“I did what I felt is right… I didn’t regret it…” She muttered, stamring as if choking on her sobs.

Allen closed his eyes and took a deep breath, “Indeed, you have…” he smiled and pulled her trembling body towards him.

The sound of cry reverberated through the entire room once again. Even Laura and Ye Yuesheng could only watch silently, afraid to break this sentintal mont. In the room, they were the only people…

Allen had already forgiven her, no, he had never hated her in the first place.

In life, circumstances gave people choices that will affect the entirety of their lives.

Choices that no matter how small they are, will still be able to change everything you have, transform everything you have known and will affect all the people around you…

Everything is right; they are no wrongs on it because you are the one who chooses it. It’s your decision, your choice… only the outco might not to your liking…

This is also an example of it… Celty chooses what she believed was right and even Allen can’t do anything about it. It was her life, not other people.

However, Choices can also be a good indicator of what the person felt. That sotis, what’s more, important is not a matter of can and can’t, but a matter of will and won’t.

That in the end, it’s really our choices that showed what we most held dear…

Celty’s feelings showed through her decision and even if Allen was an idiot, surely he could understand what it was it that she was feeling.

… …

… …

Ever since that day, Celty retained her Diana form whenever she was outside. Aside from the people in that day, no one knows her real identity.

Of course, Allen didn’t plan to stay it like this forever. He was looking for the right ti and mont to tell Mia about it, but for the anti, Celty remained hidden in the guise of a woman known as Diana Haley.

Her real identity was still a bit sensitive.

However, even Allen never expected Mia’s real capability…

… Four days later since Celty and Allen’s reunion…

As Allen crossed the hall towards the staircase he saw, to his surprise, that the ornate door of their room ( Mia and Allen ) was lying open and inside he could glimpse the shadow which was soone extrely familiar to him, thrown big against the wall by the light of the wall lamps.

Mia, who should have often locked herself in her study in this kind of ti, was waiting for him, clearly in not so good humour.

Feeling strange, Allen subconsciously slowed his steps causing the sound of walking becoming softer as well.

It was quite a strange feeling really… like you suddenly found your wife standing impatiently inside your room, not clearly understanding what’s the matter but feeling that sothing bad is going to happen, or probably you felt you had done sothing wrong in which you just don’t rember at all, was happening to Allen right now.

Did I do sothing bad…?

When he was about to enter, Mia’s voice called out, “Why are you tiptoeing past, my dear?” Her voice sowhat angry. “Is it by chance that you wish to avoid an encounter…?”

Though Allen wanted to say he wasn’t, he was just walking softly – though it wouldn’t really matter so he let it go. Still mystified.

What is with Mia today?

Allen turned his head to find that he was looking straight at Mia who was standing in the doorway. He knew that she had deliberately taken that position so that she could intercept him.

Stolen from its original source, this story is not ant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

“No, no of course not,” Allen said while shrugging his shoulders. He then walked towards Mia and hugged her as a greeting, “How could I? When every ti, I always hope to see you and even a glance every minute would be fine to satisfy my longing for you…”

Allen said as his hands fell down to her waist. Mia’s stern face sowhat softened after hearing Allen’s obvious flattery. She raised her hands and circled them to his neck, “Really?”

“Of course,” Allen placed a kiss on her beautiful and enchanting red lips. “Can’t you hear my heart beating fast? Expressing the authenticity of my words… even I find it already deafening, still, I can do nothing about it. My love for you screams to always stay at your side…”

“But don’t you have Sara?” She pouted slightly in a way that miraculously blended childishness and adult charm, “I heard you were with her these past few days when I was out? I even thought that maybe you already have forgotten about …” A sour sll could be heard from her.

