Chapter 430: [ Ice Queen's Descent (1) ]
The Firebird sorsaulted into the sky.
It then looked towards Allen who was panting with a sowhat pale face.
“Is that all you’ve got…?” The Firebird snorted in contempt. “Your power had beco significantly weaker. You’ll die soon…”
“Ha ha ha, don’t use such strong words, fire-brained idiot. It'll only make you look weak.” Allen sneered as his hands trembled slightly. His eyes narrowed coldly as he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. Even this minor action caused a trendous amount of pain to him. His body had reached its limits using all his power.
Any longer, he would know that he would drop down and fall from the sky.
No!!
… It wasn’t the ti for him to fall now.
Allen’s eyes stared quietly at the distant Firebird. His lips curled upward…
“You can die and be reborn again… but why can’t I?” Allen snorted. “Besides, if you want to kill , did you ask ‘her’ permission to do so…?”
“… I don’t need permission to kill soone. And who do you think, I would need permission to…” The Firebird sneered. The Firebird’s existence is one of the supre in this Desert, that only a few can match up.
Why does it need soone opinion or permission…?
Allen narrowed his icy cold yet terrifying eyes and with that, a frightening killing intent, which could devour people, suddenly also appeared and passed away in a flash, being suppressed by him. His lips curled into a bad grin. He lightly waved his hand and the Summoning Grimiore appeared in front of him.
“I really didn’t want to disturb her for sothing like this… but I guess, I don’t have a choice…” Allen sighed bitterly. The mist beneath his eyes was gone and right now, he wore an indifferent and alert expression, turning back into a cold immortal banished from heaven.
“… …?!!” The Firebird stared at Allen’s action. It didn’t do anything because, first, it didn’t feel like it needed to.
This was the pride and ego of the strong!
The composure of the Supre…
The Firebird was confident it could defeat anything the human in front of it would throw at it especially now that it saw Allen’s current weak condition. Its pride and ego had skyrocketed.
How can a human like him, with foot on his grave, could possibly do anything?
Second, because of curiosity. What did Allen an by ‘her’ and what will the unexpected human had still in store for it?
… And lastly… although the Firebird doesn’t want to admit it but it dreaded him…
It felt dread to a human for the first ti in a very long ti. Allen looked extrely weak in front of it but for so reason, whenever it looked at Allen’s unwavering eyes, it felt terrified…
Allen’s prowess that was out of common sense…
The Firebird had never fought against soone as bizarre as Allen before. Most High Gods and Deities only stick to one elent but Allen’s power varies greatly—giving it several shocks during the fight and had even almost caused the Firebird’s doom!
Fortunately, its level was higher than him if not, the Firebird would certainly be the one feeling anxious right now. However, even still, it doesn’t dare to make light of Allen. That is also the reason why it was hesitant to approach him even though it saw what Allen was doing!
Nothing was much scarier than a cornered beast!
“… I want to see you not in this state but in reality… but sorry to disturb you,” The Firebird frowned as it heard Allen’s soft and gentle murmur. And then, suddenly, the book floating in front of him, glowed light and from behind Allen, a hazy silhouette appeared.
It was almost transparent but at this very mont, when this hazy silhouette appeared, the Firebird instantly felt a bone-piercing cold, and its big wings and talons unexpectedly began to freeze.
Freezing began from the tip of its wings and nails rapidly reaching upwards. This instant, the Firebird felt as if even its blood was frozen solid. While still in shock, it spared no effort and circulated its fla energy, in a desperate asure.
What is this…?!
The Firebird instantly jumped backward in fear of being frozen. It then stared at the hazy silhouette in horror. Though for so reason, the silhouette wasn’t looking at it but instead…
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
The attention of the silhouette only focused at Allen, staring at her with eyes full of love and affection. The hazy silhouette of a beautiful woman crossed her hands around Allen’s neck while standing behind him.
Her expression was extrely sweet with a sense of satisfaction in her beautiful eyes. It was as though the happiest thing on earth would be for her to stay by Allen’s side, watching him.
“I’m sorry for calling you out all of a sudden…” Allen softly muttered. His smile was extrely gentle as he raised his hand—though unfortunately, the silhouette was incorporeal and so, his hands only passed through it. Still, Allen felt as if the warmth of his hands had surely passed through the world is known as space and dinsion… that’s what he feels.
“… …” The woman shook her head with a gentle smile. It was certainly incompatible with the piercing cold emitting from her body. Then, suddenly the woman’s gentle smile disappeared. Her expression turned cold. Replacing it was a chilly glare as her sharp gaze swept Allen’s wounded figure.
She raised her hand and touches the small blood left at the corner of Allen’s mouth. However, due to her incorporeal state, her hand only passed through.
“Ah, this?” Allen noticed the woman’s angry gaze and smiled. “It’s normal, I’m in the middle of a fight right now… that’s why can you help for a bit?”
