Chapter 734: [Impending Disaster (4)]
“What about your side?”
Aileen asked.
Sara smiled bitterly.
“Sa. Just like what the Princess said, the Winter Solstice would cause the evolution of these monsters to rise another level. The monsters in the D and E Regions are getting stronger every damn minute! According to our assumptions, several monster ethnic groups are gathering at a large scale, all consist of many different beasts and monsters. And always, one of them will appear and organize a group as if it was a King! It’s truly troubleso!” Sara sighs.
“I saw a monster acting like a King and its power is at least at the peak of the Bishop Class.”
“A peak of the Bishop Class?!”
Aileen’s eyes narrowed.
This is indeed troubleso.
Three Heavy Class starts from Bishop, Queen, and King.
Bishop Class is now considered as a Calamity Class Monster that can level an entire city with ease even if the City possesses several Hero rank Superhumans present.
Queen Class is considered the Disaster Class Monsters and one of the greatest tribulations that a human being could encounter. A nation or two would be easily be annihilated even with the protection of one or two average King rank Superhumans.
And lastly, the King Class Monsters.
They are well known as Apocalyptic Monsters whose power is almost comparable to the legendary Monster Kings!
One King Class Monster King, even two or three King rank Superhumans would have a hard ti defeating.
Fortunately, these kinds of Monsters are not that common and can even be said to be extrely rare. In fact, in the entire world, there are only less than five of those known to be Queen Class in the world, much less a King Class Monster. They truly had never seen one before. Only in records, one that is compiled from the 'forr world'.
A Monster like a troubleso Orc King or a Goblin King can only reach up to Bishop Class and yet they are still able to create intense headaches for the Dawn Alliance. Even Daniel and Mark never dared underestimate these monsters even with their powers that can already be considered the peak of this world, only second to the legendary Monster Kings!
“We have never seen these monsters before and yet now… they are starting to pop out all of a sudden.”
“Do you think they are from another world…?”
At this mont, another voice rang out.
Aileen turned around and sees Flor ndez walking casually towards them.
Around her was a large pile of dismbered bodies of monsters and beasts.
“Flor!”
Aileen grinned happily.
Forrly known as Philippine’s Jack the Ripper turned into [Black Swordsman] due to holding one of the strongest cursed weapons in the world; [Tartanos]. Though, after becoming the sixth strongest Superhuman in the World, she was hailed as the [Sword King Tartanos].
Flor was one of her oldest and closest friends, hailing from the sa country; the Philippines. And just like her and Sara, she was also a mber of the elders of the Bianchi Family, possessing authority not less than Lieri Del Con, the direct subordinate of Mia.
“Space Rift? But there’s no disturbance or strange mana fluctuation occurring lately…”
“But the appearance of these monsters is just too strange! They can’t appear out of thin air,”
“I agree with Flor. These Bishop Class Monsters just can’t appear out of nowhere!” Sara gravely muttered.
“But from what we know only the [Frost Dragon] and the [Ice Wolf] would appear from the rift…and their suspected arrival is still a few weeks later. This is still the beginning of the Winter Solstice…Space Rift opening and then spewing out Bishop Class Monsters is impossible, if you ask ." Aileen frowned. But then suddenly, she thought of sothing, "However, if what you said is right… then, in the middle and later stages of this ti’s Winter Solstice, wouldn’t’ a Queen or even worst, a King Rank Monster would appear, aside from the two apocalyptic beasts?!”
Thinking about the possibilities, Aileen, Sara, and even Flor felt their hearts twist and their nerves tremble.
If that happens, would not the world be over already…?
At this very mont, Aileen and the others finally realized why, in the forr world, the Winter Solstice was the greatest catastrophe the world had ever faced prior to the Demon Invasion. Even leading them to beco helpless in the Demon Invasion even with the powers and abilities of many powerful superhuman including the Ten Kings!
Not only facing the incomprehensible power of the Demons and Demon Generals, but they were also badly beaten by the Winter Solstice.
Even if they have forrly possessed 40 % percent chance to win the war, due to the Winter Solstice, they were beaten to less than 10% or worse 5%...which is already helpless beyond cure!
