entity behind the door, when ntioning the one upon the Dark Throne… seed to bear no contempt at all!

Moreover, for the entity behind the door, what in this world can’t be observed? Can’t be listened to? Yet, they do not observe that undying body directly…

Rather, they monitor through the one seated upon the Dark Throne?

The existence behind the door, can’t… or doesn’t dare to directly look at that figure?

Great waves surged in its heart!

But suddenly it rembered, the undying being on the Dark Throne… wasn’t it a mortal?!

With a strong sense of resolve, it said:

“My lord, we have already had the person on the Dark Throne test his other self, but his other self… seems to be a mortal, only at the Nascent Soul realm…”

Upon hearing this, the space behind the door fell silent, then suddenly an alard voice ca forth, saying:

“You tested him?! Are you insane?!…”

The mysterious voice within the door seed to carry a deep sense of fear, crying out desperately:

“If his other self wakes up… it’s all over, everything’s finished. Do you realize what you are doing? Are you freaking mad?!”

The Black Spirit was shocked upon hearing this. What was going on…?

Wasn’t the undying being a mortal? Why would it make the existence behind the door… feel fear?

Could it be…

Mistaken?!

Was it not a mortal?!

Hisss… had it been deceived?!

At this mont, it suddenly felt an impulse to hide away, to conceal itself for trillions of years before discussing further!

“My lord… your servant knows its sins! Your servant knows its sins!”

It knocked its head on the ground in terror, and thumping sounds echoed in the darkness.

The door, too, remained silent for a long ti, as if to suppress emotions, then slowly said:

“Fortunately… fortunately there hasn’t been any trouble yet…”

“Rember, you must not probe into that figure again!”

“Especially… you must not harm anyone related to him, you absolutely must not!!”

The Black Spirit hurriedly nodded, saying:

“The Black Spirit understands, it will definitely rember!”

It felt as if it had been granted amnesty, yet it tentatively asked:

“My lord… then, should your servant hide for now, for say, a few billion years, would that be okay?”

What a joke. Now it vaguely knew that the undying being might be extrely terrifying. How could it have the gall to harm anyone related to that figure…

It just wanted to survive at all costs!

“No.”

The voice from the pitch-black door said:

“You need to keep an eye on the Fla of Darkness, for it will continue to ignite, and the Dark Origin will gradually manifest…”

“…Once, so of the most powerful amongst us were sealed by that person, including my ancestor… The Dark Origin will attract them…”

“Find them!”

Hearing this, the Black Spirit’s face turned grim, but still gritting its teeth, it said:

“The Black Spirit obeys!”

After the Black Spirit left.

The door did not disappear. The causal river appeared, as if being repeatedly perused.

“…Back then, he was invincible under the Dark Firmant, repressing the ages, even the Dark Origin was snatched by him and refined into the Lamp of Origin…”

“If the Fla of White Mist from the Lamp of Origin completes its burning in an epoch, then the Forbidden World will produce the rules that can devour the darkness, turning into a Pure Land that even the darkness dare not to touch again…”

“Unexpectedly… he could sacrifice himself but chose to save those ants, giving up everything, dispersing his origin, and the Lamp of Origin was not relit… he even fell into the darkness himself.”

There were whispers behind the door, murmuring:

“Perhaps we should be thankful that he still has people he cares about, still has his Reverse Scale… otherwise, the ‘Dark Firmant’ would probably have been destroyed, and who knows how many Stars of Darkness would have remained…”

“The Forbidden World of today has long beco the Pure Land of Life that even darkness dares not to touch… we would have perished long ago.”

“His final self is only there to protect those people, so as long as we don’t target the ones he tried his best to save, don’t provoke him… he will not wake up.”

“At least, before obtaining the Dark Origin that he took and infused into the Lamp of Origin… we must not target him, we must not kill those around him…”

“Otherwise, if such an existence no longer has attachnts…”

The voice behind the door abruptly stopped, as if unwilling to contemplate such a situation, and the pitch-black door completely vanished.

Struggled for two days, just to eke out these two chapters.