The woman’s gaze imdiately turned ferocious and the anger within them was obvious to see. Her arms instantly coiled around Allen and then she raised her head and glared at the Firebird flying while maintaining a distance towards them.
“… …!!!!!” She opened her mouth but there were no words that ca out. However, anyone who saw her would surely know that she was screaming angrily.
The long hazy robe on her body covered Allen entirely. Then, snowflakes started fluttering from the sky, causing a very strange and unimaginable phenonon. In the center of the Desert, snow started falling.
The Firebird’s dread intensified. It felt as the silhouette in front of it was sothing completely different.
Cryaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!
The Firebird realized that it had felt terrified for the first ti—and this caused its anger to rise up due to its pride feeling wounded. It raised its head to the sky and emitted a sharp piercing sound.
It summoned a long enormous whip-like tail and violently swung it towards Allen and the Ice Queen’s direction. Its enormous tail carried a hot wind of great pressure as it hurriedly shot towards them.
“Hmph!” Allen’s expression changed slightly as he watched the Firebird that did not hesitate in attacking. However, unlike before, he didn’t feel anything from it anymore.
Because, within this protective embrace, Allen was confident that no one can hurt him even the strongest monster in this world!
BANG!!!!
Before the heat could even get close to Allen, the Ice Queen’s expression instantly turned cold and the fire tail, no, even the Desert beneath them froze. The snowflakes stopped falling as if even ti froze over.
In just that one move, within five kiloters of the Desert range beco a freezing hell.
The Firebird’s entire body trembled in fear as the ice on the fire tail rushed towards it. It hurriedly flew over, cutting the tail and dodging the cold energy. But still, its entire right wing had frozen over, causing it to start falling into the ground.
However, before it got close to the frozen ground, the Firebird let out a desperate cry and mustered all its power to burn the ice encasing its wings.
Within the Firebird’s golden colored eyes, a hint of unease flashed. From the mysterious silhouette, it could feel a hint of death.
CRYAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!
A cry filled with killing intent rang out from the Firebird’ mouth. A ferocious aura surged out from its body. Flas and violent gale gathered rapidly around it, distorting the surrounding air.
Torrents of deep crimson flas swiftly surged out from its body.
Boom!
The entire sky seed to tremble at this mont.
Flas were suspended around the body of the Firebird, much like soldiers who were ready to attack anyti.
Cryaaaahhhh!!!
“Die you monster!!!!”
A sharp cry suddenly sounded. Imdiately, the flas all over the sky surged. Allen could only watch the nurous fireballs that ca smashing down like teorites.
Those falling swishing sounds that filled the sky caused anyone to hear it feel as though a great disaster had struck.
The Ice Queen’s aura once again enveloped the entire surroundings. When she spreads her arms open, all the falling fireballs started freezing over one after another.
As the Firebird watched this scene, the uneasiness within its eyes increased. Although the Ice Queen’s attack was not extraordinarily imposing, it still gave it the chills.
The Firebird raised its head and glared at the woman’s silhouette. However, when it raised its head, it saw the Ice Queen staring at it with a very cold gaze. She opened her mouth and although there are no sounds, the Firebird with superior intelligence could read it as if it is said just next to her ears
‘DIE,’
A huge spear over ten ters in size and made up of ice appeared above the Ice Queen. Its tip was sharp and radiating a very a cold that even with their distance, the Firebird can still feel it clearly.
A feeling of death sward through and consud the Firebird’s heart in terror.
Under the threat of death, it imdiately turned into a crimson light and retreated. It could feel that it would definitely die if that enormous spear pierced it!
The Firebird swore that it had never worked its wings at such a rate before in its entire life.
In the distance, Allen watched the confrontation in the sky calmly.
“You want to escape?!”
Allen’s cold eyes stared at the escaping Firebird.
Allen had already exhausted all his power to force the Firebird to this hopeless situation. If he allowed it to escape, everything he did would be completely useless.
After all, the latter would co back after it rested for a period of ti and would certainly look at him for trouble. As for Allen, he wouldn’t be able to borrow the Ice Queen’s power every ti.
Therefore, he must eliminate the Firebird so there wouldn’t be any future troubles.
As the killing intent within Allen’s heart surged, his hand moved, “Did you ask my permission?”
In the midst of its scape, the Firebird suddenly ca to a halt.
Allen’s lips curled upwards, “Did you think I didn’t prepare for this already…? Haven’t you tasted my sand buckshot…?” Allen mocked.
“You!! You bastard!!!” The Firebird felt its body sohow lagged and out of its control for a mont before it slowly regaining it. However, this small amount of ti was already enough.
Swish!
A silvery-white light pierced the air. It tore through the sky and chased after Firebird at an intense speed.
The silvery white beam was as swift as lightning. In only a few seconds, it had appeared behind the Firebird.
“No!!!!”
The Firebird cried out in horror. It furiously roused hot energy and placed a massive magic barrier behind his body.
Boom!
However, the massive ice spear did not care and charged straight at it. Finally, it landed on the Firebird’s barrier.
