Chapter 460: [ Qin’s Tragedy ]
Two incompatible soul essences were basically like enemies and they were usually extrely contradictory towards each other. If two types of incompatible elents soul essences were to exist in one person’s body, Hanjin could only think of one type of ending.
—That would be an ending where they would surely try to kill each other off, fighting till one last standing—and this will cause the host body to explode from within!
Then, how is this possible…?
Hanjin was uncertain why Allen could possess two incompatible types of Soul Essence at the sa ti. However, he could clearly sense that at the mont these two soul essences appeared, the originally docile energy seed in his bodies suddenly beca much more irritable. Even the dinsion and space itself trembled, seemingly afraid.
“Fuck, what kind of monster is this human supposed to be?!”
Hanjin continued to swear as he gasped rapidly. Clearly, he had received quite a blow from the reality that Allen could possess two conflicting kinds of Soul Essence and in such high grades too.
This guy can really make other people speechless!
His power was already way above the norm, and now even his talent was heaven-defying!
Then, suddenly Hanjin realized sothing.
“What is this guy thinking of doing by summoning them?” Hanjin was at a loss as he thought in his heart.
He eyed the incomprehensible monster in front of him. The delicate and handso face that was silently facing him, appeared to be faintly holding a sowhat insane smile.
As he watched the smile on Allen’s face, Hanjin trembled coldly.
Ignoring Hanjin’s reaction, Allen’s gaze stared intently at the two Soul Essences in his both hands. The corner of his mouth twitched slightly.
A mont later, he clenched his teeth. His hands carried the two conflicting kinds of Soul Essence and slowly drew them together towards the center.
“Damn! Lunatic! Bastard! Abnormal! This bastard is definitely crazy!”
Watching this action of Allen with a shocked gaze, Hanjin showed a manic expression and couldn’t help but scold loudly. This kind of action, how different is this from committing suicide?!
Every creature within the dinsion lifted their heads to watch what Allen was doing. At this mont, even the monsters, whose strength were weak, began to feel a little uneasy. A commotion began to spread throughout the monsters that were staying inside the Volcanic Forest.
“Stop him!”
Hanjin’s face gradually beca serious. Although he doesn’t know what Allen was going to do, his wild beast instinct was telling him to stop Allen at all costs. Imdiately, he waved his hand and said in a deep voice.
“What are all of you doing!! Stop him!!”
When they heard Hanjin’s give the order, the beasts around him, who were already waiting for it, flapped the wings on their backs imdiately. Their bodies instantly turned into rays of light that shot toward Allen. Ferocious expression burned in their faces and their eyes bloodshot!
In fact, even Hanjin with his Magma beasts forms also rushed at Allen. He can’t let Allen succeed no matter what!”
However, at this mont several lights appeared in front of Allen, standing protectively. Lan, Qin, Grafilia, and Fiona stood in front of their master without fear.
“You dare disturb my master!!?”Awoooooohhh!!!—Grafilia roared angrily and her body expanded, turning into her massive wolf form. Electric sparks appeared around her as her blood-colored eyes glead ominously!
Kill!
“If you touch my master, I will kill you!!” Fiona also cried out furiously. She flapped her wings and rushed towards the incoming beasts like a tiger jumping on is prey.
“Sister Qin, go and protect Master. I will handle this monster. No matter what happens, we have to stall so ti for master!” Unlike the hot-headed Fiona, Grafilia was still calm as she turned around and glanced at Qin. With her wolf head, she spoke so gently towards the latter.
“I understand, be careful!” Qin nodded her head and along with Lan, Grafilia rushed to et the incoming enemies.
“Get lost in this king!!” Hanjin roared out in anger. Massive teor-like magma imdiately shot towards Allen’s direction. However, before they could reach Allen, Lan appeared and her body was engulfed in azure colored flas. Her flas covered Allen’s figure, spreading throughout the sky.
“Don’t you dare!!!” With a murderous aura, Lan let out a few roars. When it opened its mouth wide, there was a surge of blue glow from its beak.
Hundreds of ters away, Hanjin could clearly sense the imnse energy fluctuating within its beak.
