When Allen and Tang Yu arrived at the back of the river side, Allen decided to rest and sat down leaning against trees, making i nu and Tiaowen temporarily recover.
Tang Yu on the other hand imdiately prepared to make a fire, gathering wooden branches. Lunch was never a problem for the both of them as Allen can hunt a monster beast or just order Tiaowen. And if near by the river, Allen just extends his hand just like what he was doing right now and let out a spark, electrocuting the fishes. Very convenient.
Tang Yu then would gather and prepare them.
When Allen and Tang Yu finished eating lunch and were prepared to rest, suddenly, Tiaowen and i nu’s head lifted their heads and their gazes simultaneously turned in one direction.
Obviously, Allen had already noticed as he looked at the direction they were looking with half-opened eyes. No matter what it is, Allen wouldn’t be excited over it.
“Young master,” Tang Yu walked towards Allen and imdiately stands in front of him, her back facing him.
The rustling sounds went from small to large, and Allen could clearly sense that creature approaching them at a very high speed.
Squinting his eyes, Allen focused at the creature approaching.
His [ Enhanced Vision ] was extrely outstanding, even at night was no exception, let alone now when the sun was still at its zenith.
Very quickly, Allen could see it clearly, a long serpent around 7 to 8 ters. It has a single horn on its forehead, a small pair of wings at its back and it was flying in the sky.
“A [ Cloud Serpent ]” Allen muttered upon seeing it. His lips turned into a smile.
A cloud serpent is a rare snake type monster beast. It was said that when it reached Rook class, it would evolve into a Dragon class monster. Though not as strong as the dragon, its power will be more or less impressive.
And what’s more important is that it possess a skill called [ Smog ]. It would emit a black fog or haze that would cover a huge area, concealing its existence to its enemies. It’s a good skill in terms of escape or retreat in ergency situations.
“Let’s catch it…” So Allen decided.
Tang Yu shrugged her shoulder but she didn’t say anything.
Flipping his hand, Allen summoned his summoning Grimoire; “Co out for a bit, Baishe.”
In a blink of an eye, a huge white scaled serpent appeared out of thin air, it then looked at Allen curiously. “Why did you call , master? Did you need anything?”
“Please catch that snake for ,” Allen smiled as he pointed towards the flying [ Cloud Serpent ].
“That young snake? What do you want to do with it, master?” Madam White Snake tilted its huge head as her gaze locked into the flying snake.
The [ Cloud Serpent ] seed to have noticed Madam White’s existence since it imdiately begun to turn around and flee to the opposite direction.
“Turn it into one of us,” With that simple answer, Madam White didn’t ask again and imdiately chased at the fleeing serpent.
With its huge body, Madam White managed to catch up. It then imdiately twisted its huge body and coiled around the [ Cloud Serpent ] with its long body.
The [ Cloud Serpent ] panicked. The snake’s head askew, opening its mouth wide towards Madam White and sprayed a dark colored thick fog, wanting to blind Madam White’s vision. Unfortunately, for it Madam White countered it by releasing a water breath from her mouth, dispelling the dark smog.
The [ Cloud Serpent ] still tried to struggle but the more it did the tighter Madam White coiled its body at it. When the [ Cloud Serpent ] finally shown signs of giving up, Madam White swallow the snake’s head and started slithering away towards Allen.
Madam White vomit the [ Cloud Serpent ] in front of Allen and said, “I injected so venom so it should be paralyzed for a whole day.”
Allen stood up and walked towards it, extending its hand Allen started his taming skill. After a few minutes, it finally showed out so success as the serpent’s entire body started shining.
When Allen was about to summon his grimoire, suddenly, a hoarse strict shout abruptly echoed,
“Stop.”
Imdiately following, two people leaped out from the direction the [ Cloud Serpent ] had co flying, appearing before Allen and the others.
These two people were one old and one young, one old man and a young woman around early to mid-twenties.
The elder looked fifty or sixty years old, a head with a wild unkempt hair with a bit of white hair, although he was not young, his mind was extrely hale and hearty, although the wrinkles on his face were not few, it was still healthy like a man in his mid-thirties.
His face was flushed and judging from the small jar on his hand and the constant ‘hic hic’ sound, Allen assud this old guy was already drunk.
Following at the drunken old man’s side, was a young lady wearing a blue silk covering her face, but looking at her figure Allen could guess that she should be around early to mid-twenties.
