Chapter 646: [Taking a risk(2)]
As Allen was thinking of what to do next, Dakna and the Mummy Lord had finished what they are doing and walked towards him.
“Good work,” Allen turned toward them, and greeted them with a warm smile.
“It’s my honor to be of use to My Lord,”
“Hehe, protecting master is my duty and purpose!”
The Mummy Lord and Dakna responded imdiately. though their expression displayed confidence and pride of what they had said. And this caused Allen feel extrely touched. He was really blessed to have such people with him. However, sadly, he has sothing much more important to do.
Allen turned towards the Mummy Lord. “Nefereferu, I’ll summon you back for a while. I want to go there but I don’t think you would be able to endure the heat.”
He pointed at the Sea of Magma.
“My Lord?!”
“Master?!”
The Mummy Lord and Dakna exclaid in shock. They hurriedly tried to stop him from going, and tried to change his mind. After all, swimming in a sea of magma is extrely dangerous and who knows what was in there. However, Allen had already decided on it and so they could only give up. Despite desperately wanting to stop him, the Mummy Lord and Dakna know how stubborn Allen can be the mont he had made his mind. Hence, they could only sigh and agree.
Although the Mummy Lord wanted to remain and make sure nothing bad happens to Allen, he indeed cannot endure the heat anymore if he plunged in that sea of Magma. He then turned into a golden light and shot towards the Summoning Grimoire.
"Now then..." Allen lowered his head and looked at the endless magma.
"What can this place give ? Adventure? Or Danger? Or both, perhaps?"
Solemnness flashed onto his face. He was uncertain about just how deep this underground magma was because his perception seed to be blocked by sothing he couldn’t understand. It was not being banned like the one the 13th layer has, since he could still use it on the surface.
More like it was being suppressed… whether it was by a creature or the Dungeon itself.
And what exactly is the source of this tugging sensation?
Allen examined the Sea of Magma. One must possess an unusually powerful strength if one wanted to enter deep within it. This was because there was a great pressure from the already hot magma, sothing that an ordinary expert would not be able to endure.
If he isn’t mistaken, one must require at least the strength of a Peak Mid God Realm if one wanted to enter the bottom of this magma. An ordinary Mid God or soone without powerful magical power on them would likely have their fortune hang in the balance if they were to head down.
Of course, Allen and Dakna was an exception. Aside from the fact that he was already a 2nd Grade Mid God, his body was that of a true Dragon and even tougher than the normal. Furthermore, there was the Firebird within him that was always protecting him from any kind of heat and flas.
As for Dakna, she was a True Fla Dragon. She might not be able to treat this sea of Magma like a hot a spring, similar to which she would often subrge herself on any other Magma world she had gone into. However, it was certain that she can still endure it without a problem. Despite this, her expression still displays a very worried expression as she looks at Allen. She was really uncertain of this action. In fact, if it was soone else who had proposed such a thing, she would surely think of them as having a loose screws on their head, and kick them, hoping she could fixed whatever had been broken inside their heads.
Sadly, this is her most beloved Master.
“Master, are you really going to do it? It might really be dangerous! How about I went in first and see if—”
“No,” Allen cut her off. He smiled, reached out and stroke her head with a gentle expression, “I’m going to be fine. I’m not that fragile to succumb to this bit of temperature…”
While saying that, from within his body, crimson flas started appearing. Finally, it wrapped all around his body. From a distance, it was as though he was a cluster of burning crimson flas.
“Let’s go?”
“…okay,” Dakna sighs.
Whatever happens... I'll give my life if needed be to protect my Master.
With a wry smile, her body suddenly transford into her Demi-Dragon form as blood-red scales appeared from her skin and covered it. A pair of horns appeared at each side of herface, coiling around her like so sort of a hair ornant. In fact, if one didn’t look closely at it, they would just think it was just a hair ornant or braids ford by hair going backwards. Her body was covered by a thin crimson light covering her wholly like so sort of halo.
Allen smiled at her and then—Splash!! Without hesitation, he and Dakna entered the viscous magma. His feet had just fallen into the magma. However, his body was sinking at a very slow rate. The magma had an unusually viscous texture compared to real water—though Allen had already expected that just by knowing its composition.
It’s magma for freaking sake… If a warrior were quick enough with his feet, they might even be able to run atop the magma.
“So hot!” Allen couldn’t help but think of this as he felt as if his legs had stepped into a blazing brazier. Although he was protected by the Firebird’s true essence, the burning ache was like a blazing knife cutting through him. Almost unbearable. Even his body which was tougher and stronger than normal True Dragons was still affected greatly by the Magma Sea!
Well, although indeed he is a Dragon but the very least, he wasn’t that of a Fire Dragon but a Lagiacrus, a Leviathan who was in the water affinity. His endurance to fire is among the lowest of the True Dragon Races. Despite expecting a bit of a problem, never did he expect that he would still have trouble adapting and enduring the Magma Sea.
If not for the Firebird’s characteristics he had usurped from it and support from its core essence, he would surely be in real dipshit by now…!
