Ji Sang’s fingers slid ceaselessly over the phone screen, her longing for Fu Yisi intensifying as she went through their chat history.
What might he be doing this late? Busy in his study, or perhaps he’s already resting?
Her finger lingered on the keyboard for a long ti. Although Fu Yisi had said she could ssage him whenever she had ti, Ji Sang didn’t want to let herself go just on the first day. How many hours had it been since they parted?

She put down her phone, closed her eyes, her fingers unconsciously gripping the sheets, but counting sheep again did nothing to usher in sleep. Reluctantly, she grabbed her phone once again; it was already midnight.

She opened Fu Yisi’s chat box once again.
During the late hours, one’s will tends to weaken, emotions flow several tis stronger than during the daylight. No sooner had Ji Sang resolved not to ssage Fu Yisi, she began to feel the urge again.
Finally, Ji Sang sat up, crossed her legs, held her phone in both hands and muttered to herself,
“Now it’s past midnight, not the first day anymore.”
“I’ll just send a ssage, he might be sleeping.”

Ji Sang really couldn’t take it anymore, she urgently needed to express her overwhelming longing.
But what should she say?
Ji Sang realized she didn’t know what to say.
She had never expressed her longing through text before.

Just like the first ssage she sent Fu Yisi the day after she returned to the country, it was an emoticon.
One said: “Let see what you’re doing?”
Another said: “Your baby misses you!”
After sending them, Ji Sang breathed a long sigh of relief, the knot in her heart loosened considerably.
Ji Sang lay leisurely on the bed, aimlessly scrolling through her phone.
After sending the ssages, regardless of whether Fu Yisi would see them or reply, Ji Sang scrolled through her phone for a few minutes and surprisingly felt drowsy.

Unsure whether Ji Sang was asleep, Fu Yisi did not opt for a voice reply. Instead, he took his ti choosing from his photo gallery and finally selected a satisfactory emoticon to send back.
Fu Yisi sat on the bed, staring at his phone, and after waiting about ten minutes without a reply from Ji Sang, he shook his head.
Was this her way of sending a ssage to express her longing and then falling into deep sleep?
