When Fu Yisi heard the noise and ca downstairs, Ji Sang had already finished the call and made breakfast.
"How co you’re down so early?"
Fu Yisi walked over to Ji Sang, and just as he reached out to hold her for a good morning kiss, Ji Sang pushed him away.
"I just finished cooking breakfast; there’s grease on ."
It was just frying so eggs, leaving a faint lingering sll.
On Fu Yisi himself, he might indeed care a little, but it was different with Ji Sang.
The man put a bit more strength into his hands, wrapped Ji Sang back into his embrace, leaned down to kiss her cheek, and sighed with satisfaction.
"No way, my wife is obviously fragrant."
Ji Sang had grown accustod to Fu Yisi’s sweet nothings by now. Perhaps won are inherently auditory creatures; hearing these words, she naturally felt happy.
"Let’s eat first."
She didn’t ask what Fu Yisi was busy with in the study early in the morning—many things didn’t need to be known too clearly. If she needed to know, Fu Yisi would definitely tell her.
Fu Yisi’s eyes fell on Ji Sang’s hands, his eyebrows furrowing as he took her hand.
Following his gaze, Ji Sang noticed a slight redness on the back of her hand, her eyes slightly shifting.
It must be from the oil splashes while frying the eggs earlier.
"I haven’t cooked in a long ti; I’m a bit out of practice, it’s nothing serious, I can’t even feel it."
But Fu Yisi frowned slightly at her, then went to find the first aid kit downstairs, retrieved an ointnt, and applied it to her.
"It’s all red."
Ji Sang looked at the ointnt on the back of her hand and smiled.
During breakfast, Ji Sang casually asked Fu Yisi about his schedule for the day.
"I will go to the hospital today. I need to personally follow up on Cheng Jianwen’s case these next couple of days and handle so administrative matters as well."
Ji Sang didn’t understand the last part of what Fu Yisi ant.
The man explained.
"I’ve been too busy lately and haven’t had much ti to spend with you. I’ll gradually reduce my workload at the hospital."
Ji Sang set down what she was holding and looked at Fu Yisi with furrowed brows.
"Have you decided?"
Didn’t he really enjoy that job?
Fu Yisi understood what she was thinking from her furrowed brows and reached out to rub her head.
"It’s just changing from a deputy head to an occasional visiting doctor."
Ji Sang kept gazing into Fu Yisi’s eyes, and after finding tranquility and tenderness within them, she suddenly felt a sense of relief.
Lately, with the affairs of the hospital, Aunt Fu Zhixing, Fu Family’s matters, and Fu Yisi’s own investnts, there was just too much.
She worried that Fu Yisi might give up the hospital work due to compromise.
Now, it seed not to be the case.
Only now did Ji Sang bring up the question.
"Do you plan to start working for Fu Family soon?"
When they first got married, she didn’t understand why his easygoing parents made Fu Yisi choose between working for the Fu Family and getting married.
Now she gradually understood, especially after Ji Hanwen brought Lin Jue to manage the Ji Family’s affairs, Ji Sang realized how much big corporations indeed needed talented individuals.
Let alone a big family?
Fu Group needed Fu Yisi, and so did Fu Family.
Soday, Fu Yisi would have to shoulder his responsibilities.
Moreover, she understood that Fu Yisi had his parents and the Fu Family in his heart.
He would go back.
Yet, it was Fu Yisi who then asked Ji Sang.
"After changing from Dr. Fu to President Fu, will you like more?"
