When the people rested and prepared for the night's show, we also returned to the hotel to relax and enjoy ourselves. After a couple of hours, it was nine p.m. and almost the beginning of the first event. This event was special for many because they did so to pray and symbolize their wishes.

The weather was calm today; otherwise, the event would've been canceled. When we arrived at the town square, it was already packed with people, and they were all ready to release their lanterns into the sky. This was called the lantern release ceremony. When they released the lanterns into the sky, it symbolized many things for the people here.

It shows their dreams but also their wishes. When the ti was finally right, the people slowly began to light their lanterns and let them fly out of their hands. First, it was one, then two, until a mont later, you could see the whole sky covered with them. The city was illuminated as thousands of lanterns floated upwards, creating a river of light.

Families began to hug, and loved ones began to kiss. This mont was one of the most romantic in this city, and I could even spot so people proposing to the person they loved. Looking to my right, I saw Tyche staring at a couple who had just gotten together. The expression on her face was sothing I had never seen before on her face, but from experience, I knew that it was jealousy.

It looked like she wanted so romantic things as well. Smiling and rubbing my forehead, I knew that I had to do this earlier, but well. Peter late, then never, I suppose. "Darling, Will you be my light, my hope, and my love for all days to co?" I dropped to my knee before Tyche and spoke the words that I had been aning to tell her.

I opened the box in my hand, and a ring was revealed. The ring had a light blue gemstone in the middle. It was so smooth that it radiated the glow of the lanterns above. The gemstone was cut in a teardrop shape. The band is made of platinum, sleek, and polished. There were also subtle engraved patterns of interlocking vines on it.

Inside the band, I wrote a special ssage for this special mont.

"My light, My love."

Tyche looked at bewildered, but I could see her happy face under her shocked one. She looked at for a second and then at the ring. After staring at it montarily, she returned to her senses. "Yes, yes, of course I will." She answered my question with a happy smile on her face. I took her hand again and placed the ring on her finger.

So people around us smiled at us gently but went back to their own families. With the ring now on her finger, we held each other's hands and looked up at the river of light the lanterns were giving. Just when I thought that it couldn't get more romantic, fireworks began to shoot up in the sky.

They exploded high in the sky beside the lanterns and were in a variety of different colors. I looked down at Tyche, and she looked up at . Feeling the mont coming to us, our faces ca closer to each other, and finally, our lips t. This kiss wasn't anything lewd but just a loving kiss that we gave each other to express our love.

Slowly, we distanced ourselves from one another and just enjoyed each other's presence. When the lanterns flew on the horizon, people began to leave for the day. They would spend the rest of their night with their families cozy in their hos. Tyche and I also went back to the hotel.

We ordered so food and ate it in the room. After that, we just relaxed for the night and fell asleep in each other's arms. We didn't do anything but sleep, but this comfort was enough for both of us tonight. I was excited to find out what the last day of the festival was all about, so I hugged Tyche's soft, warm body and closed my eyes.

...

The last day was nad the Day of Azir, and it began with a children's favorite. The children started with a city-wide scavenger hunt, where every clue they had to find was a symbol of the city's history—even the small riddles they got had to do with Lilith's backstory. The children completed the scavenger hunt for a special coin or pendant with the symbol of Azir on it.

When it began to get midday, the people began to join together to cook. This ti, all the people of the city cooked for each other. Special stations were prepared where people could cook for fun, but there were also stalls where people would make competitions. In the end, they still ate all the food collectively.

After eating, there were so special craftsn who used dark and shadow magic to make things show sothing. One example was that one of the people used shadow weaving, which was used like a black-and-white TV, where they told stories.

At the end of the day, people ca together by the rivers and forest of Azir and lit candles to create a light spectacle all around the city. This ti, it was more peaceful than yesterday, and the feeling was more comfortable.

I sat on the grass with Tyche. These three days brought us a lot closer, and the fun we had was sothing I didn't expect. I combed through her hair as she laid her head on my lap. We were looking over a river that had candles next to it and enjoying the view from above it.

"When are Amaterasu and Aphrodite back?" Tyhce suddenly asked. I thought montarily because I didn't keep track of the days. "They should arrive the day after tomorrow. Why do you want to know?"

Tyche looked up at with sparkling eyes. "So that we could spend so more ti alone, you know." She hugged my body from her position. I kept stroking her hair. "Yes, yes, we will spend tomorrow together."

After so more monts of cuddling, we decided to go back to the hotel and spend a steamy night together, during which ti she went to sleep early in the morning.

The day after, we relaxed in each other's presence and spent ti walking through the city that was being cleaned from the aftermath of the festival.
