Chapter 260: Chapter 234 Brother and Fourth Sister-in-Law’s Kitchen Routine

Fu Yisi left work early for the first ti, so no one expected him to return so soon.

Even though it was Han City’s first visit to Fu Yisi and Ji Sang’s marital ho, he behaved nothing like a guest.

“You’re back? That’s pretty early.”

Fu Yisi did not respond to Han City, instead, he nodded slightly to Su Ge before going into the kitchen.

He was still sowhat worried, afraid that Ji Sang would get tired.

Ling Yuxuan genuinely wanted to learn about cooking, and Ji Sang taught earnestly, so when Fu Yisi entered, they initially didn’t notice.

When the man saw Ji Sang getting ready to handle the crabs, he couldn’t help stepping forward, interrupting,

“Let do that.”

Ji Sang’s eyes widened slightly, then she smiled.

“Why are you back?”

Fu Yisi simply lifted his hand to ruffle Ji Sang’s hair without answering. Instead, he turned to look at Ling Yuxuan,

“Want to learn?”

When he said this, his eyes held their usual coldness, and his brow lifted slightly, his tone light and without any fluctuation.

Ling Yuxuan unexpectedly had a keen sensitivity to Fu Yisi’s reaction, always feeling there was another aning to Fu Yisi’s words.

The little devil pondered for a while before pursing his lips,

“I do want to learn, but there’s no need to bother my sister-in-law. I’ll just find ti to have the restaurant chefs teach .”

After saying that, Ling Yuxuan glanced at Fu Yisi, feeling confident about his excuse. Although going out now ant enduring the lovey-dovey display of his second brother and his wife, it was still better than staying here.

Tch, he always thought that Brother on matters involving his sister-in-law, was quite stingy.

But Ling Yuxuan would never know that Fu Yisi’s ‘stinginess’ was simply because Ji Sang occasionally complinted him without thinking.

The dinner for four was complicated as it was simple. With Fu Yisi’s help, Ji Sang’s cooking speed greatly accelerated.

Initially, the three people in the living room were leisurely watching TV and chatting, but as the aroma from the kitchen spread, they all grew restless.

Especially Su Ge, who had a much better appetite after getting pregnant, and it had been a really long ti since she last had a al cooked by Ji Sang. After slling the aroma, she walked straight to the kitchen door to watch.

“Ah Shang, when can we eat?”

After saying that, she swallowed hard.

Han City originally followed out of concern for Su Ge’s safety, but once at the kitchen door, the aroma intensified, and even Han City, used to exotic delicacies, couldn’t help but peek into the kitchen.

He had only heard Sister say that Ji Sang’s cooking skills were very good, but seeing it now, it indeed seed so.

Ling Yuxuan was also impatient, having missed out the last ti, and finally, he was going to taste his sister-in-law’s cooking.

“Brother, why not bring out the finished dishes first?”

Allowing them to feast their eyes first would do.

The couple inside shook their heads in unison at the sight of everyone standing at the kitchen door.

Although Fu Yisi frowned, he said with a smile,

“Ling Yuxuan, have so decency. If Uncle Ling knew about this, he would have sothing to say.”

Their family was in the catering business, with all sorts of flavors available, and yet Ling Yuxuan wasn’t particularly passionate about the family business.

Ling Yuxuan was quick-witted,

“The chefs at the store cook for others, but sister-in-law’s cooking is specially for us, how can they be compared.”

This sycophantic comnt successfully made everyone laugh, even the corners of Fu Yisi’s eyes were smiling.

With Ling Yuxuan’s encouragent, Ji Sang sped up, and finally, amid everyone’s anticipation, brought out all the dishes.

Since this al was ant to celebrate and welco the arrival of Su Ge’s baby, Ji Sang paid extra attention to the plating.

It was truly a feast for the eyes, nose, and palate.

Even Ling Yuxuan, who usually disdained the ‘photos co first’ ntality, couldn’t resist taking out his phone for a snap.

Perhaps the joy in cooking lies in gaining everyone’s approval.

Before the official start of the al, Han City raised a toast to thank Ji Sang for her hard work and to welco the baby’s arrival.

Fortunate for their close relationship with Fu Yisi, otherwise, such a gathering would not have taken place at Fu Yisi’s ho, nor would Ji Sang have been the one to go through the trouble of preparing this al.

Han City might have been too excited; he couldn’t seem to stop talking once he started, and it was Ling Yuxuan who cut him off.

“Second Brother, I know you’re happy, but a few words are enough, let’s eat, or else the food will get cold. Wouldn’t that make sister-in-law’s hard work all in vain?”

Su Ge also gave Han City a glare.

“Why have you beco so long-winded?”

Han City: ….

He looked at Su Ge, feeling sowhat wronged.

“Wife.”

He was like this only because he was happy.

Su Ge: …

Ji Sang had been busy packing since she got up this morning and hadn’t rested at all. Fu Yisi noticed the fatigue in her eyes and glanced at Han City. Then, he pulled out a chair for Ji Sang.

“Sit first.”

Han City touched his nose and didn’t say anything.

Su Ge knew about Ji Sang’s culinary skills early on, while Han City and Ling Yuxuan were tasting Ji Sang’s cooking for the first ti.

It was unexpectedly delicious.

“Brother, you’re too lucky. To be able to eat such delicious als every day!”

Although sowhat exaggerated, it was indeed the truth.

Ji Sang truly had a talent for cooking.

Su Ge was not experiencing morning sickness yet and, without the pressure of work, she didn’t restrain her appetite at all.

Han City was also full of praise.

Watching everyone’s reactions, Ji Sang smiled with her eyes slightly squinting.

“If it’s good, eat more.”

However, from the mont she sat down, Ji Sang hadn’t taken a single bite.

Fu Yisi peeled a few shrimps for Ji Sang and placed them aside.

“Why aren’t you eating?”

Ji Sang shook her head.

“I’m not hungry yet.”

That’s how it is with cooks; sotis they prepare a whole table of food and feel full without even eating.

Fu Yisi frowned slightly and ladled a bowl of porridge for Ji Sang.

“Drink a bit to fill your stomach, okay? Your stomach might get uncomfortable later.”

Ji Sang really didn’t feel like eating. She scooped once, twice, thrice in the bowl, but never brought the spoon to her mouth.

Ling Yuxuan was sitting opposite the couple, clearly seeing all the movents. While peeling a crab, he sneakily watched them, wanting to see how his brother would handle this situation.

Fu Yisi’s attention was fully on Ji Sang, taking note of all these small gestures.

The man put down the crab in his hand, took off his gloves, cleaned his hands with a napkin, and then held Ji Sang’s hand that was about to pick up a wine glass.

“Don’t drink on an empty stomach.”

He hadn’t interfered during the celebration earlier.

After speaking, Fu Yisi got up from the table and went straight into the kitchen.

Finally, Su Ge raised her head, looking at Fu Yisi re-entering the kitchen with a puzzled face, and softly asked,

“What’s wrong with him?”

Ji Sang shook her head helplessly.

“He must be going to make sothing for to eat.”

Su Ge: ???????

Han City: ???????

Ling Yuxuan: ???????