A traditional woman… Allen concluded after seeing the woman covering her face with a blue silk.
She was wearing neat brilliant clothing, tightly covering her already very well-developed figure. Allen could feel that she was staring fixedly at him even without seeing her eyes.
“Hic, young one…” The drunken old man started. “That stupid snake is ours; we saw it first so give it to us…”
The drunken old man swayed as if he was going to fall over. Anyone might only see him as a useless drunk but Allen’s eyes contracted upon seeing the old man’s movents.
Under his enhanced vision, Allen could see that this old man was a master since his movents looked shaky but actually it was firm and solid.
Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.
This old man is not simple…
Tang Yu didn’t have Allen’s extraordinary keen eyes but she could still feel that the old man is certainly not simple. She remained vigilant while staring at the old drunken’s every movent.
But the tad beasts were more direct. Tiaowen, i nu, and Madam White could feel the extraordinariness of the old man as they imdiately stand beside Allen. Even Madam White imdiately coiled itself around Allen, as if protecting him.
These actions startled the old man and the young woman behind him. It seems like they never expected for the monsters to actually protect Allen.
“Hoho, it seems like you’re a monster tar, hic!” the old man spoke with interest.
Allen was only startled for a mont and a smile crept on his face. “That’s right, I am and they are my family.”
There was no hint of haughtiness or arrogance in Allen’s expression. He looked an amiable and friendly kid next door.
“Old man, even if you said that this is your snake but there’s no na on it so it’s still wild.”
“Oh?” The drunk old man sat with a poof! Not caring about the situation nor place and carried on drinking,
“But we had found this snake first and moreover took the lead in hunting it. It had just managed to flee from us but we are about to catch it when your, this big snake beat us on it.”
“Is that so?” Allen showed a thinking expression but a smile was still hanging on his face. “But you know, old man, a wild beast is still a wild beast if it returned to the wild. Even if you see it first but you still don’t own it. Since I caught it first, then it’s mine!”
“… …”
“That’s preposterous!” the young woman standing behind yelled. Her tone was cold and angry.
“We obviously saw it first so it should be ours! You are shaless to reap what you didn’t sow!”
This insult caused Tang Yu and the other beast’s displeasure. Tang Yu imdiately steps forward but before she could speak, Madam White let out a loud hiss. Its bloodshot eyes glared directly at the young woman.
“Watch your mouth little girl or I might rip it for you!”
“Hii!!” Madam White’s release of killing intent startled the young woman causing her to fall on her butt. “It, It talk!?”
She was not the only one who was startled by this incredible scene as the drunken old man seed to have sobered up and his eyes went towards Madam White. He had never seen a monster to talk in human language.
He had seen so but they have humanoid appearances so it’s no wonder they could talk but a huge snake? This is the first for them.
That’s natural since monsters reaching rook class and above was still a rarity in this world. How could they see it already?
“Human girl, insult my master again and I will swallow you whole!”
“Hii!!”
Madam White’s advancent caused the old man to finally turn vigilant and made his stance.
Watching him, Allen noticed the old man’s fist loosened and his index finger resembled a hook shape. His thumb was also curved up, creating a ‘C’ pattern with his index and thumb finger.
With his whole body sloshing, the old drunken was staggering and swaying as if he would topple over any mont.
Seeing this, Allen finally know what style this old man was using.
“Drunken Fist,” He muttered.
“Are you Gao Butian?”
“Hm?” The old man swayed like an ordinary drunkard but Allen could feel that he was staring at him as if observing him. “Yes, I am. How did you know my na?”
Who wouldn’t know?
Allen mused inwardly. Although he had never seen or t him before, Allen had heard so much about him.
“Your reputation precedes you, the successor of the drunken fist, the [ Drunken Old Demon ] Gao Butian.”
Gao Butian didn’t belong to any sect and aside from his strong kung fu, he was just an ordinary drunkard.
Allen heard before that Gao Butian ca from a family of drunken masters and he had beco the sole inheritor of it. But since the world is a very peaceful place, he rather drunk wine than fighting.
However, the world suddenly turned into this and fighting for survival beca the norm. Thus, Gao Butian picks up her only daughter and started training her for survival.
But in the previous life, sothing happened to cause Gao Butian to be enraged.
One of the young master of the Zhang family; 2nd son, Zhang Caihe took interest on his daughter and kidnap her when Gao Butian was away.