“Haaa…” Allen smiled wryly.
Now for the real thing... His eyes glead and black-blue colored scales started protruding on top of his skin as he slowly transford into his Demi-Dragon form. Though, unlike Dakna’s, his has no pair of bat-like wings on the back and instead, was full of protruding sharp blue spikes with black markings that resembled a tribal tattoo.
Whether it was his arms, legs, back and the long reptilian tail swaying behind him, there were several sharp spikes that can be seen on them, appearing nacing compared to Dakna’s transformation—though, it has strange beauty and charm on them that caused even Dakna to stare at Allen’s transformation with sparkling eyes, seemingly moved and excited.
Although she loves Allen’s original form, she still likes seeing his Dragon form more. She would often act like a fangirl whenever Allen appeared in this kind of form. Was it because she was a Dragon, hence she wanted her beloved master to be looking like one as well…? Innate preferential taste?

Although Allen’s demi-dragon form couldn’t ignore the Magma Sea’s horrifying pressure and heat like Dakna’s and in fact was quite invulnerable to it, even still, it gave him a cool feeling on his skin and so kind of comfort. As for defending against the Magma Sea’s horrors, that was the work of the Firebird, causing him to turn into a blazing demi-dragon.
With the transformation into his Demi-Dragon form, the resistance of the magma sea began to decline. Taking a deep breath, Allens’ entire body imdiately plunged into the fiery lava pond. Waves of bubbles rose and swiftly exploded. Like so kind of gunpowder suddenly sparked, exploding. After which, the seemingly endless magma world once again descended into a deathly silence.
The hot temperature and the pressure imdiately surged from all directions after Allen and Dakna entered the magma world. It was as though it wanted to squeeze them into at paste. However, after powerful energy poured out of their bodies, the resistance from the outside world beca much weaker and almost turned unnoticeable…
Allen’s body paused for a mont before he carefully looked once around him.
In the world of lava, the scalding hot glowing red light was everywhere; visibility was almost zero. Allen could even barely see his hands. The Firebird then revolved its energy around Allen to condense into a sort of energy clothing that covered his body and even Allen’s eyes, they were replaced by a red bird’s eyes in order to let him see around him.
Using his [Setsurigan], he was able to make use of Fia’s eyes as if it was his own, despite the Firebird only sharing its ability and…normally would only make him at least see two to three ters around him. But now, he was able to see at the very least, beyond ten-ter range. Even with this though, Allen could still feel pain like sizzling needles as the flow of heat traveled through his energy clothing and dragon scales.
The Magma Sea is really… not sothing easy to deal with.
When he did not discover anything, Allen finally let out a soft sigh in his heart. Then, another problem ca out. Dakna might still be able to breathe in this environnt due to her race and affinity but Allen was different. It was not water nor sea but a sea of magma. He would have no problem breathing underwater but this is the sea of Magma. He couldn’t breathe at all.
Although he can ward off the pressure and heat from the Magma, he still needed to breathe since he was a living being. Thus, without any choice, he could only shut down all his living requirents such as breathing and pain by activating his [ Lifeless Physique ]. Monts like this, Allen was grateful that he had such a convenient ability.
Sighing in relief, he snaps his fingers and a wisp of invisible fla slowly appeared like a ball of light within the darkness.
The appearance of this wisp of fla suddenly caused the place to beco hot and bright. After which, the fla shifted slightly before aiming at a deep region of magma. Allen turned towards Dakna and nodded, “Let’s go,” His body turned into a crimson figure that carried so doubt in its heart as he dived deeper. He beca like a fish entering the sea as he penetrated the viscous magma. An invisible fla was visible a couple of ters in front of him, acting like a guide…
Allen knew very little about this magma sea. The only thing that he knew is that this place seed to be a Dungeon—but even with that, this dungeon is still a wonder for the creator Roia. Who had created this Dungeon? Who has the power enough to slip into this independent space without her noticing?
Okay, let’s say I had expected this… Allen couldn’t help but smile wryly as he the scene around him. Fishes and other creatures were actually swimming deep in the Magma Sea!
Although they don’t look real fishes and more like Dragon fish hybrids and lizard sea creatures mutated beings, it was still a sight to see.
Fishes with large fangs that look like deep-sea creatures and bodies full of tough and hard looking scales swam around Allen and Dakna without care. However, there were also those that look like Piranhas trying a bite out of them. Nevertheless, at most the level of these monsters were 2nd Grade level 3 and 4 and it wasn’t sothing Allen and Dakna would find trouble even deep in the Magma Sea.
As Allen and Dakna ignored the small fishes, those with considerable strength suddenly flashed their eyes the mont they saw them descending into the deeper part of Magma Sea. They let out faint cries and shrieks and rushed towards the, in a mad rage.
Dakna’s eyes narrowed, and she imdiately appeared in front of Allen and then, when she opened her mouth, a ball of crimson light appeared, turning into a massive flathrower burning those who were hit by it. The magma around teh fire, rolled over like water inside a washing machine, it was an incredible sight. Dakna turned her head and the fla breath as well followed, obliterating those surrounding them in a blink of an eye.
