"Did you not go to work today?" Joshua was pleasantly surprised to see Ivy and stood up imdiately to peck her lips. But the lady in question just avoided him and went to Noah, who was sitting comfortably with a laptop in front of him.

"Hey, Noah. Are you okay?" Ivy could not distinguish what was running in the man's mind from his expression. He was expressionless and kept staring at the laptop like the man on the screen would jump out and co before him.

"He's fine. Don't worry." Ian mumbled as he licked his spoon. "He is just conjuring plans to kill people. It's his 'I am in the mood to murder soone' expression. Soone is going to have it soon." He explained and Ivy giggled softly.

"And who might that be?" Ivy probed, glancing at Joshua, who had a massive smile.

Ivy was surprised to see his look of relief and she raised a brow inquisitively. "And why are you smiling like a fool? Did sothing amazing happen?"

"A lot, actually." Joshua pulled Ivy with him and relayed everything they had discovered a few monts ago. Ivy listened to him patiently and eventually, she too started smiling.

"At least you guys are sure that it's not Theo. Now, all that remains is to find out who is behind this shit."

"Yep. Don't worry. We will find sothing soon. By the way, why are you here? Didn't you go to work today?" Joshua repeated his previous question and pouted lightly.

"I did. But I returned halfway. I was not in the mood to go to work and my Dad gave a day off after I beseeched him." Ivy winked at him, which Joshua returned imdiately.

"What are you going to do now? What's the plan?" Ivy looked at the n and finally focused on Noah, who had not spoken much. "You may not say anything if you are unwilling to. I am fine with it and I understand."

"That's not it, Ivy," Noah finally spoke when he realized his silence was making people misunderstand. "I need your help with the plan I have in mind."

"Okay. Do tell if you need my help?" Ivy chirped and smiled at Ian.

At that mont, Joshua's phone rang, gaining everyone's attention to him and he picked it up imdiately when he saw who had called him.

"Hi, Maggie. What did you find out?" He did not dawdle and moved to the topic directly and Noah turned to face him imdiately.

"Jo, this is huge and I think you might all be super shocked."

"Okay, give a minute. Let put you on speaker. Noah, Ian and Ivy are here." Joshua glanced at Ian and Noah and put the call on speaker. "What do you have for us, Maggie?"

"The guy who killed Charles is not Theo. It is soone who resembles Theo."

"We got that, Maggie. We found out about it just soti before your call."

"He was trained to act like Theo and underwent so surgery to look like Theo."

Although this was expected and the n had thought about this possibility already, they were still perplexed to hear the truth.

"I was unable to find out who trained him. But I think the motive behind it is for you guys to doubt Grandpa Carter because Theo was loyal to Grandpa." Her reasoning matched with Noah's and everyone looked at the man instantly.

"Beware. What I'll be throwing next is the actual deal and I'm sure everyone will be shocked beyond words."

"Oh, what might that be?" Joshua mused, his curiosity spiking to an all-ti high.

"I am sorry, Noah. I checked your Grandpa because I wanted to find out about the man who killed Charles, in case if there was any link between the two and I found a thing or two about him that might interest you."

Noah was not surprised that Maggie had investigated his grandfather's details. He was more interested in what she had found out and what had got her all riled up.

"For three years, there has been a constant transfer of funds from Grandpa Carter's account to one account in particular and I checked the man."

"It's soone by the na of Manny Vazquez. I looked into the man, and you guys might want to see who it is. I have sent the details to Jo."

Joshua imdiately opened the attachnts he had received and the mont he opened one of the images, he almost dropped his phone in fright.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Ivy leaned forward to see what had got Joshua all spooked and her eyes widened imdiately when she saw the man they had been discussing and doubting all day.

"How can it be him? Isn't he dead?" Her shocked words only increased Noah and Ian's curiosity and they went forward to see the truth themselves.

The mont Noah and Ian saw Theo on the phone with a new look, they were more dumbfounded than they had been when they first saw Theo's imposter.

"Theo isn't dead, Ivy. In fact, he is well and alive and has been living far away from you guys for three years for reasons I cannot confer."

"Is there any possibility that you are wrong, Maggie?" Joshua queried, his mind still reeling that Theo was alive.

"I might be wrong. But Grandpa Carter's regular phone calls to this man as well as the bank transactions make think otherwise. There were especially calls made to him by Grandpa when Noah and Joshua were shot." Maggie stated her reasons one by one, not caring that her words might offend them if she was wrong.

"Where is he right now?" Noah queried, his brows narrowing into a deep frown.

"He is in Amsterdam right now. But I can't find his exact location. I will need more ti to track him."

"That's okay. We are not in a hurry to find him." Noah mumbled as he thought about it while everyone looked at him questioningly. "Yet." He added.

"Before that, I need to speak to my Grandpa. I need answers for many things, and only my Grandpa can tell what is happening."

"Okay. I'll try to find out more in the anwhile." Maggie promised. "Anyway, Jo, Theo did not kill Charles. That's for sure."