Hanjin frowned as he was a monster king that had lived for quite a very long ti, obviously, he had known what Lan was. Although clearly since Lan’s appearance differs slightly she should be a hybrid of a Luan Bird.
Thus, Hanjin had so understanding of what kind of attack he was going to encounter as soon as he saw that.
A mythical Luan Bird…
A Werewolf, a Qilin, A Gryphon and even those strange beasts fighting underneath—these monsters are way above the average beasts he had. How could Allen have such variety of Legendary and Mythical Beast simultaneously? These kind of creatures are too prideful to be under soone…
What does Allen have for them to show this kind of loyalty? Hanjin couldn’t help but feel jealous.
Allen doesn’t have that many beasts compared to him and the other kings… but still, all of his beasts can rival hundreds of theirs…!

Quantity Vs Quality… huh…?
Wooosh. In Lan’s beak, the ball of energy had finally reached its peak. The tip of the fla spiraled into the shape of an acorn, rotating towards Hanjin like an electric drill. “For Master, DIE!!!”
Boooom!!
The next mont, a loud explosion was heard and the several teors like magma burst were swallowed by Lan’s fire drill breath and continued towards Hanjin’s direction.
In the ground, the mont Lan’s attack landed as it chased Hanjin, a huge gully asuring more than 5 kiloters was also ford on the ground, striking terror into the creatures witnessing this horrific scene.
“Hmph!” But Hanjin only snorted. The magma covering his body burst out shooting like a porcupine, and Lan’s fire drill exploded in pieces. Then, with a loud roar, Hanjin disappeared only to reappear just above Lan.
“Die, plebeians!!!” Hanjin roared as he raised his claws. “You dare bare your fangs to a King?! Know your place!!”
Lan’s phoenix eyes narrowed but she didn’t retreat the least bit. Cryaaaaaahhhh!! If she steps back now, Hanjin would surely go straight to her master and that is sothing she cannot allow! Even if it will cost her her life, she must do everything to prevent it!!
Crackle! Burn! Lan’s flas burned stronger as she faces against Hanjin. She didn’t step back nor showed a cowering expression! She intends to stop him even if she uses her body!!
“Get Lost!!” The flas rotated around her body and in the next mont, Lan turned into a massive fireball and flew towards Hanjin. This attack might not harm Hanjin but it should still possess the power to push him back and halt his advances!
Clank! Clink! Clank! A sound of clunking tals was heard as the flas hit the monster king’s body and yet not even a crack or even pierced through the monster’s skin. Lan was stunned when she found out that she had totally underestimated the monster king.
As for Hanjin, it was only surprised for a mont. It seems like these monster servants were quite courageous or just plain foolish; he showed a sinister smile.
Hanjin snorted in contempt. He raised his claws, which was blazing in flas and covered with thick magma. He brought down the scythe of death that can steal life no matter what kind of creature it was!
“Dieeee!!!”
“Lan! Step back!!” As the blazing claws descended, soone appeared in front of Lan and t the attack head on.
BOOOM!!!
However, the figure who appeared in between and protected Lan spurted a mouthful of blood and went crashing into the ground along with Lan.
Bang!!
Due to the crash, a group of monsters gathering around the area were blasted apart and so were even torn limb by limb.
“Sister Qin!!” Lan cried out anxiously as she struggled to stand up with her broken wings.
“Sister Qin!!” Crawling desperately, Lan cried as she pulled Qin’s wounded body with her wings. Her blue feathers tainted by blood and one could even see the bones sticking out her wings but Lan didn’t care about it as she continued to call out to Qin who was sent unconscious!
“Don’t shout so loudly next to my ear…” Qin’s bloodstained lips curled up into a smile but Lan could see the pain she was hiding. It was probably thanks to her resilient and toughness or was it the barrier she had managed to conjure in that instant or maybe it was all of the above. But, Lan was certain that in that blow, Qin’s arms, as well as her torso, would have been severed, killing her off.
Qin’s body was devastated to almost irreparable!
Her arms were almost torn off and her right leg was bent at an impossible angle. It wouldn’t be an overstatent if it says; Qin’s life at this mont was already hanging by a single thread. Even still, Qin was still smiling while coughing up blood, seemingly trying to put up a front towards Lan.
