"Kehinde (Okududu), No. 2, defender. Iyang Jas (Tizzy), No. 3, defender. Madugbugo Chinoso (Yung Tizzle), No. 22, defender. Kofo (Ghana Boi), No. 5, defender," Mystic called out, and as each na was ntioned, their details appeared on the hovering screen under the "Defenders" section.
"Jimoh Olusegun (Jezzy Vingz), No. 4, midfielder. Peter Lambert (Ricky Lambert), No. 6, midfielder. Mojo, No. 7, midfielder/winger. Peter Oyebuchi (Omo Igbo), No. 8, midfielder. Iyanda Sunday (Bhola), No. 10, midfielder. Ogunsalu Damilare (Tasty), No. 9, striker."
With that, Mystic finalized the positions for all eleven players, as conversations broke out among the boys as they discussed their assigned roles, before leaving them alone, Mystic reminded them to report to the training facility by 8 a.m. sharp the next day, as any latecors would have their training intensity doubled.
After the brutal training they’d just endured through the day, the threat of an "increased training" sent a chill through their bones, determined to avoid such a fate, each of them silently vowed to show up on ti.
After leaving such ssage Mystic made his way to the Manager’s office, while the boys made their way to the bathroom to shower and get refreshed before leaving, once alone in the manager’s office, Mystic opened the new system tab now accessible to him:
[Players Tab – Talent Section]
Kado Daniels (1) – Epic
Kehinde Okududu (2) – Common
Iyang Jas (3) – Common
Madugbugo Chinoso (22) – Common
Kofo (5) – Common
Jimoh Olusegun (4) – Rare
Peter Lambert (6) – Uncommon
Daniel Mojo (7) – Rare
Peter Oyebuchi (8) – Uncommon
Iyanda Sunday (10) – Uncommon
Ogunsalu Damilare (9) – Rare
Mystic blinked in surprise as he examined their talent ranks, especially when he saw Kado listed as Epic.
In this world, the recognized talent hierarchy ranged from Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, to Legendary.
The "Myth" talent rank was just that, a myth like its na, though spoken of in theory but never confird.
To think he had a player just one step below Legendary talent left Mystic feeling like he’d struck gold, but as his eyes drifted down to the defensive line-up, his excitent dimd, seeing as all his four defenders marked as Common talent left him with a sinking feeling.
That defence line might just beco his biggest headache.
They were all of the Common rank, but Mystic’s mood quickly shifted when he checked the midfielders.
Out of the five, three were Uncommon, and two were Rare talent, which was a solid boost to his morale, in fact those three already shared the sa talent bracket as Adekunle, who had left the club for Bariga Young Boyz.
To Mystic, this felt like a win, even more promising was his new striker, Tasty, who ranked as a Rare talent, which is two full tiers above Adekunle.
That ant if Tasty ever caught up with him in rank and level, Tasty would definitely outshine him by a considerable margin.
Feeling optimistic, Mystic moved on to check his mission rewards:
[ 500 Player Coins for completing daily training missions]
[Players’ Improvent Stats]
Kado – Lvl 1 (8/10)

Madugbugo Chinoso – Lvl 1 (2/10)
Kofo – Lvl 0 (2/10)
Jimoh Olusegun – Lvl 3 (6/40)
Peter Lambert – Lvl 5 (4/100)

Peter Oyebuchi – Lvl 2 (4/20)
Iyanda Sunday – Lvl 5 (4/100)
Ogunsalu Damilare – Lvl 5 (6/100)
From just the first training session, Mystic could already tell that the system had a real-ti impact on the players’ progression, but sothing caught his attention, despite undergoing the sa training, the experience gains varied across players.
"Can you explain how this works, X?" Mystic asked, since he was now locked in his office, he could finally speak freely with his AI assistant without anyone looking at him weird, he had sent his uncle ho earlier after the end of the daily training, which ensured his privacy now.
[X: The experience process involves several factors, at your current stage, the most critical is player talent, if you noticed, the higher the player’s talent, the more experience they gained, but talent isn’t the only factor at play.]
[X: There’s also the coach factor, but since you’re currently just an Amateur-ranked coach, the best experience multiplier you can provide is x2. That ans every ti they train under you, they receive double the experience value, so, you should hurry up and upgrade your rank to help them level up faster.]
X finished the explanation by raising its two tentacle-like hands in the air, showing a level of enthusiasm that might have even surpassed Mystic’s, the display made Mystic smirk before he pulled up his system status to see what had changed.

Mystic frowned slightly as he saw how little experience he’d gained, it would take a while before he reached the next coaching level unless he went on another signing spree, and now that he thought about it, having only the starting eleven wasn’t enough.
As he thought ’What if soone got injured? There would be no one to fill the bench, and that wouldn’t look good for the team at all’.
He began to think deeply about other potential players he knew from his past life that played against or with the players he had accumulated, though he felt they might not have matched the talent level of his first signings, but he knew they were skilled enough to make a difference.
With that in mind, Mystic recalled two nas he had overlooked the first ti, as he wrote them down with the intention to pass them on to his uncle so he could forward them to Viper.
As for the third player in his mind, he didn’t need Viper to handle that one, as he already had the perfect person in mind to help bring him in, and that was because the third person in question was Jimoh Olusegun’s brother.
After confirming that their experience points had increased both in level and in the talent section, Mystic felt a sense of satisfaction.
Although he had learned it would take a long ti for the talent section to fully fill up unlike their levels, since only then could his players evolve their talent ran
k to the next stage, but regardless he was still pleased that they were making steady progress.