Even if they managed to avoid confrontation against the two Apocalyptic Beasts, the monsters that had appeared out of nowhere are still a danger that could wipe out humanity on the surface of the world!
Aileen, Sara, and Flor finally realized the gravity of the problem they are facing.
It’s not just about personal power. Even with several King Class Superhumans, they could be wiped out at any given mont.
The cold during the Winter Solstice was indeed rather chilly as even Aileen and the other’s power level; they could still feel the cold. With a sigh, Aileen tightened up her collar to alleviate the cold. If not for the special clothes they were wearing, surely, they would be freezing to death, or at least, limit their movents.

All of a sudden, she felt certain moisture on the top of her eyelids. She looked up and wondered when these fine, delicate snowflakes started falling from the sky again. Probably due to it still being the starting stage of the Winter Solstice, the snowflakes would stop for a while.
The elegant, gently falling snowflakes that descended upon the ground seed like fine hairs, coating the ground, trees, and people.
“Captain, look!”
As Aileen and the others were talking, suddenly a mber of Aileen’s group cried out in an urgent tone.
His voice carried shock and astonishnt.
The three girls and the rest of the team also followed suit. Their gazes followed the man’s finger and finally saw the leader of the monsters, or at least the acting leader of them.
This wolf was completely different from the other wolves they had seen before. Its body was enormous probably reaching five and above ters tall, and its sleek black fur was rare within the wolves due to its tallic shine. On its wrists and ankles were flas burning, acting like a mane or sort.
However, the most frightening thing was that this wolf was standing!
“A Werewolf?!”
Sara shrieked.
However,
“It’s not!”
Flor denied while shaking her head. Her gaze was serious and solemn. She had seen true Werewolves before and the aura coming from the monster before them was completely different. It was like a beast morphing into a bipedal monster, developing extrely high wisdom and intelligence.
And this monster is surely one of them!
This wolf would occasionally fall onto its four claws, but it spent most of its ti standing like a human. It was using high and low pitched growls as well as its front claws to command the groups of rotting wolves.
Sara who was part beast with her [Manticore Physiology] felt her expression darkened. She listened for a long ti before sighing and saying, “There are at least forty different syllables! If these syllables were assembled together, it will basically be a language. Is that really just a wolf?”
It’s almost like a human.
Even the glow of its eyes was completely bright like star lights!
“Of course it’s just a beast. If it’s not, then this kind of number wave tactics would not be deployed as it would only be seen as wasting forces. If it were a bit more intelligent, it would have been even more distressing!”
Aileen shrugs as she sent another group of monsters to King Yama before appearing in her forr position as if she had not moved at all.
“…Besides, it’s not that strange for a beast to speak. Nowadays, anything can happen… In any case, we need to find a way to kill it!”
Just as she spoke, a divine light broke through the skies within the boundless mountain, and a chaotic mist surged violently.
The mountain range trembled violently.
It’s as if the heavens and the earth quaked in fear. Everyone was scared and overwheld. At this mont, their souls began to throb as many of them kneeled onto the floor.
ROOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR—RRRRR!!!!
A sudden roar shocked the land.
The loud roar could be heard even from the outermost regions of the boundless mountain range. The weaker ones in the group of Aileen, Sara, and Flor who were fighting the beasts suddenly stopped along with the beasts and monsters that lay in the ground, prostrating, imdiately began to feel weak, and many of them almost fell onto the ground.
The monsters and beasts, even the werewolf-like monster fell down on the ground. They were shivering non-stop, and they were so terrified that they didn’t even dare lift their heads as they kowtowed towards the desolate lands.
At the farthest ends of the mountain range, dreadful auras shocked the world. Just like the birth of a new world, fire sotis pierced into the heavens, black mists sotis covered the sun, and sotis an iron rod would fly across the vast sky, even the snowy winter seed to have stopped, as the thick clouds above were pierced by sothing…
CRYAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH—HHHHH!!!
Suddenly, from the other side of the heart of the mountain range, a blazing light shot into the heavens. An enormous red bird appeared as it battled with another frightening creature in a world-shaking battle.
This indeed was a world-shaking battle.