Enraged, Gao Butian rushed to the Zhang Family by killing.
Using a cauldron that was infinitely filled with magic wine that gives strength to the user whenever he drinks it; he paved his path with blood.
Even when the [ Sword God Immortal Sect ] tried to interfere, Gao Butian was still unstoppable.
At that ti he was already at the King stage and was already peerless.
And that was the start of his legend!
Gao Butian beca one of the renowned martial masters of the world.
They called him the [ Drunken Old Demon ]!
Naturally, his daughter also beca famous after him. With appetite that is incomparable to n, she was called the [ Wine Pot Seductress ]
If Allen hasn’t heard about them then he would be really a fool.
Allen stopped Madam White from attacking and faced Gao Butian, “Why do you need this snake?”
The old man smiled faintly, saying: “I need that serpent’s blood for my daughter’s wine.”
Allen nodded his head in understanding.
A monster snake’s blood and gall was an efficacious dicine and could strengthen a person’s body. Especially a high-level snake monster like the rare [ Cloud Serpent ].
So Allen could understand why they needed it. But that doesn’t an that he would just give it to them. A [ Cloud Serpent ] is a rare type monster, it would be a waste to just make it into a wine.
“Unfortunately, I can’t give it to you.”
“What?! That snake is ours!” the young woman who managed to regain her senses yelled. She was hiding behind her father.
“Just what I said, this snake doesn’t have an owner…” Allen smiled calmly. “Until now that is,”
Allen pokes the [ Cloud Serpent ] with his foot to awaken it. With its body still paralyzed, the snake groggily opened its eyes.
It could still not move but the mont it saw Allen, it let out a small hiss, as if calling to him- Its eyes moist, as if suffering an injustice and wanted to report its grievances to its parents.
Allen crouched and strokes the little guy’s head. It closed eyes seemingly pleased.
Looking at this scene, the young lady and the old man was shocked. Even an idiot would see that this snake had already considered the black youth as its owner, or maybe a master.
“Your cheating!!” the young lady shouted in anger but she didn’t dare insult him any further.
Looking at the huge white snake glaring at her, she had lost her spirit. She knows that even with her father, there’s no way to defeat that snake!
Just how did he manage to ta a monster like this huge snake?
This youth isn’t simple!
She had seen soone ta a monster before so she wasn’t that surprised about the black clothed youth being a monster tar. However, that man’s monsters compared to this black clothed youth are simply dregs!
A beautiful Unicorn, a ferocious and strong looking wolf and lastly a huge talking white scaled snake… really, how can it be compared to a small rabbit or a goblin?!
His monsters are just too much of a cheat!
If the young lady wasn’t scared about the huge white snake attacking her, she would have already cursed the black clothed youth in front of her for being too shaless!
He had already possessed these strong monsters, why would he still fight her with that snake?!
He was just too shaless!!
Allen ignored the young lady’s scowl and looked at Gao Butian. “Old Gao, I’m afraid this matter isn’t so easily handled, ah!”
Allen showed an embarrassed expression.
The young lady couldn’t help but speak up,
“What ‘not so easily handled’, this Serpent was clearly found by us first. If not for us already injuring it, could you have done it so easily? Give it to us at once; otherwise, we’ll be blunt with you.”
While speaking, she raised her fist cutely in the air. Looking at her, Allen couldn’t help but wonder how did she acquire the na [ Wine Pot Seductress ].
Isn’t this girl too childish for her age?
Gao Butian simultaneously wrinkled his brows, staring fixedly at Allen.
“Elder sister Gao, your words are not right, within this forest, no monsters are things with owners. Perhaps this [ Cloud Serpent ] was found by you first and moreover injured. But we were nevertheless the last to catch it. You insist on saying it is your thing, this I’m afraid isn’t too fair.”
“That’s…”
Seeing the young lady was struck speechless, Gao Butian let out a sigh and with a bitter smile, he said; “Younger brother, why don’t you just give this serpent back to my daughter? From what I can see, this serpent although is strong but compared to the ones beside you, it still lacking. Why do you still want to compete with us for it? Why don’t you give this old Gao a face and return it to us?”
Allen smiled slightly, saying: “Old Gao, it’s not that I don’t want to give you face but as you can see you ca too late. I had already succeeded taming this monster, so I just can’t let you kill it.”