Explosions sounded out and the Magma Sea trembled. However, at this ti, Rooooaaaaarrr!! When the cry sounded, the crimson magma around them swiftly beca distorted. Imdiately, from within, a ferocious Dragon-like snake appeared with a maw full of sword-like fangs around the mouth, rushing towards Dakna from the left side. It let out a roar and transford into a light ray with a bang. Finally, it shot straight towards Dakna.
A deep spiraling tunnel appeared on the sea of magma where it passed, appearing like a bull plowing the fields.
Dakna’s eyes narrowed and clenched her silver teeth as she looked at the Dragon ferociously shooting over. It has the gall to challenge a True Dragon like her…?!
Fire energy swiftly ford a transparent wall in front of her.
Bang!! The Dragon Snake collided with the barrier. The sharp fire blades that comprised the barrier cut the Dragon until it repeatedly trembled. However, this did not successfully stop the Dragon’s attack.
It’s strong…! Dakna’s eyes widened slightly as she felt the opponent’s strength. It was actually able to contend in strength against her. Its power is beyond normal Lesser Deity Realm! Dakna finally realized the severity of the situation as well as the danger within the Magma Sea!
Both parties continued in this state for a mont. When suddenly, another roar appeared from behind. In just a matter of seconds, a monster’s roar rang out, which was getting closer and closer and in a blink of an eye, the monster which was almost identical to the one she was facing on the front appeared and its ferocious mouth bit down at Dakna’s head.
Dakna’s pretty face turned slightly solemn when she saw the Dragon in close proximity. However, it was not sothing she needed to worry, even if there were two or more, she wouldn’t be beaten that easily. She was just about to make her move when she was shocked to realize that her body had been entwined by an unusual black-colored creature.
What is this?! Dakna’s eyes widened. She actually didn’t discover anything up until now…!!
Bang!!! A sharp fire forming a claw shot over from the suddenly distorted space beside Dakna just when the Dragon was about to pounce onto her. It imdiately smashed into the Dragon, its scales on its head burst apart as it exploded.
“Master!” Dakna exclaid in pleasant surprise as a familiar figure appeared beside her. Allen smiled then his face turned towards the other Dragon—Fla Lances materializes in the magma sea and struck the snake-like Dragon monster.
After dealing with the Dragon Snake and the other monsters that surrounded them, Allen smiled slightly as he looked at Dakna’s pretty face. “Be careful, so of them is really strong—it seems like monsters in this magma sea is even stronger than the surface!”
After which, he slowly extended his hand and glanced at the black-colored creature that looks like a tapeworm that was entwined around her body. He grabbed the black tapeworm as a wisp of crimson fla covered on his hand before it runs towards it and slowly burned it into ashes, appearing like snow that had t fire as it swiftly lted.
“Yes, Master… I’ll be more careful!” Dakna nodded her head.
As the black-colored tapeworm monster on her body gradually disappeared, Dakna also once again recovered her freedom. Leading Dakna, Allen dived deeper. Although he doesn’t know how deep they were in already but that doesn’t matter for now. With his abilities, he could get back the surface without much problem. And if by an off chance sothing happened he could retreat to the Grimoire World and stay there.
Grimoire World, unlike Domain, was an almost independent world similar to this Dungeon and Roia’s Dungeon Domain and so, even if he was inside this Dungeon, there was no problem summoning it due to the fact that its Base Form and Catalyst was the Summoning Grimoire. Although this World banned elentals, it couldn’t affect magical items.
Even Magical items that possess other elental magic such as water whip or darkness shield or any magical items with different abilities—even if the 14th layer banned other elental energies aside from fire, it wouldn’t be affected.
The only thing that covered was the player’s personal power.
That is why he can still summon Dakna and the others from the Summoning Grimoire.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Two muffled sounds and two crimsoned scaled giant drakes that look like alligators were blown away with a scream! Allen waved his hand and the magma around him imdiately rolled around and then turning into a swirling tornado that swallowed up more than Magma Drakes that had surrounded them.
Magma Drakes, they look like hybrids of Alligators and Dragons with brilliant crimson scales. At this mont, more than 20 Magma Drakes were surrounding Allen and Dakna. Dakna’s body flickered and as though an arrow, she bolted toward those Magma Drakes. The sharp claws in her hand quickly slashed ruthlessly at the frontmost Magma Drakes at 10 ters away.
Boom…!! That Magma Drake had long been aware of the bolting Dakna. Its body quickly fell down to dive, trying to avoid Dakna’s strike. However, Dakna’s speed was extrely fast as claws split opened the sea’s surface and directly hit the Magma Drake’s back. In an instant, more than a dozen of Magma Drake nearby, locked onto Dakna as their target at the sa ti as they sward over toward her.
However, Dakna did not even look at them. Her eyes darting here and there. Slowly, she charged through the group without fear!