“Damn it… that bastard did quite a number…” Qin spat out blood with a wry smile.
“Sister Qin, you need to go back now or else…”
“Don’t speak too much Lan.” Qin glared at Lan. “Master is here as if I would escape just because of these small wounds…!!” Qin then raised her head towards Allen. Although she was tasked to guard him when she saw Lan in that life-threatening danger, her body seemingly moved by its own.
It was a no-go for soone like her.
Leaving her master alone to save soone else was a failure in front of her other sisters—and yet, for so reason, Qin didn’t regret instead, she was feeling glad. After all, if Allen saw what she did, he would surely comnd her and would be happy for her actions.
Protect our family first before protecting …! That was what always what her most beloved master always warn her in this kind of situation. Although you can protect , but if sothing happened to each one of you, you still failed to protect my heart.
My physical body is not important but my heart… as a good servant of mine, as you claid yourself to be, you can’t prioritize my body before my heart… because that’s the worst pain I would suffer… more than physical wounds!
Although the others understand that but they would rather choose to go against Allen’s words and sacrifice themselves for his safety. Qin understands that but as soone who originally ca with Allen, not because of love just like now but because of mutual understanding, Qin didn’t like to disappoint her one and only best friend…!
Thus, in this basket of fruits, Qin was prepared to be the sole rotten fruit among the best ones. Just to protect Allen in her own best way!
“He he, and I had just done it… I had protected my beloved master’s heart…” Qin smiled happily as she continued to cough up blood. Tears fell but not due to sadness but happiness, extre happiness—I had done my part, master… will you praise , afterward…?
Then, since I had done my part, I should now be allowed to be a bit selfish. I’m sorry… I can’t go back now, not yet… I want to be with you, fight with you—die for you!
So please, let stay and fight… for you!
“Sister Qin! Even if you want to continue to fight, you can’t do anything with that body!! You’re going to die!!” Lan cried hysterically. She had already ignored the pain she was also suffering as her full attention was towards her sister!
“Hah, so what?” Qin gritted her teeth as she struggled, trying to stand up. She smiled fearlessly! “My life is for Master. And I will use it only for him!!”
“But Master will—”
“Shut up, Lan!! If I don’t have claws to scratch or legs to kick, I still have my mouth to bite!!”
“Sister Qin!!”
“You won’t succeed Human Monster King!!!” As the two of them was still arguing, their attention was suddenly attracted by Hanjin’s roar. When they turned their gaze to him, their eyes can’t help but widen in shock and anger.
Extre anger… anger that their eyes turned red.
“YOU DARE!!!!” Several anxious voices echoed in the grim battlefield.
Ha ha ha, while laughing like a madman, Hanjin’s body turned into a fiery blaze that flew toward Allen in a lightning-like manner.
“Hmph!” With narrowed gaze, Allen raised his head, his silhouette flickered and, looking elegant and graceful, he moved away. His eyes glead in a thick killing intent. Qin’s tragedy didn’t bypass his eyes and he vowed to kill Hanjin because of it!!
How dare this bastard hurt his Qin?!
He’s courting death!!
Wooosh. Wooosh. Wooosh.
However, Hanjin’s blazing figure was closely following him at incredible speed as well. He was leaving a trail of red light behind it as if there was a teor flying in the sky, it was extrely beautiful.
Allen ignored Hanjin’s chase. His eyes, which were filled with a thick killing intent, stared at the two different soul essences in his hands intently. As the two different souls began to rge, the space between his two palms began to beco trendously distorted.
Crackle! Bang! Crackle! Bang! Bang!
Nurous muffled thunder-like explosions were emitted from within them, shocking the souls of those who were watching.
“This bastard!! What is he thinking of doing in those souls…!!?”
The pair of wings on Allen’s back was flapped quickly as he narrowly and dangerously dodged Hanjin’s pouncing ti and ti again. His expression suddenly changed, and a white light flashed past the corner of his eyes. Allen suddenly saw that Sheeya had appeared in front of him like a ghost.
“I will protect you, father!” Sheeya muttered coldly. Then, without hesitation, she rushed towards Hanjin. Thick brown sands appeared around her, wriggling like tentacles.
“Another insect!!”
“Get away from my father!!”
