Chapter 251: Chapter 225 What did you say?

Min Yunwen was in quite a bit of pain now. He turned on the speakerphone, tossed his phone aside, and buried his head in the sofa before saying,

“Don’t talk nonsense.”

His voice was sowhat muffled, his tone even more irritable and impatient than usual.

Jiang Yun chuckled,

“I told you to take those plasters from and use them. You didn’t believe it—now suffer.”

Min Yunwen: …

“Another word and I’ll hang up.”

Jiang Yun then dropped the teasing tone,

“Your hand might be cured.”

Hearing this, Min Yunwen didn’t react with joy but instead let out a self-deprecating laugh,

“After all these years, you tell now it can be cured?”

Initially, he had consulted many hospitals, both Western and Chinese dicine, and all said there was no complete cure for his hand and that he would suffer from a lifelong affliction.

He fell into a state of despondency for several months before accepting this reality. He planned to give up his career as a photographer, to set down his beloved SLR cara, and to endure the agony in his hand in the cold weather.

His heart had long been ravaged, and sotis he even felt a strange pleasure in the pain.

Cure, you say?

Not another pipe dream.

“The pain might be a bit much in this kind of weather, but holding a cara shouldn’t be an issue.”

After Jiang Yun finished speaking, a long silence followed.

It was Jiang Yun who broke the silence first,

“Min Yunwen, did you hear that?”

Still no response.

Jiang Yun looked at the phone screen puzzledly; the call was still active.

“Min Yunwen.”

Finally, there was so noise at the other end.

Min Yunwen sat up, grabbed the phone with his left hand,

“What did you just say?”

“Now you’re willing to listen carefully?”

Min Yunwen frowned and clicked his tongue in irritation,

“No nonsense.”

“Alright, alright, no more teasing. Back when you had surgery, the technology wasn’t as advanced. I recently heard from a friend that a new technique has been imported from abroad. If I’m not mistaken, there’s a doctor at City First Hospital who can perform the operation again for you. The pain during wet and cold weather may not be completely treatable, but the muscle weakness can be definitively resolved.”

Jiang Yun paused for a mont,

“Of course, if you had just applied the plasters obediently, you wouldn’t be in such pain now.”

Min Yunwen had only himself to bla for his bear-like appearance. When autumn began, he called to remind him to co and get so plasters when he had the chance; nearly a month had passed, and he hadn’t shown up.

“What exactly do you an by having the surgery again?”

Jiang Yun raised an eyebrow, not surprised by the question,

“Basically, they’ll anesthetize you, cut open your skin, remove what was put in during the previous surgery, then fit new parts in and sew you back up.”

“Don’t feed that hogwash. What are you really saying?”

Jiang Yun: …

Was the guy out of his mind from the pain or just poor at understanding?

Min Yunwen rubbed his forehead with his knuckles,

“What I an is, is this surgery really useful?”

“I’m not entirely sure. You should go to City First Hospital and consult for yourself. The doctor’s last na is Fu.”

Min Yunwen squinted slightly,

“What did you just say?”

Dr. Fu?

“You heard right, the surna is Fu, very well-known. I used to know his first na, but it’s slipping my mind right now.”

“I understand.”

Min Yunwen could probably guess who Dr. Fu was.

Although Jiang Yun had disturbed him with a late-night call, the news truly made the still waters of his heart ripple.

If the surgery could indeed allow him to pick up the cara again…

That would truly be sothing to yearn for.
