“I’m really not an enemy!” Eerika called out.

The sli still glared at Eerika but the dagger on her hand slowly disappeared, fusing on her hand. The sli returned her attention to the youth, stroking his face gently.

She was opening her mouth, seemingly saying sothing.

Eerika crept closer, when she was less than a ter away from them, the sli moved her hand in quick speed and a dagger was already on her neck.

“Young Miss!!”

The knight leader and the other knights were terrified and were about to rush up but Eerika’s hand rose up and stop them. The dagger’s blade was still inches away from her skin.

“I’m not an enemy…!” Eerika used every power she could muster and say those words. Although she was not as good as her ancestor, the God Balder but she can talk to almost all kinds of animals. Only monsters were quite difficult for her –but Eerika knows that this sli was a high-level intelligent species of sli so she tried using her power, trying to converse with it.

“… …” The Sli glared at Eerika, then she slowly put down the dagger.

Eerika sighs in relief and reached out her hand, checking Allen’s wrist.

Then after a few monts, Eerika frowned.

“There was no wound; however, his state is critical,” Eerika muttered. The Sli’s body jerked. “I don’t know what happened but all his energy was depleted…”

The sli looked at Eerika and she could see that the sli seems to be begging to her to save him.

Eerika sighed. “It’s fine. Although I said that he’s critical but that is only for the ti being. As long as he would recover his energy, he would wake up.”

“… …”

“In fact, his body was slowly recovering in a very fast manner that is already unbelievable. I had never seen sothing like this before. A week or two should be enough for him to wake up.”

Hearing Eerika’s words, the sli let out a sigh of relief. She strokes the youth’s face with a gentle and loving expression that is extrely unusual for a monster, much less a sli!

“Is he your master…?” Eerika asked in curiosity.

*nod *nod The Sli nodded her head.

“We are going to leave and move into safer place… it’s better if you co with us, along with your master.” Eerika proposed. Her usual cold appearance unexpectedly showed a warm and gentle expression that almost made the knight leader as well as the other to pee their pants!

What happened!?

Their young miss who wouldn’t even bat an eye if a blade was pointed at her throat was now making a warm and gentle appearance!? If their mistress learned of this, she would certainly throw a party!!

The sli stared at Eerika while frowning. She then looked at the youth’s pale face. After a few monts, the sli nodded her head.

Eerika’s lips imdiately curved upward. She doesn’t know who they are but they had saved their lives –intentional or not. Besides, she was extrely curious about the youth’s identity. He actually has such level monster with him.

Who is he…?

If she wanted to know the answer this, she needs to let them stay beside them all the ti!

The group imdiately continued on their journey.

Fearing the Demon’s attack again, their pace increased once more.

However, although the group was certainly feeling a bit of unease but all of this would vanish the mont they looked at the figure following them.

Even the knight leader and Eerika couldn’t help but feel moved at the scene.

A sli girl was carrying a youth on her back, and even since they started their journey, the Sli girl never once put the youth down. She would even attack those who wanted to replace her and carry the youth instead.

This kind of devotion and loyalty…

Just how did this youth manage to acquire this from a sli no less…!?

Along the way, Eerika tried to converse with the Sli girl but the sli girl just completely ignored her. All her attention seems to be on the youth.

When they take a break, the Sli would cover the youth’s body within her. Those who tried to approach, monster or not, enemy or ally, will be attacked indiscriminately. It’s as if, the sli was afraid that sothing bad would happen to the youth the mont it let her guard down even for an instant.

This overprotectiveness really makes one can’t help but marvel!

Along the way, the group encountered many monsters but compared to the demons, they were not much of a problem. Even the sli girl didn’t have any problem protecting her master.

Due to this, Eerika and the others finally saw the real color of the Sli. It was actually a dual attribute, tal –poison sli…?! And the poison toxicity can even paralyze King ranked monsters!

Just with this alone can show how valuable this monster was!

However, what caught everyone’s attention was that, since the youth was still deeply asleep, the Sli girl always gives the youth water from within her body. And judging from the color as well as the magic power emitting on it, the water was pure and filled with mana, making it a very valuable resource!

Can a sli also do that…!?

Ti flew.

In an instant, five days had already passed.

The golden sun by the west side of the Mountains only had half of a smile left. The sky gradually turned darker; still, the group couldn’t help but sigh in relief as they finally arrived.

They looked at the tall rampart and the long line ford in front of it.

Without hesitation, like hungry rabbits, they rushed towards the city gates. This trip had been extrely terrible.

They were almost wiped out!

Many people looked at them and so even felt discontented. After all, they were already here for a quite a long ti already, lining up and yet so people actually cut the line…?

However, the mont they saw those people, those thoughts imdiately vanished.

Especially, after seeing the woman walking in front, much less them, even the guards rushed forward to greet them.

“It’s good that you’re back, Miss Eerika!” The guard respectfully greeted.

Eerika nodded but she didn’t say anything else and continued walking inside with a stoic expression.

As they walked, the people finally noticed a sli girl carrying a youth on her back. Seeing this, the guard imdiately tried to pull out his sword. Slis are part of the monster race and most monster races were enemies of the God Clans, allying themselves to the Demons.

Thus, the appearance of the sli girl alerted the guards and the people.

Seeing their reaction, the Sli girl imdiately jumped back. Hugging the youth protectively, a dagger materializes on her hand. Her actions were like that of a hen protecting its chicks.

Eerika and the others noticed this commotion and imdiately moved. Several knights pointed their weapons at the guards, startling the people. What’s more, Eerika slowly stepped forward and her stoic expression changed into a gentle one. “It’s fine, calm down! No one’s going to hurt you or your master here,” she said.

“… …” The Sli girl glared at Eerika and embraced the youth tighter. After staring at her for a few monts, the sli girl finally dropped the dagger down and once again carried the youth. This ti, she was carrying him on her hands while many tentacles supported his back.

“Co,” Eerika smiled gently and extended her hands to her but the Sli girl ignored her and returned her attention to the surroundings, afraid that soone might sneak attack her master.

Eerika could only smile bitterly. This was the first ti she had been treated like this… but she didn’t take it to heart. She would also do the sa if she was in her position.

The guard sweated bullets from the weapons and blades pointing at his body. Then he suddenly saw Eerika glaring at him coldly, causing him to tremble. Fortunately, Eerika didn’t want to cause any trouble or scene as she just brushed past him.

The Knights also pulled back their weapons and followed her. This ti, so knights intentionally dropped their speed and walked behind the group, encircling the Sli Girl and her master.

The people can’t help but feel dumbfounded on what had just happened.

Who was that sli monster…?

What just happened…!?
