Chapter 185: Chapter 159 Ms. Ji, What’s Wrong with You?

Zhang Ting wasn’t quite sure what had happened between Fu Yisi and Ji Sang in such a short ti. Ms. Ji’s eyes were still red-rimd, and Dr. Fu’s work could have been put aside, yet he had co to accompany her.

And Ji Sang’s mood had grown gloomy after Fu Yisi left.

What woman wouldn’t care about her fertility? Especially when she realizes she’s deeply in love with soone, has planned a future, and wants to have his child.

It’s impossible not to care.

All the way, Zhang Ting was extrely careful, fearing that sothing he said might worsen Ji Sang’s mood.

This morning, they had just been handing out wedding candy.

But Zhang Ting didn’t expect that Ji Sang would suddenly initiate a conversation with him.

The topic of conversation, however, felt increasingly odd.

“Do you have a girlfriend?”

“Yes.”

“How long have you been together? When do you plan to get married? Do you want kids?”

Xiao Zhang: …

“We’ve been together for nearly three years, we already have marriage plans, and as for kids, of course, we’d want them.”

“Oh, you must really want kids, right?”

Xiao Zhang beca even more puzzled. Ms. Ji wasn’t soone who would pry into others’ privacy; sotis she even felt tired from interacting with people, so why was she acting so strangely today?

Perhaps sensing Zhang Ting’s confusion, Ji Sang ca back to her senses, realizing she had overstepped the mark, and annoyingly tapped her forehead.

“Sorry, I…”

Before Ji Sang could finish, Zhang Ting quickly waved his hand

“Hey, it’s okay. As for kids, of course, I want them.”

Zhang Ting raised his eyebrows, his hands exaggeratedly intertwined in front of his chest

“I want to have an angel like my girlfriend, buy her little dresses, and dress her up beautifully.”

Angel…

Ji Sang’s eyes flickered slightly.

Suddenly, she recalled the scene from a few days ago when she and her mother were looking at pictures of Fu Yisi as a child.

If only she could have a child who looked very much like Fu Yisi…

How wonderful that would be.

“Ms. Ji, why are you suddenly asking these questions?”

Zhang Ting, as if he had thought of sothing, suddenly bent down, coming a bit closer

“Are you and Dr. Fu planning to have a baby?”

Ji Sang tugged the corner of her mouth but didn’t answer.

All Xiao Zhang could do was to guide Ji Sang to the examination departnt and wait outside.

What he didn’t expect was that he would et Cheng Jianwen and Ji Sang just by going to the restroom.

Cheng Jianwen can now walk slowly on his own.

Seeing the form in Ji Sang’s hand, he raised an eyebrow

“Photographer Ji, oh, I an, Mrs. Fu…”

Cheng Jianwen smiled a bit.

Ji Sang frowned and imperceptibly moved a step aside.

Whether it was the brake incident or the kindergarten matter, she couldn’t look at Cheng Jianwen normally.

Even to say, she despised such a person.

She wasn’t clear on how Cheng Jianwen knew about her photographer identity, much less how he knew she was Mrs. Fu.

But…

She didn’t want to deal with him.

She simply didn’t want to.

However, Cheng Jianwen clearly didn’t think the sa way; he moved step by step, slowly towards Ji Sang.

“Your health is as bad as ever, huh?”

Having said that, Cheng Jianwen curled the corners of his mouth, a shadow looming in his eyes.

His aning was unclear.

But Ji Sang abruptly looked up, her heartbeat suddenly accelerating for so unknown reason.

“What do you an?”

Cheng Jianwen, however, didn’t say anything else, just kept shaking his head with a smile, his gaze never leaving Ji Sang.

Ji Sang felt a chill looking at him like that.

For so reason, she thought of the orphanage.

“Who are you?”

Ms. Ji subconsciously leaned against the wall, her lips tightly pursed, and her hands behind her back clenched into fists.

Cheng Jianwen’s gaze flickered, then suddenly he raised his hand to adjust his glasses

“A truly clever person,”

With just a sentence, he could keenly sense so keywords and acquire critical information.

Always so smart since childhood.

Ms. Ji’s face had begun to turn pale, even beads of sweat were forming on her forehead.

The orphanage was a nightmare for Ms. Ji.

At least for the Ms. Ji of now, it was a nightmare she could never escape.

Seeing that his goal had been achieved, Cheng Jianwen left with a satisfied smirk on his face, stepping away slowly.

Ms. Ji wanted to step forward to ask for clarity, but at so point, her legs had started to go weak, even trembling slightly.

How long had it been since she had those nightmares?

Ms. Ji couldn’t rember.

But now, in broad daylight, the images and voices that had tornted her countless tis in the night were playing out at this mont.

“Are these things for you to touch? Haven’t I told you not to touch them?”

“Stay here properly, and don’t make a sound.”

“When those uncles and aunties ask you questions later, do you know how to answer?”

“Don’t think of escaping; your fate is to stay here, understand?”

“Giving you this much food is enough; how much can kids eat?”

“Don’t cry, smile, can’t you smile? Haven’t you learned after being taught for so long?”

“If you don’t obey, I’ll lock you up in the dark room.”

“Sister, we won’t talk; after they fall asleep, we’ll sneak out to look.”

“Sister, I saw so at in the kitchen; I will go get it for you later.”

“That auntie seems to have noticed sothing different.”

“Sister, let’s just listen to these people for now and find a chance to approach that auntie.”

“Sister, it’s not good.”

“…”

“…Sister, don’t look.”

“Sister, don’t be afraid.”

“It’s okay.”

“Sister, Xiao Feng will find you one day.”

“Ms. Ji? Ms. Ji?”

The nurse who ca over to call Ms. Ji for a checkup looked worriedly at the woman shivering against the corner of the wall, her complexion alarmingly pale.

Startled.

She hurried over, examining her up and down.

“Ms. Ji, what’s wrong?”

The nurse placed a hand on her shoulder but didn’t dare to touch her easily.

A cacophony of noise.

Zhang Ting, who had just co out of the restroom and heard the commotion, frowned and was about to say ‘no noise allowed in the hospital,’

But he suddenly realized that the person in the corner, whose state seed off, was Ms. Ji.

He approached with a stern face.

Zhang Ting first asked the onlookers to disperse, giving Ms. Ji plenty of space.

“Ms. Ji?”

Ms. Ji had no response.

“Go and call for Dr. Fu,”

Zhang Ting decisively instructed the nurse to fetch Fu Yisi, while he stayed quietly by Ms. Ji’s side.

“It’s okay, Dr. Fu will be here soon,”

Hastily.

Upon hearing the nurse’s account, Fu Yisi rushed over with a stern expression.

Seeing the woman in the corner with an unnaturally pale face, the man’s emotions at that mont were indescribable.