“How could I?” Allen pretended to show a surprised expression, which is almost genuine. “You and Sara are different. You possess equal position in my heart that if I only have one of you, my life will beco a bit boring and dreary… I felt extrely lonely, like a puzzle, lacking a piece to complete my life. Like a pizza without toppings, and afternoon snack without a milk coffee… I needed you…so badly that it pains my heart,”

“Oh, you…” Mia tiptoed and pulled Allen to a passionate kiss. Since there was quite a difference in their height, Mia had to do this since she was a bit smaller… “I’m sorry for leaving you alone these past few days. The news about the church and other organizations finally moving their forces keeps busy…”

“No, no,” Allen smiled gently as he shook his head. He then traces her cheeks, with eyes filled with loving and affection, “I just wished that you have enough rest… you know I really wanted to help but you always chase away from this… Truthfully, I’m extrely hurt,”

“I’m sorry,” Mia gently rubbed Allen’s cheeks as she apologizes. “You don’t need to concern yourself with them, I will deal with them myself.”

“But,”

“Allen, just like what I had said before, in the political aspect, you can count on . You don’t need to worry yourself with them,” Mia said seriously.

However, truthfully, this was not the only reason for her to stop Allen from mixing in this mudded water. Mia was still hiding the things about Mark and Daniel from Allen. At least, she wanted for Allen to not know it at all – unless his finally closed wounds might reopen.

At least not now…

But these past few days, those two finally made their move.

And for Yoyo, that girl to join them… that bit*h, I will certainly take her down!!

Mia swore inside her heart. Mark, Daniel, and Yoyo had co together and gone to one of the organizations located in Canada and even the monarchy in England…

As for Bernard and Alma… their whereabouts were still unknown… Mia wondered why. Are they really building their own forces sowhere secretly…?

As Mia was thinking, Allen shrugs his shoulders. He’s not really interested in politics…

Politics is like black coffee to him, although he didn’t hate it but he was not fond of bitter things either. He has zero interest in it.

So he imdiately changed his expression and stared at Mia with a smile, “So, what is it, love? You seem out of sort today? Did sothing happen?”

The mont those words were out, Mia’s expression changed abruptly.

It was a situation similar to a person from a bomb squad where he was in the process of stopping a bomb but when he was doing fine and was almost done stopping it, he suddenly choose and cut the wrong wire and there goes ‘KABOOOM!!!’

The bomb exploded… and Allen knew he tripped the wrong wire.

Tsk – Allen clicked his tongue inwardly. Damn it !!

“Love,” Mia started as her eyes which were originally loving but now, narrowed ever so slightly and a threatening atmosphere dawn upon them. “Don’t you have sothing to say to …?” she asked sardonically.

“Ahm… I love you…?” Allen stamred, disconcerted by the sudden change in atmosphere.

“I already know that and I want to know why are you putting a question mark in the end? Anyway, No, not that one…” Shadows fell on her face.

“… I recall no such thing… or do I?” Allen imdiately used his ‘I don’t know anything’ skill. It was a great skill to use for situations you needed to pretend you are dumb! Most special MC’s have this~

Mia steps back and lets out a deep sigh. Her expression bitter, “… then what about the thing that you are hiding from ?”

Allen’s eyes widened in shock. He stared at Mia in amazent, hesitated for a mont, then said abruptly, “So you knew about that matter…?”

“… …”

There’s only one thing he could think of, to make Mia make such expression. Allen sighed, “I’m not planning to hide it from you… I’m just looking for a perfect ti to say, it was quite such a sensitive topic.”

Allen walked over the bed and taps his lap while wearing an apologetic smile.

Mia sighed. She walked over and sat on his lap without hesitation. As Allen put his arms around her, Mia did the sa.

“… I know, but even I can forgive anything if you just told …” Mia said with a soft voice.

“Thank you,” Allen felt touched and started stroking her hair lovingly, “About Ye Yuesheng ---”

“About Celty ---”

The two muttered at the sa ti. But the mont they had heard each other’s words they couldn’t help but stopped talking and their eyes widened in shock!

“What?!”

“What did you say?!”

Finally, at this very mont, both of them discovered that Mia’s ( Allen’s ) train of thought apparently is not on the sa planet as him ( her ).
