Chapter 386: Chapter 360: Love and Marriage

Su Ge had sharp eyes and imdiately noticed that the background behind Ji Sang was not at her ho.

“Did you just co back from the South Sea? It’s so late, why aren’t you at ho resting? Where did you go?”

“I’m at the hospital.”

Su Ge imdiately handed the plate she was holding to Han City and frowned as she sized up Ji Sang.

“Hospital? It’s so late, are you feeling unwell?”

Ji Sang shook her head.

“No, it’s just that he had an ergency surgery, so I ca along.”

Su Ge was montarily stunned, not quite understanding who this ‘he’ referred to.

Ever since she got pregnant, her reaction ti had indeed beco slower.

It was Han City who chid in.

“Fourth is really too inconsiderate, how could he bear to have you wait in the cold hospital?”

Su Ge then rembered that Ji Sang’s husband, Fu Yisi, was a doctor and chid in with Han City’s words.

“Yeah, it’s getting colder, how could he stand letting you wait at the hospital?”

Ji Sang smiled as she watched the couple complain about Fu Yisi, and explained.

“I received a call on the way back, there was no ti to go ho.”

Although she could have asked Cao Zheng and Wu Jing to take her ho, she and Fu Yisi clearly didn’t want that.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Even if they couldn’t stick together, being in the sa place was good enough; of course, she wanted to go back together.

After chatting for about half an hour, Han City began gesturing with his eyes at Ji Sang, almost as if he was about to kneel before her on the screen.

The ti indeed was late, and Ji Sang, holding back a laugh.

“Alright, Sister, let’s find a ti to et and chat. It’s so late now; if you’re not tired, the baby in your belly must be.”

Su Ge pouted, clearly unwilling, as she hadn’t had anyone to talk to properly for the past half month.

But indeed it was late.

Seeing her hesitation, Ji Sang quickly said.

“You set the ti, I’ll be there whenever you call.”

This finally pleased Su Ge.

“Then it’s settled! You’ll co whenever I call.”

“Yes, yes, yes.”

With this, they ended the video.

Ji Sang was sowhat tired originally, but after this video call, she felt quite spirited.

The hospital at this ti was much quieter than during the dayti; other girls might have started to feel scared, but Ji Sang was very familiar with hospitals. Plus, knowing that Fu Yisi was working in the surgery room, she wasn’t afraid at all.

She even stepped out of the office, intending to take a casual stroll on the fourth floor.

It was quite a coincidence that the duty nurse today was Nurse Xiao Li.

When Ji Sang approached, Nurse Xiao Li was yawning. Upon seeing Ji Sang, she imdiately widened her eyes and exclaid softly,

“Ms. Ji.”

Then rembering the wedding candy she had had, she smiled and corrected herself,

“Mrs. Fu.”

Ji Sang was amused and laughed.

“How long more will you be on duty?”

Since there was nothing much happening at the mont, Nurse Xiao Li simply rested her chin on her palms and started to chat with Ji Sang.

“It’s still early for . I’m on the night shift; I have to wait for the colleague who will take over.”

Ji Sang nodded.

“Mrs. Fu, I feel like you’ve changed.”

“Hmm?”

It might have been the smile Ji Sang had at the beginning, or perhaps the rare company and conversation late at night, that gave Nurse Xiao Li the courage to voice her thoughts.

“In the beginning, you were a cool beauty, and Dr. Fu was like a lofty flower on top of a peak.”

“So, when all of us saw you and Dr. Fu dating, although it was a bit of a surprise, it wasn’t too shocking as Dr. Fu seed like he would choose soone like Ms. Ji.”

“Whenever Dr. Fu was in a good mood, we knew for sure it was thanks to Ms. Ji.”

“After being with you, Dr. Fu really has changed a lot. Although he’s still as cool and serious as before, he seems more approachable, and we think Dr. Fu isn’t that difficult to get along with anymore.”

“And…”

Nurse Xiao Li leaned towards Ji Sang’s ear.

“I also think you’ve changed a lot, becoming more cheerful. Mrs. Fu, you look so beautiful when you smile. You must be very happy after your marriage.”

“Indeed, people in love do influence each other.”

Nurse Xiao Li suddenly clenched her fists and looked up at the ceiling.

“When will my true love appear?”

Ji Sang was amused by Nurse Xiao Li and laughed.

“He definitely will.”

After listening to Nurse Xiao Li’s words, Ji Sang’s smile lingered.

Yes, this love changed both Fu Yisi and herself.

Their mutual changes contribute to a better life for both of them.

Perhaps this is what love and marriage are all about.