If not for the strong foundation of these mountains and forest after the Cataclysm, it would be hard to imagine the state these lands would be in right now.
CRYAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH—HHHHH!!!
In this chaotic mist-like cold fog, a bird cry once again pierced the heavens. The enormous fiery red bird fought angrily against its opponent that looks like a monstrous gorilla and sotis a giant winged-lion in close-quarters. This is not a duel, apparently—not even a fight between one or two creatures. But a battle royal of many beasts and monsters.
Due to the distance, Aileen and the other could not see clearly but the fluctuations and explosions were could be heard clearly along with the silhouettes on the horizon.
The enormous fiery bird that seed to look like a Phoenix, controlled scarlet flas that pierced the heavens to cook half of the sky in unbearable heat.
ROOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR—RRRRR!!!!
A large roar shook heaven and earth. Its opponent swallowed mountains and rivers, and it possessed a majestic aura that overlooked the world.
Multi-colored light exploded into the heavens to suppress the blazing fire in the sky.
If anyone was here, they would be left dumbstruck.
CRYAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH—HHHHH!!!
A painful cry of a bird rang out, creating shockwaves all over the desolate land of thick snow. Apparently, it was attacked by sothing.
The enormous red bird’s opponent was also a huge bird that sounded just like a beast. It swayed the mountains and rivers, it was already a miracle that everything seed to manage to hold on and not completely disturbed.
WOOOOSH.
Its huge wings covered the sky, and like a black cloud, it concealed the heavens. It unexpectedly dimd the scarlet fire by a great amount, and a pair of huge talons probed downwards in an attempt to grab the other fiery bird.
That vicious bird was too big, and it filled the entire sky. The pair of feathered wings lying across the sky covered a hundred thousand mountains. Its strength was trendous, and it made the human’s souls shiver with fear.
“How could this be…?!”
“How is this possible?!!”
“Oh my God!!”
Aileen and the others were flabbergasted as they watched the epic battle unfolding.
Everyone’s bodies shook and shivered.
That was the most powerful pressure they’ve ever faced, and it made them involuntarily kowtow and worship.
How frightening were these creatures? Everyone was cold from head to toe. A few people thought back to when they still had thoughts of investigating the mountains; those truly were thoughts belonging to those who were tired of living!
It was fortunate that they backed off!
Run!
This was what everyone thought within their heart. In this desolate land, staying still for even a mont could increase the dangers by tenfold. If they ssed up by even a small bit, they would cease to exist.
Aileen and the others felt their faces paled as they imdiately turned around and run.
Their best choice of action was to turn back and escape as quickly as possible.
Fortunately, with the appearance of these monsters, the beast horde around them was paralyzed in fear, shivering in the ground. Their fear took over them, causing them to completely forgotten about Aileen and the others.
No, why would they care about these humans…?!
Only one thought appeared in their minds—Spare , Great Lord!! Please don’t co here!!
The elite mbers of the group were frightened. Even their Captains; Aileen, Sara, and Flor respectively felt enormous fear and were fleeing for their lives back to Italica, and none of them wanted to be near this place for a second longer.
Dodom!
Dodododom!!!
BOoooooMMM!!
Suddenly, in the middle of the boundless mountain range. A world-shaking sound was produced. Rubble penetrated the sky as they busted in mid-air. A chaotic mist began to spread, covering the entire mountain range.
An immortal light rushed towards the heavens, and auspicious vapors surged up as they arrived in front of the open skies. It was like the birth of the most valuable treasure since the creation of the world.
It floated and sank there and it shook the entire desolate region.
There—a large slit appeared in the sky as if it was slashed out by a sharp sword.
“A Space Rift…?!!”
But isn't this too soon?!
At this mont, no one needed to say anything.
Everyone knew that this was certainly… the worst news possible!!
With a rumbling sound, the far side of the mountain range began to boil, and the battle increased in ferocity. The incomprehensibly powerful beings were fighting life and death, and their battle seed to have beco even fiercer the mont the Space Rift occurred.
Aileen and the others felt a foreboding of fear and anxiety building up within them as they run back at Italica as soon as possible!
